Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Sonthofen

We were 2 married couples and wanted to go hiking. There are many beautiful hiking trails in the area. Calimoto helped with that. A good restaurant can be reached on foot in a few minutes. We also liked to use the sauna in the garden. It's quiet at night. Next year we'll come back and bring our bikes. In the evening, we could also play games at the large dining table. We were able to watch the last match of the Bundesliga on the big TV. Dunja gave tips on request and is very friendly. Regards, Johannes

We had a lovely time at Helmut & Paula's vacation home. The place was well equipped & very spacious. Communication about our stay was always super fast & very friendly. Definitely recommend!

We were allowed to spend a few great days in beautiful Allgäu. We immediately felt very comfortable in Alexander's apartment. He is a pleasant host. Everything worked out! Due to the great and easy to use wood stove in the living room, we often had a nice fire in the evening, which we appreciate very much in winter days. The location has a super equipped kitchen, hammer good barista coffee and is also dog friendly. The bedding and mattresses were top notch. There is no unnecessary clutter in the house. We'd love to come back anytime!

We stayed in the house over an extended weekend with three children and three families and felt really comfortable. The location is great, you can go on great hikes or walk to the Alpsee and enjoy the lake, ice cream & playground there. The great thing about the place is the game room and the beautiful garden with lots of play opportunities for the kids. The premises are cozy, clean and it has everything you need. The communication with Christian and his dad is excellent, they take care of ensuring that you have a nice stay in a very friendly manner. Glad to come back!

The interior of the house is very cozy and cute, a bit vintage, but not old. There are also plenty of kitchen supplies and some play equipment to play with! Although one of the three rooms will not have a heater and it is a little cold at night, you can sleep in the living room (the living room has a heater) and the sofa is also comfortable! The fireplace inside the house is to be heated with firewood, which is very cool! And the host responded quickly. One night, we urgently needed firewood, and the host sent it immediately after receiving the message! There is a prairie near the house, and you can enjoy the sunset when the weather is good🌅 I'd love to stay again if I get the chance!

The house and surroundings are beautiful. We had plenty of room and were very comfortable. The host’s were friendly, responsive, and helpful. They were 6 of us on business trip and we all hope to come back with our families!

The location is ideally suited for hikes from the house. We come back to everyday life

With April 2025 it was our fifth time as guests in Angela's apartment. We've been back many times because it's a magical place, we've loved it in all seasons. But now our family is large and can no longer accommodate us. However, we highly recommend this apartment, it is pleasant, nice, clean and equipped with every comfort. Angela is a fantastic host. We'll miss it

We (two people and a dog) had a great time in the place. Joachim was very easy to reach and very friendly and helpful. He even provided us with firewood before arrival because it was rainy and cool. Really good: The kitchen is very well equipped. There was also a flock of sheep right by the farm. So we had a very nice stay.

We loved our stay. Cozy apartment in the heart of the town, close to everything. Would love to come back!

We would also give 10 stars if possible. We were there for 5 days with a child and will definitely be back!

The space is wonderful. Ideal on cold winter days with a fireplace and sauna. Hiking and skiing in the immediate vicinity. Communication with Pontus and Anastasia went smoothly. Both were very helpful and accommodating. We highly recommend a stay. We will be back!

Nice big place, beautiful views, reliable wifi and a great host

We were here for a long weekend and it was a wonderful location. Very calm very peaceful. There is a pretty good bakery with groceries and a very nice Italian restaurant nearby. Perfect location to enjoy the nature. Offers to many activities around like hiking, biking etc. The host was also very helpful and communicated very well. I would definitely recommend this place.

We had a stay with 4 adults and 3 children. The house was very large with spacious rooms and plenty of parking. All the amenities were available and it was really clean. The only downside… the same period has already been booked next year.

We stayed there for a few days and felt very comfortable. The apartment is very nice and in great condition, especially the fireplace was a highlight. We also liked the kitchen, super equipped and cozy. We had a good time and would be happy to come back!

Very friendly and communicative Host. House is mich karger than the pics. The Garden is large with outdoor seating area. The House has a fun basement with large tables, games and sofas. Well worth the money. Its next to a Industrial area but you don’t really see or hear anything.

We could not be happier with our stay at Hotel Villa Ludwig. The private villa is an entire private residence which is both luxurious and historic. The staff are lovely and treated us like family from the moment we arrived. They ensured that all our needs were met, were very responsive, and took the time to answer questions and make helpful recommendations. Fresh breads with butter, honey, and jams were delivered to the Villa each morning, and they even included gluten free options. The property is at the base of the Neuschwanstein Castle, so the location is very close to both castles in Schwangau. It is also close to local restaurants and stores. We would highly recommend staying at Hotel Villa Ludwig and plan to stay here again. Thank you to Jessica and her colleagues for making our vacation special and for being so gracious and hospitable.

A very nice chalet, ideal for families and couples. We lived in the property with three couples. We were all able to sit together at the table both at breakfast and dinner, as well as in the living area. The fireplace offers a pleasant warmth after a short time.
