Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Sitio de Calahonda

Had a brilliant stay there far enough away from central Marbella that you don’t have any trouble however still a 20 minute drive to Puerto Beanus and old town Marbella. Host was welcoming and kind giving really good recommendations for local restaurants and things to do. Both communal pool and private pool were perfect for our group as well as the spacious bedrooms. We would definitely recommend and return.

My family and I had a fantastic four days. The accommodation is even better than in the photographs. It has all the comforts and is very equipped. What we liked most was the garden and the natural light the house has. We went with a two-month-old baby and Jose and Inmaculada provided us with a travel cot. It's a house totally adapted to a baby. The location is perfect for getting around Malaga's best-known sites. The hosts are very friendly and willing to answer any questions. Jose recommended several places to eat. Definitely a very good experience

Shops, a couple of bars and restaurants in walking distance. Short 5 minute walk to the seafront and a nice boardwalk to walk along to Cala de Mijas and the other way down to a nice marina with multiple bars/restaurants and beaches to stop either way. Short 20 minute walk into Cala which is a nice small town. Good bus service on the main road below the property so a car is definietly not essential. Around 30 minutes either way to Fuengarolla or Marbella. We experienced no noise from the main road when sitting outside or on an evening in bed. Quiet area as opposed to Fuengerolla or Marbella which suited. Nice clean accomodation in a nice quiet setting. The outside area is very relaxing in a beautiful private garden setting. Franck was very helpful with advice before our arrival and came to see us to make sure evertything was okay and gave helpful information on the local shops. Left us to our devices but was on hand if we needed anything. Would recommend.

Great location! With a gate onto the beach and a lovely beach bar next door. It's great at night sitting on the terrace listening to the waves.

What a wonderful time we had at Casueña. Alicia and Jorge were so welcoming, helpful, friendly, and fun. They met us at the villa and showed us everything we needed to know, and then were always on hand for anything else we needed. The villa was so well equiped, including basic food, tea, coffee, and fruit to get us going. Also, on the first morning, Alicia and Jorge gave us a basket of eggs from their own chickens! We loved the beautiful furniture, artwork and ornaments which all added to Casueña's charm. Since the weather was hot we spent most of our time in the stunning garden and lovely pool. Beautiful mature plants, shrubs and trees made the garden feel magical, as did the many birds who visited including a familly of swallows. A short trip (about 2 miles) down to the village of Santa Rosalía provided a good supermarket (open every day), cafes, and restaurants. Thank you Alicia and Jorge - you are very special people and we will definitely be back to visit you and Casueña.

Anna was responsive, pleasant and easy to deal with. The apartment/villa is on 1 level with 2 small bedrooms/2 bathrooms It was very clean with a lovely modern kitchen and comfortable lounge with a big TV. There is a slight view of the sea. The outside area is private and well equipped for eating. Apart from the weekend the area was quiet and peaceful and there is a decent supermarket within a 5 minute walk/2 minute drive Linen, towels, toilet paper, bin bags provided Slight negatives: the pool is very small; it was possible to hear the adjoining neighbours through the walls (although it did not disturb us); Google could not find the property (although Waze did); the street and parking space are very narrow - we had a small SUV (Seat Arona) and just manged to get in, anything larger would need to park around the corner; the door (which has no handle) needs to be pulled towards you, with the key, at the same time as turning the key to release the latch, before pushing the door open

We stayed as a family with two kids and that was very easy to do! Cynthia arranged a crib for our three-month-old baby at no extra cost. High chair not present, but it was not necessary. Everything looked very good, actually even better than in the photos. A downside was the swimming pool which has few shade spots, but Cynthia can't help that. Really very close to the beach, only beach we found a little less child-friendly and clean. We went on recommendation to cabopino, rented loungers at Cacoa beach bar, highly recommended. Everything went very well! The view is beautiful, you feel great in the apartment which is very clean and well-equipped. The residence is very quiet and very clean. Frankly nothing to say! We'll be back very soon. Roberto was always available to answer any questions I had, thank you. I recommend the apartment!

