Very lovely stay, hope to come back one day ! The house is really magical and everything was as clean and functional. The water has a bit of a taste, like some other guests noted, so we brought a few bottles with us just for drinking and it was no problem. Bente left us some delicious home-made biscuits for our arrival. It was easy to access and park. It snowed a lot, but everything was regularly plowed. Thank you for everything !

Fantastic and well equipped cabin with many bedrooms. Lovely view over the Mylla water. Gunnar was very flexible and everything went very smoothly!

We were only there one night. The house is a bit outdated. Nevertheless, we had everything we needed and the area is very nice!

The house is comfortable, functional, and attractive. The location was good for us as we were interested in both skiing and spending time in Lillehammer - in between worlds. We enjoyed the sauna, the warm, clean bathrooms, and the well-equipped kitchen. There was plenty of space for everyone and cosy places to gather together or enjoy a quiet time alone. We enjoyed the family vibe of the home.

Great cabin, high standard, plenty of space, large outdoor area, plenty of space for parking of several cars. We will be happy to come again.

We had a great Easter holiday at Karistova. Fine possibilities for hiking in the nearby area for both adults and children when the snow was gone, just go right out the door and up the mountain. The cabin is very nicely located in the field, with plenty of space for outdoor activities. Inside, it was very smart with a fireplace in the middle and open kitchen that didn't feel cramped like cabin kitchen often does. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. We would love to come again, the cabin is very suitable both for summer and winter visits.

What a small, beautiful gem by the river. The cottage absolutely sweetened our last stop of our tour and surprised us. We thought it was so much nicer than the pictures showed. Everything is very well maintained, from the garden, boat to kitchen and bathroom. It was impressively clean and looked like first occupancy. Everything you need has been thought of: new candles, dishwashing tabs, new dishwashing sponge, etc. We had experienced this differently before. But in particular, Eirin and Rolf provided the house with loving details, which we were very happy about. There were fresh flowers on the table, the heaters were turned on beforehand and we could spend the evening comfortably by candlelight. We had a wonderful time. Many thanks to Eirin and Rolf. It was nice to meet you. We will be happy to come back.

We had a wonderful time during our stay end of December. The house was cosy and we felt at home from the beginning. The location was nice with possibilities for skiing and hiking around. Also the facilities in the house were great, especially the fireplace.

Svein and Margrethe's cottage was one of our all time favorite Air BNB rentals. The cottage was rustic, cozy, and very comfortable. We loved hanging out at the cottage and enjoying the fireplace. The location was perfect, with easy drives to restaurants, groceries, shopping, and the ski trails. Finally, our hosts made us feel welcomed and at home!

We were a group of friends going cross-country skiing in the mountains. We had nice mountain hikes and a fantastic nice stay. Steep icy roads up to the cabin and no light in the cabin when we arrived in the dark. But Mai-Britt was very helpful and responded quickly to the phone so we easily found our way and were also helpful with calling a tractor to improve road conditions. Otherwise very nice cabin that had everything we needed for a great week in the mountains😊

Large and nice cabin, clean and tidy. Everything was as it should be and we had good communication with Katerina all the way. She was friendly and helpful. The cabin has what it needs to be many people there gathered and we could cook lots of good food. In the nice weather we went for a walk to a pond and bath, a 1.5 km walk from the cabin🌸☀️

We stayed in this house for one week. All right, all right, all right. Nothing is missing. It's a very climb up, but definitely worth it! It seems like a beautiful ski resort in winter.

Beautiful house in a unique place.

We had a great Christmas vacation with family at Sachins hytte. It had everything one can need. We enjoyed the stay.

The cabin has an indescribably beautiful location directly on the lake. Spending the evenings by candlelight was a mega deceleration, we and our children enjoyed everything very much, the mountain tour with blueberry racks and of course the fishing on the lake including 3 caught fish were the highlights . We had a great stay at the cabin, which absolutely met expectations! The cabin is new, clean and spacious. We were 4 adults, 2 small children and 2 babies, and had more than enough space. There is a short way to Bjørneparken (about 20 min), and there is a nice playground close to the cabin. Recommended!

Really cozy and spacious cabin. we were 6 children and 4 adults. Parking just outside the door. Playground for the kids right next door. great hiking opportunities. We took a trip to Kristnatten and the biggest kids (9 and 10) got to the top. Short drive to the city center and Bjørneparken. The cabin and the area can really be recommended.
