For example, the romantic bench from the popular movie "The Fault in Our Stars" is right on our doorstep. You are within a few minutes' walk of the Anne Frank House, the Rijksmuseum and the Vondelpark. But Amsterdam's bustling nightlife is also around the corner, with plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance.

The house is a 10 minute walk from the city centre of Alkmaar and 7 minutes to the train station. The train can take you directly to Amsterdam in 35 minutes. A return train ticket costs roughly €20 Alkmaar is an old Dutch city just like Amsterdam but smaller. Enjoy the canals great food and cozy atmosphere

The B&B is located in Blokker: a small village in the province of Noord-Holland, located near the historic port cities of Hoorn and Enkhuizen. Our cozy B&B is centrally located in the head of North Holland. Because of this location we are very easy to reach both by car and by public transport. The cottage is completely private in a very large garden with its own sunny terrace. Make use of all facilities offered including digital TV & internet. The lodge is located approximately 10 km from the beach and you can also make many nice trips. Visit Enkhuizen, the cheese market in Alkmaar or take the train to Amsterdam.

Unique Dutch Miller’s House

Stay in a traditional Dutch Miller’s Cabin beside an authentic 1632 windmill, surrounded by canals and nature in the North Holland countryside. Hand built during the windmill’s restoration, the cabin offers a peaceful and unique stay while still being close to Alkmaar and only 40 minutes from Amsterdam by train. I am a traditional Dutch miller born and raised in Alkmaar, and my American wife, Kelly, and I enjoy sharing this special place with guests from around the world.

Akerdijk is located in Badhoevedorp and offers a garden, jetty with rowboat. The accommodation is 18 km from Zandvoort aan Zee and offers free WiFi and private parking. You have your own entrance and access to two floors. The apartment consists of 3 separate bedrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen and 1 bathroom. Amsterdam is 5 km from the apartment. The nearest airport is Schiphol Airport, 4 km from Akerdijk.
