My family and I had a wonderful winter stay at Watersedge Lakehouse. The cottage was beautiful, peaceful and comfortable. Our host made sure we had all we needed and was very helpful with instructions on staying at the cottage , checking in and local recommendations. The main living room was a perfect place to gather and have a warm fire while looking out at the water. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed the hot tub and the outdoor fire plus the deer wandering about. It was a great place for relaxing and making memories.

Greg’s place is incredible, we would all go back in a heartbeat! Greg is a great host, always responsive and he made sure we had great stay. The place itself is beautiful, has a lot amenities and it’s super cozy. Beds are very comfortable and every space clean and well taken care of. Definitely recommended.

I had the best stay ever! This charming cottage exceeded all my expectations. It's absolutely stunning, with beautiful decor and a cozy ambiance that makes you feel right at home. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, from a well-stocked kitchen to plush linens and towels. The location is wonderfully peaceful, surrounded by nature, which adds to the relaxing atmosphere. Plus, the hot tub was the perfect touch—soaking in it after a day of exploring was an absolute delight! Overall, it was a perfect getaway.

If I could rate this place in one sentence it would be "we wished we lived here". Everyone in my family (dog included) loved the property. It was CLEAN, nice, spacious, warm and exactly as what you see in the photos. We didn't use the indoor fireplace at all as the home was well heated (I get cold easily too). The living room makes you feel very cozy when the sunsets and watching the stars at night here is breathtaking. The hosts sends you a PDF guide prior to your arrival so you know what to expect and a hard copy is available onsite as well. We mainly communicated with Foad and he was very responsive, kind and really helped us out when we got lost on our way there. Quick tip: use Google Maps! The hosts also provided complimentary chocolate and champagne when you arrive which was an added bonus. I'm also very thankful for the complimentary Keurig/ hot chocolate! Will definitely revisit again!

The place was lovely and Emily is a really responsive helpful host. She gave us loads of info ahead of check in and also added local recommendations. The view onto the lake is wonderful and we had everything we needed for a great stay!

Wonderful place! Kathryn's place was spic and span and was a great location for a sisters' get away. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook, and there were more staples like spices and garlic and condiments etc. than we usually see at AirBnb's. The living room was cozy and we loved the fire stove. We played several of the provided board games as well as corn hole and horseshoes. River was too fast moving in the spring to consider stand up paddle boards or kayaking. The hot tub was great - nice and clean. The speaker system throughout the house as well as outside was great. Beds were comfy. We took their advice re: trails to hike at and sights to see and were not disappointed. Loved everything about this place!

Davids place was beautiful and made for an enjoyable stay for our group visit. He was responsive and provided all additional details both in our chats as well as leaving a small booklet in the cottage itself highlighting places of interest nearby. The firepit and the gazebo are the most impressive parts of the property. Wifi coverage inside the cottage was fantastic and was very useful for any further research since the cellular network coverage is spotty at best. Bon Echo is just about a 20 minute drive away and there are more places within a 1 hour radius though we chose to mostly have a leisurely time on the property itself. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet, private fun time in the middle of nature.

My family and I were happy to stay at this rental property for a second time over the Easter long weekend. Barry continues to be a great host. The home remains spacious enough for a big family (and dog!), while remaining cozy and comfortable. We had yet another peaceful weekend in the Valley. Thank you for your hospitality once again, Barry! We look forward to our next visit.

Josh and Alyssa are great hosts. They are friendly and responsive, and made our stay easy and enjoyable. Their place is set up well, with lots of things to do inside and out. Not to mention, their rates are very reasonable. I would recommend staying with them.

My family and I had a wonderful getaway at York Riverscape. The cottage was well stocked with all the essentials. We especially loved not having to bring our own bedding and towels. The kids had a blast with the foosball table: Julie and Roger were responsive hosts and their cottage was exactly as described. We plan to return in the future.

Words cannot describe how impressed we were with Laughing Moose. The minute I walked in the front door I felt I could live here for ever. The incredible views, the spacious kitchen the stylish little pieces of decor make this place comfortable, relaxing and luxury. Janice pays attention to every little detail to ensure we had a fabulous time! From the selection of quality glasses, crockery and cooking utensils to the games and puzzles ( we completed a full jig saw puzzle between us) we had everything we could possibly need and much more. Even a thoughtful and delicious blueberry pie to welcome us !! We were visiting from Australia and planned this weekend with our two sons and families for a getaway together. It couldn’t have been more perfect and we made such fabulous memories. So much space for all 8 of us plus the 2 dogs! I can’t thank you enough for this special visit! This cottage is an absolute gem. We had the best time, as did our golden retriever, by far one of his funnest weekends ever!!! The sandy beach was perfect for him. We loved the docks, kayaks, row boat, paddle board, all so fun and peaceful on the calm lake. The cottage was in a great location, easy to find. The inside of the cottage was so cozy. Minden is so close and such a cute town. Thank you!!!

