Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Simon's Town

It is a second time we stayed at this specific place and will definitely return! It is an overwhelmingly positive experience in many-many ways.

We just left Cape Town and our stay at Gareth’s beautiful home overlooking the beach below. It was even better than the photos! We woke to an amazing view of the sun rise each morning! The beds are super comfy and the rooms bright and airy during the day. Such an incredible experience. We loved being south of downtown Cape Town with easier access to Boulders Beach and Cape of Good Hope. We could have enjoyed spending an entire week soaking it all in. We would recommend this home to anyone visiting. It was also super safe secluded on the hillside with a secure garage and gated pathway to the home and off the beaten path.

I had a great stay at Michelle's place. The cottage was fully and tastefully equipped with everything I could need for my 2 night stay. Their communication around the booking was excellent and they were all welcoming and helpful, without being intrusive. The location of the property was perfect for me, not far from the beach or the town.

Wat een prachtige locatie! Je komt er helemaal tot rust. Ook makkelijk bereikbaar dankzij de instructies van de host. Voor ons gezin met drie kinderen was het ook zeer ruim, iedere kamer voorzien van een eigen badkamer. Je kan zelfs douchen met zicht op de oceaan, helemaal zen. Ook de mooie tuin nodigt uit voor heel wat fijne aperitiefavonden. Dankjewel Andrea om deze magische plaats met ons te delen, we kunnen het iedereen aanraden!

This is near the end of a cul de sac, where you can walk along the wildlife reserve and down to the beach. It is a quiet spot and a spacious, romantic house. Wonderfully kitted out kitchen, comfortable bed with new linens, and a lovely outdoor table and couch. You can also walk to all the restaurants and cafes from here. The garden is open to the sky with trees and succulents. There's no sea view from the patio but the birds and privacy make up for it, and I enjoyed many walks to the beach and hours spent on the patio to eat and write. Great coffee pot as well!

Best place we have stayed in Scarborough. Very peacefull. Walking distance to the Hub. Stunning walking trail up the mountain behind (Baskloof trail). The beds are extremely comfortable. Braaipit so well positioned that we could braai every evening even with a strong south easterly wind. We will be back…

Really great spot. Close enough to the sea to have beautiful views but far enough back to be away from tourists and traffic. A very comfortable, peaceful home set in a pretty, bird-full garden.

Fabulous place, location, and hosts. I highly recommend both. Kalk Bay is all charm. The apartment, top floor, has a wonderful view of the ocean and hills. Stunning. Easy secure walking into town. Lynne and Luiz are the best. The apartment is perfect in everyway: the bathtub overlooks the hills and with the sound of the ocean is all peace and comfort.

This serene and spacious apartment is bright, sunny and with a spectacular view over the harbour of Kalk Bay and False Bay. We love Kalk Bay and its walkability, restaurants, boho boutiques, and nearby natural ocean tidal swimming pools. This apartment is the answer!

Spacious apartment with everything we needed. Waking up, opening the curtains and watching the sun rise over the sea, whilst sipping a morning coffee was truly special. He best start to the day. A fantastic base to explore from and it was lovely to come back to and relax at the end of the day, felt very homely.

I had a wonderful stay! The place was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making everything smooth from check-in to check-out. The location was perfect—quiet but close to everything I needed. Would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at Philipp’s place was fantastic. From the moment we booked, we could tell Philipp was an exceptional host. His communication and care were outstanding. When we arrived, he welcomed us personally, helped with our bags, and gave us a mini tour along with much-appreciated coffee recommendations. One detail I especially loved was the beautiful handbook he’s put together with thoughtful restaurant recommendations and personal notes. It was such a lovely touch and really shows how much care he puts into creating a wonderful experience for his guests. Once we settled in, I have to say: impressed is an understatement. I can be quite particular, and this was truly an excellent stay. The apartment is tastefully decorated, with high-quality appliances and thoughtful complimentary touches throughout. I had an amazing stay at my time in 3015. Marius was a welcoming host and we were met with the room in excellent condition. The room perfectly matched the pictures and exceeded my expectations. We felt safe, had a great view and were comfortable. Definitely will stay here again!

5-star stay. Nothing could prepare me for the spectacular views of Table Mountain reserved just for us on the rooftop. Very central in a great location. Brandon went above and beyond to ensure that we had all that we needed and we were able to leave our luggage before flying out. I wish we could have booked more days to stay here!

What a great spot with easy access to the beach or pools. In winter, you have the ever changing sea views but due to the recessed position less noise. It was a relaxing sanctuary after our work days and Liz was an attentive hostess, arranging an easier parking for our large car … For those who struggle with mobility there are steps to the well appointed unit.

Had a great stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was convenient, and check-in was smooth. Anna is very responsive. Definitely recommend and would stay again!

I’d book this again in a heart beat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Ruth’s apartment. Charmingly decorated and beautifully sunny which made us feel right at home. A lovely little deck for early morning coffees and late afternoon drinks. Enjoyed waking up in the mornings to the mountain views from the kitchen and lounge areas and even enjoyed hearing the scholars being dropped off for school ( a school close by). Apartment was equipped with all we required. After a day out and about we loved returning to our little home for the week! Off street parking is provided as stated in listing - just to point out that it is a bit steep, but manageable. Thank you Ruth - we hope to be back! Best wishes, Antoinette and Dana
