We had a pleasant stay at Sonja's house. The location is great to explore the area and it was great to come back "home" after a day out to enjoy the comfort of home. We have been traveling with a toddler and it was a great place for home to run around.

It’s a great location, walking distance from the city center. I would recommend it as Tea is very reactive and helpful in her communication as well.

We feel lucky to have stayed at this house—the views really are just as stunning as they are in the pictures. Boža and Dušan were very welcoming and we had everything we needed to really settle in for a few nights—the kitchen, for example, was very well furnished with all sorts of practical implements for real cooking (i.e. not just a few dull knives and a single ladle rattling around in otherwise empty drawers). We really appreciated the house's easy access to Italy, Austria, and of course the rest of northwestern Slovenia—it offers a great combination of dramatic mountain views and easy road access (so no daredevil driving up and down steep and rocky rural roads every time you want to get some groceries). I'm sure the house is lovely in all seasons, but it was especially enjoyable to take a dip in the jacuzzi with an overnight frost settling in and then cozy up by the fireplace inside.

If you're looking to isolate yourself a few days from the top of a small peaceful village bordered by mountains and vineyards, Villa irena is for you! Satisfaction and rest guaranteed!

This experience was so good the place was very clean the neighborhood had many facilities such as restaurants and parking was also convenient. the view of the lake was breathtaking and you can reach the lake in less than 5 minutes which is a great way to spend an evening. overall 10 out of 10 love this place and love the room. the owners have taken such good care and paid attention to details when they provided the facilities. They were very friendly and very informative.

Our time at Ana's was great! The house is in a fantastic location in the Slovenian vineyards. The accommodation was very clean and perfectly equipped. Ana is an incredibly nice hostess and looked after us warmly. The location of the house is ideal for day trips to Trieste, Ljubljana and Venice. Huge recommendation for families or small groups! The kitchen is well equipped, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom is clean, the garden is beautiful. The lake is a 10-15 minute walk, the host is very kind and direct. If we come back, we'll still choose this accommodation! Everything was great!

Beautiful house in an incredible location. So easy to explore the Soca valley from here! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen fully equipped. Oton was very helpful. Definitely recommend staying here if you want a peaceful, beautiful spot to explore the area from.