This cottage was the absolute perfect place to enjoy some down time as a family! The cottage was clean, well equipped and located on a beautiful, quiet beach. Everything we needed was provided and more! We enjoyed playing soccer on the large sandy beach, swimming, fishing, board games, campfires and watching movies in the evening. The kids and parents loved it!

Myself and my family spent a great memorable weekend at Slav's place on the lake. The house and settings were perfect. The place was clean and new, without clutter, and still very comfortable. The host was proactive and very responsive. Thank you, Slav and I hope to return shortly.

We enjoyed a couples weekend getaway to unwind surrounded by nature, taking advantage of nearby trails in the area. Hosts are very responsive and helpful. We hope to return!

Once again we had a great stay! This was our second year staying at Kunals' place and it was just as we expected. Kunal went above and beyond to accomodate us. Unfortunately a wk. before, due to a bad storm, the liner of the pool was damaged so the pool was inoperable. This is one of the main highlights of Kunals' place for us so it was a little disheartening because we were there for 8 days...HOWEVER, once again Kunal came through!! He purchased an 18ft back up pool and had it assembled and ready to go for our arrival so that we could still enjoy a pool!! My sister and I had a great time, enjoyed the peace and quiet and would stay at Kunals place over an all inclusive Carribbean trip anyday! House was clean, comfortable and we had everything we needed. Kunal gave us late checkout which was greatly appreciated! We will definitely be doing an extended stay next summer and are so looking forward to it! Thanks Kunal, you are a great host and we thank you for being so accomodating!!

We had a fantastic three-day stay at a lovely cottage in Minden Hills, Ontario, to celebrate the New Year. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the peaceful surroundings and the picturesque winter landscape. The cottage was cozy, spotlessly clean, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and memorable stay. One of the highlights of our experience was how responsive and helpful Paul was. Whenever we had questions or needed assistance, he was quick to reply and always made sure we had everything we needed. His attentiveness added a personal touch that truly elevated our trip. The location was perfect, offering both tranquility and access to nearby trails for winter walks. We spent our evenings relaxing by the fire and enjoying the quiet beauty of the snowy woods. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook delicious meals, and the thoughtful details throughout the cottage made us feel right at home. Thank you paul for everything - can’t wait to return

We had a totally wonderful long weekend getaway at Jeff & Karen's cottage. The communication with our hosts was perfect from the time of booking until our checkout. When we arrived, we were thrilled to find that the place was even more beautiful than the pictures. The views overlooking Lazy River, the living room area and the kitchen was our favorite, but everything else was impeccable as well. The beds were comfy, the entire cottage was very clean and we found everything we needed under our hands. What we all loved most about the cottage was its character and the little details that showed that the hosts truly cared about the place. The bedroom colors, living room decorations where all those colors came together in the cushions, ornaments etc. was so clever and elegant. The vinyl collection, the guitar and the board games added a nice touch to our stay. We were also fortunate to do some canoeing in the river to enjoy the tranquility. What more can I say, we'd love to come back soon!

This gem tucked on the Madawaska River is ideal for many reasons: - the cabin is situated on a small hill overlooking the flowing river, it is peaceful and beautiful, cosy and cute. - it is located in an area that is great for those looking for a little wanderlust/adventure close by - Tooey's Lake & Lake Clear were the nearby lakes that were great for day trips! - and the cabin itself is very clean, well equipped for making meals, and super comfortable - the mattresses were amazing, plush and comfortable. Luka is a terrific host, attentive, quickly responsive, and added some nice touches to our stay (provided wood for our fires, and dropped off some extra essentials that we needed). Keep in mind to bring your linens, and that swimming is not ideal for those with mobility issues, although, for those more experienced swimmers, it is a great spot to enjoy the water. We will be back, thanks Luka! 5 Stars all around.

Me and my friends had a great experience at the Long House, the pictures do not do it enough justice, it is beautiful. Everything was close proximity to the cottage and the hosts were very kind and helpful whenever we needed anything. Would love to come here again
