Waterfront vacation rentals in South Algonquin

Very nice place to stay on Baptiste lake… peaceful and pretty!

We loved our stay. The condo was clean and tidy and very comfortable. We were only 2 people this trip, but loads of room for 4 adults or a family of 6. Two bathrooms a bonus. The view is lovely: the balcony spacious and well furnished. The beds were super comfy, and kitchen was well stocked with cooking items and plates, glasses etc. We had an issue with the A/C and Leah was quick to respond. Will definitely book again next time we are in the area.

Had an amazing stay at Era's place Perfect if you want to get away from the city The waterfalls near are the cherry on the cake with a meditation room Era was superb, available and flexible! Will come again for sure

Wonderful experience from start to the end. Lisa goes above and beyond with best accommodation and recommendations. Felt like we came home and enjoyed peaceful and beautiful surroundings. My favorite place was by the dock, surrounded by clear waters and greenery for miles. We had enjoyed taking daily canoe trips, visiting waterfall as per Lisa’s recommendation! Thanks again! This place is really good for a couple who wants to spend some quality time in the woods. Deafening silence all around which makes it so special and peaceful to connect with nature :) Property was super clean and nicely maintained- Cynthia was pretty quick and precise with her responses as well. The only feedback I would give is that the mattress and pillows in the bedroom should be more comfortable and probably of better quality! Would definitely recommend this place for a couple of nights for sure :)

Chris was very flexible with check out and making our check in time earlier. He was very responsive and clear on instructions with whatever was needed. Property was beautiful and the inside was clean. This stay would something even more beautiful in a month when the dock is put in and the water isn’t freezing! Highly recommend

Nortehaus is a great place for some private, peaceful time if you wanted to do indoor things. The sauna room was clean, the kitchen was big and well-stocked with kitchen equipment. It is ~30 minute drive to nearby provincial parks if you wanted to do some hikes.

The lake house was a lovely stay. First of all, the lakefront is beautiful and I enjoyed dangling my feet in the water and watching the sunset from the fire pit. The space inside was immaculate, comfortable, well-designed, and spacious. I let Andrea know the WiFi router had an issue, and within minutes she was on the phone with the company resolving the issue for me. I definitely recommend this home and would gladly stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at this cozy cottage right across the lake. The space was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the basic necessities. Kees was very responsive whenever we had questions, and we even got a chance to meet him while we were leaving. He is such a kind and welcoming person. The peaceful location and beautiful view made it a perfect getaway. Would definitely recommend!

Kelly's place was absolutely gorgeous. A cozy cottage in the lap of nature; you're surrounded by natural beauty. Lush green fields, a gushing river and plenty of activities, it's the perfect place to unwind, relax and have a great time. Listening to the sound of the river was absolutely the highlight of our trip and the weather was just perfect for a quick swim. Would definitely go back! Beautiful and easy to reach location and Kelly was super helpful throughout our stay.

The place was clean, cozy, and it was exactly like the photos. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook. The check-in and check-out and garbage disposal process was very clear and detailed, as the host provided an easy to follow instruction. We'll definitely come back!

Beautiful home. Stunning and peaceful location. Really easy access to Algonquin park. Well appointed kitchen with essentials and equipment to make meals. Beds comfy, linens excellent . Bathroom immaculate, good shower with large enclosure. Decking, hot tub and fire pit were appreciated and added to our enjoyment. Hosts helpful and responsive. Highly recommend a stay here.

Absolutely amazing stay! The place was right by the water and the views were stunning. Everything was clean, comfortable, and just as described. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the whole experience exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend — I’d love to come back!

I wish we could give 10 stars! Everything from the booking, to the information received beforehand, to communication while we were there, was fantastic. The amenities helped us wind down after a family wedding and celebrate our daughter's birthday! Jesse was very flexible for meeting our family's need and hopes while we were in Huntsville. We had a great time and hopefully will be back soon! PS playing pacman and making espressos were definitely highlights!!!

We recently stayed at Phil’s place and although short, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Kitchen is very well equipt, beds are comfortable, it was clean, quiet and the views looking over the water were amazing. Be mindful that there are two sets of full stairs to get from the bedrooms to the kitchen but would we go there again, absolutely.

The perfect little get away. The condo was super clean and updated, as well as homey/welcoming. Pino provided everything you could need. The view was beautiful. It was just what we needed for the best weekend.

It was such a great experience staying at this place. Maja and Neno are great hosts - the instructions are clear and it’s easy to find the suite even when it’s dark. They also share local recommendations (there is puppy yoga!) :) the place is an amazing getaway from the busy and noisy city life. In clear days you can see so many stars in the sky from the porch. It’s also so close to Algonquin so I can totally imagine it being super busy during maple leaf seasons. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting this area. Thank you Maja and Neno for this great experience!