Fantastic apartment with a great view. Beautiful terrace with sunbeds, a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher. The apartment was very fresh and clean. Communication with Kes went smoothly. We were allowed to stay a little longer the last day, which was great! Car parking on private property is also nice, because you do need it.

We had a very comfortable 4 week stay at Yulias apartment,it was very clean and very central for all of the shops and restaurants in the area. The apartment had everything needed for a relaxing stay. The beach with long walks on the board walk was 5 minutes away with many lovely chiringuitos to choose from. Public transport is very close with regular buses to Marbella or Malaga. Would highly recommend this apartment to anyone wanting a stay in Calahonda.

Everything was very well coordinated in advance and check-in was very easy and good. The apartment is very nice and tastefully furnished, the location is very good and the view is simply wonderful. I felt very comfortable and thank Christian and Alfonso for the always friendly support.

You will not regret your stay here. Beautiful, clean apartment in great surroundings. All the amenities you need in a perfect space with restaurants in walking distance and a beautiful boardwalk perfect for your morning steps. Mara is one of the best Airbnb hosts I've come across. extremely helpful with great response time and nothing would be too much trouble. We wouldn't hesitate to return!

We had a wonderful stay! Communication with Lasse was smooth and easy from the beginning. The apartment is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and everything feels brand new. The kitchen is perfectly equipped with everything you could need. A real highlight is the amazing pool on the huge private terrace — just perfect for relaxing. The whole complex is very new and stylish, with two lovely pools and great spaces to hang out. The location is also very nice: quiet, peaceful, and ideal for a relaxing getaway. Thank you so much !

Loved our stay at Jesus’ place - it is beautifully presented and even better in person than in the pictures. Had everything we needed and appreciated the extra touches like water, crisps cans of drink etc on arrival - very thoughtful. The place is a great location - equal distance to old town and puerto banus so not too expensive by cab either way. The terrace is so gorgeous with lovely views and the pool is also lovely, clean and quiet. We will definitely be coming back.

Apartment and views are beautiful and exactly as per the pictures. We had to contact Karen a couple of times and she was really helpful and responsive. As you arrive, the apartment building is on a really busy road and we weren’t able to park so then had to circle back round and do (what felt at the time with kids and suitcases) a long walk from the car via the busy road to get to the apartment. But soon forgotten once inside. You have the most beautiful views over the sea and beach and such a lovely apartment with everything you need. We spent everyday on the beach and it felt really safe for our family. The boardwalk along the coast is lovely for a stroll, though for evenings we preferred taking the 20min drive to Mijas Pueblo. It’s a beautiful, sleepy mountain town and we found the food way better. Great stay and base with the best views for a relaxing beach holiday.

Absolutely loved Luis's place! I was greated by Luis and his wife who were lovely and provided lots of useful information. The place itself is even nicer than the photos and the location is perfect. Highly recommended!

Lovely penthouse with amazing terrace. We also appreciated the comfortable bed the silence at night. Best of all were Shauna and Susan. We particularly valued the personal welcome. To top it all, they provided us with torch, water and powerbank when power was 6 hours down.

The apartment was in a great location, with amazing views. Walkable to a lot of great restaurants and there is a little supermarket next door which is perfect for supplies. Host was extremely responsive and very helpful.

The spacious apartment captivates with a great location directly on the sea. The large balcony overlooking the water is extremely impressive and invites you to linger. It is absolutely quiet, so you can only listen to the waves completely relaxed. The residential complex includes three pools overlooking the sea and sunbeds. The apartment is fully equipped, nothing was missing. A supermarket can be reached in a few minutes - also on foot. Nearby right on the beach is a bar /restaurant where you can eat excellent food. We really liked the developed hiking trail along the beach, where you can walk to the Dunas de Artola, for example. Even though the sea was still very refreshing in mid-April, we were always happy to go swimming for a short time. We also used the apartment for great excursions to Malaga, Seville, Mijas and the Caminito del Rey. It was a very successful holiday.
