Buitenhuysje de Roos has recently been completely renovated and is wonderfully quiet. The cottage is small but nice, about 55m2 and has 3 bedrooms. In 2022, our cottage was renovated, with a new bathroom, kitchen and cast floor. There is a fireplace and nice wooden veranda, where you can sit very privately, with beautiful views. Within 5 minutes, you can drive to Bergen or Schoorl, where you will find supermarkets, nice shops and restaurants. The dunes and forest are within walking distance, and by bike you can reach the beach in 20 minutes.

Pilotenhof

Here you are a farmer on an arable and livestock farm. The ultimate place for a few nights away from the hustle and bustle, where you have a cozy home at your disposal. You will experience the tranquility of the rural area, although you will hear and see the cows, chickens, pigs and machines. Own potatoes, onions and eggs are included in the price, according to stock. Breakfast & meat can be requested for an additional fee, see pictures. Relax in the hot tub (hot water bath without bubbles) that is always at a pleasant 37 degrees, and let the silence of the surroundings work on you. Enjoy the panoramic views over the bulb fields, take a walk on the beach (8 km away) or discover the tranquility of the countryside. Let all the hustle and bustle slip away from you and recharge yourself completely.

Hire our Yurt for a cosy camping, glamping or fun sleepover experience. A Yurt is a Mongolian nomad tent made of very natural materials such as wood and wool. This one is brand new, build up in May 2017. Inside you find everything you need, even a kitchen with a fridge. Enjoy your own hot-tub, little garden and porch with a nice few over the bulb fields. At 8 minutes driving you'll find the nearest beach of Groote Keeten.

Our B&B is located in the heart of Waarland, with Alkmaar, Schagen and Heerhugowaard are within cycling distance. It is a guest house for 4 people, suitable for a family with older children. There is no train station in Waarland, and there are no buses in the evening. Without a car, we may not be the right location. For stays longer than 5 days, a discount is given, but you must provide your own breakfast.
