Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Sogndal Municipality

Great host, great accommodation.

Four of us stayed at this lovely house during our vacation in Norway. We chose Sogndal because it was a nice midpoint for several places we wanted to visit (Flam, Laerdal, Boyabreen and Loen). The area is unbelievably gorgeous and Sogndal is a nice town that has all the amenities you might want (restaurants, gas, groceries, etc.) vs. some of the smaller towns in the area. Eirik's house was lovely. The best part was the gorgeous view. The house is well-maintained, clean, and cozy. Eirik was always very responsive to any questions I had both before and during our stay. I would definitely recommend this property!

We had a great stay at Siv's lovely place. The house is very tastefully furnished and has a stunning view of the fjord and the mountains. It was beautiful in any weather. As we visited over Christmas, there were even very cute decorations. Siv and John were very helpful with any questions we had. Siv even alerted us to the northern lights - we would have missed them otherwise! We also enjoyed taking trips to Molden, Urnes and Lustrabadet. All in all, we highly recommend this lovely place!

Wow, this place exceeded all of our expectations. The location was absolutely brilliant - only a few minutes walk from the ferry station. Our hosts offered us apples and plums from their orchard (absolutely delicious) and were really helpful with anything we needed. They made us feel very welcome. We did amazing hikes right from the doorstep, and used the bicycles our hosts left for us. We went to the local hotel, just 5 mins walk away, for a private sauna on the fjord - not expensive at all and absolutely idyllic. The house was bigger than the photos looked - just perfect for us and really well equipped. We loved our stay and will hopefully be back!

Very nice and cosy place.

Staying here was an incredible experience. My wife and I were in awe of the spectacular views of the tranquil fjord, the snow-capped mountains around us, and the gushing waterfall next to the house. We used the kitchen a lot during our stay and immediately fell in love with it. It is the best stocked airbnb kitchen we have come across. Cooking in it felt so natural and everything was easy to find. The living room was also a highlight- it is spacious and, as the description says, it easily fits several guests but it still felt cozy with only us two. And of course, the hot tub was perfect to relax in on cold and windy evenings as the sun went down. It is clear Hans and Emily have put so much care and thoughtfulness into making this cabin a home for their guests. Their attentiveness extends beyond the house too and when the conditions were right to see the northern lights, they eagerly messaged us to make sure we didn't miss it. Every moment we spent here was a delight.

Excellent accommodation! View of the fjord & mountains from the apartment was spectacular. We felt right at home. Eldbjørg was very helpful with a short notice rental. Very clean. Shops are only 5min away. We would definitely stay again!

I recommend 100% this apartment: The vue is amazing, easy to find, not far from other places (hikes or city for groceries). Really clean, the kitchen has all you need, the beds are comfortable. Also, you can use their charger for the car which is great! Really I don’t see anything negative here. It was great, I which I could stay longer.

A wonderful place for a weekend with family. Spacious apartment. Close to ski lifts and cross-country trails. Peace and quiet. I highly recommend this place.

Awesome apartment with a lovely view. Large terrace with barbecue and seating area where you could enjoy a view you never got tired of. Definitely worth a visit!

Bente was a very nice host. The place was really clean and neat. The location is good, close to everything. The place had everything we needed and very cozy to stay. Also, she is very helpful and responsive. We had a nice stay, I definitely recommend!

This is a wonderful place to stay. Inger is a wonderful host with suggestions on activities to do in the area as well as where to dine and shop. As we were staying the weekend prior to Easter it was great to get the timely info that most things close Thursday and Friday prior to the weekend so we could plan accordingly. We enjoyed the apartment so much that we stayed an additional day and would have stayed longer had travel plans allowed. Immensely enjoyed speaking with her and learning about the area and some insights into Norway. A great place to relax and recharge with the stunning views. Will fondly remember this place and hope to visit again.

Wow, what a beautiful apartment with stunning views of the surrounding area. Stylish, spotless but also warm and welcoming. Definitely our most luxurious accommodation on a long road trip and a fabulous place to unwind and relax. Anne Marte was incredibly helpful and responsive when we had initial questions, and offered great recommendations for where to eat in town. Would definitely recommend a visit to anyone travelling through that part of Norway. Thank you for having us, we hope we can come back soon!

Nice place, nice host and nothing to postpone on the apartment. A little pricey, but I guess it's the market that controls😊

Very nice apartment overlooking the Sognefjord. My husband and I only spent one night at Trond's, which was very relaxing after several hours of driving. Access is autonomous, which is very convenient (just be sure to follow Trond's recommendations regarding the street to enter on your GPS). Calm and familial neighborhood. We didn't want for anything and the place is comfortable (large sofa, TV, good bedding). The toilet is separated from the bathroom, which is a plus. Thanks again Trond for hosting us!

The apartment was clean, well-maintained, and accurately as described. Everything went smoothly, and the communication with the host was quick and impeccable. Great location, and quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend and would love to come back in the future!
