A very nice and well equipped property. We had stayed in nearly all of the airbnbs in Sandy Hill. This is by far the best place including the location, parking, ease of access, lots of rooms and space in property, nice furniture, bathrooms and beds. All round a great place.

Amazing place in a wonderful area. The place is amazing, perfectly decorated, super clean and well equipped. In a wonderful area, very quiet and close to everything.

The house is very cosy and feels like your own. Its dog friendly so big ups to Lisa for loving dogs. The neighbourhood is very residential and peaceful. There is a driveway where we parked our car for free the whole stay and relied on public transportation. The bus stop is 7 minutes walking (approximately), then a 10 minutes bus ride and then 10 minutes on the subway to get to berri-uqam (which is pretty much downtown). The house is spacious with a massive backyard/garden, an office, a big living room and 2 bedrooms (so plenty of space for all of us 4). Definitely recommended 👍

Clean bathroom, amazing shower head, all the kitchen appliances you need, laundry is also available, bedroom is cozy and comfortable. Parking is available too. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this lovely Airbnb! The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. It was perfect for our work crew, and we appreciated having a fully equipped kitchen to cook all our dinners. Lunches were also convenient with the available amenities. The hot tub was a fantastic feature—perfect for relaxing after a busy day. The backyard is beautiful and very comfortable, creating a cozy outdoor space to enjoy. Overall, a fantastic place with great host hospitality. We highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay here! Very easy to access and had a clean and welcoming atmosphere upon arrival. We loved all the cozy corners throughout the house and the property to sit and chat and play board games together. The fenced backyard was a huge plus for the two dogs in our crew, and we thoroughly enjoyed the back patio. With it being winter, we didn't get to enjoy the pool or basketball court, but even without access to those amenities, Liz's AIrbnb was the place to be (and would be even more so in the summer I can imagine!)

Fully-equipped cottage on a large lot. Close to several attractions and less than 25 minutes from downtown Gatineau and Ottawa. Recommended.

Wonderful garden with an outside seating area (it was a heaven for us and my doggie as well). Attention to detail is amazing with great “finishing touches”. Very kind and welcoming hosts. Louis was very considerate and helpful. Very peaceful neighbourhood with some restaurants and shops near by and great parks to run at. Thank you very much!

Our group of 8 friends spent an amazing long weekend at Friendly Fires and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The place is quirky and cute in all the right ways… We experienced all 4 seasons in 3 days (19° and sunshine followed by freezing rain and snow), but the property has so many different areas to hang out and activities for entertainment and relaxing that we were never on top of each other or bored. We’re already planning our next visit, can’t wait to go back!

This place was so cute, we loved it! Karen did a great job in providing all the necessities and more. The attention to detail; from fire starting supplies, to games for downtime and the BINDER!! The binder laid everything out, even the local restaurants and stores. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!!
