We always stay with Gill when we’re over in Bedford visiting our family. Her place is convenient, homely and ideal for us, and is great value for money. Gill is so lovely and welcoming, and she even brought down books and toys for our daughter, and left an Easter egg and bunny for her on the Sunday. We will definitely stay here again next time we’re in town, thanks Gill!

We were met upon arrival and shown to our room. Everything was explained to us and if we needed anything just to ask. The property is very easy to find and was just as you see in the photos. Royston is a lovely town with nice restaurants and a Tesco had lots to look around and had the perfect access to Cambridge. We had a lovely time.

Homely corner for exploring the local area, thank you Roddy and Mrs Roddy (and Winston the Labrador!) for a comfortable stay. A friendly welcome, and the breakfast things and snacks were a nice touch.

Great place with a unique design and lovely wood directly behind it that is great for walks. Family friendly, clean and well appointed. A short drive to major supermarket. id certainly stay again.

Stayed here for a few times and it always has been an amaizing place to stay, Chris and her husband are excellent hosts.

This place is more than worth the value and is a wonderful quiet peaceful location, with countryside views and facing the sunset all very clean and tidy was a pleasure to stay .

William is a super host. seeing is spectacular and place is spotless. the cottage is on the small side, but that is clear from the listing...

David and Lisa made us feel very welcome. The room was ready way before check in. The place was spotless and extremely comfortable. There were toiletries and refreshments including bottled water, tea and coffee that we were so glad for. The room was decorated so lovely and the attention to detail really shows. It was within walking distance to the shops and restaurants which was very good. We would jump at the chance to stay here again.

My stay at Kingfisher Lodge was the perfect weekend escape for me and my little staffy Freya, the properties garden is wonderful, great fun to explore and a perfect suntrap to indulge in a good book! The accommodation was clean and cosy with everything needed to relax and feel at home, with added goodies including bread, butter, eggs, jam, milk, tea, coffee, a fruit bowl and wine/beer. I slept great, the mattress was super comfy and the location is peaceful and quiet whilst being 10 mins drive from the lovely town of Bury St Edmonds and a 2 min walk from Norton Park which is a must if you're staying with a dog, it's a lovely walk with woods, a river and even a maze to enjoy. The host was friendly and accommodating and made our stay the best it could be, as did his lovely little dog Georgia. Would happily revisit. 5 stars all round.

Dallas was a perfect host. My room was clean and fresh and the little touches like cereal and treats was lovely. I have no problem recommending people to stay here.

Isabel is a lovely host and is very proactive in her communication and in providing helpful assistance. The Hideaway is a wonderful place to stay, it was spotlessly clean with excellent furnishings and amenities, and was very comfortable too. Isabel's additional touches such as breakfast items and sweet treats were very thoughtful and greatly appreciated. The Hideaway was the perfect base for us to explore nearby Anglesey Abbey and Central Cambridge and we would highly recommend both the Indian Ocean Restaurant and Histon Station House as excellent local restaurants both in walking distance of the Hideaway too! We highly recommend anyone considering staying at the Hideaway to do so 😊

Got to say, it was a wonderful stay! Magnificent apartment. Had everything that I needed for the week and more. I was welcomed by the host Rosa and her husband, they were very polite, very welcoming and great hosts. Rosa personally showed me around the apartment, showed me where everything was and how everything worked and explain things. It’s a very nice location very quiet village surrounded by lovely farmland ideal for anyone who’s is looking for a stress free and quiet rest from life. Rosa is a great host, constantly checking up on you through text or personal. Making sure that everything is fine with your stay and if there’s anything that you need or she can help with throughout your stay with them. Highly recommended and if I am in the area again, I will definitely stay there again without doubt

Clean, easy to find, perfect for our stay in Chelmsford.

We had a lovely 2 night stay at the annex. The place was spotless , warm and very homely. Lucy kindly left some fresh eggs from the chickens in her garden and also some delicious home made bread. A lovely location within easy driving distance of Cambridge. A great place to stay and we hope to come back again.

Lovely and clean, everything I needed was there. Great comms, very convenient. I would definitely return and I recommend it to other travellers.

Well what a perfect little place!!! So welcoming and cozy Lots of extra little touches such as Gaviscon(!!) and tea bags biscuits etc. The bed was really comfy and the surroundings were so peaceful We really loved our flying visit and we are sorry we didn’t have longer to chill in the patio area! Thank you again I hope we will be back to visit soon

Lovely location and perfect space for a relaxing getaway

Beautiful apartment with fantastic facilities and small touches to make a great stay. We appreciated Theresa’s quick responses, easy to follow check in instructions and the lovely bed linen! Even down to the fresh milk in the fridge for tea and coffee - a great find and we would certainly stay again next time we are visiting family in the area. Thank you!
