Dream and charming place, amazing views and very well equipped. the garden and the terraces are magical. the house has been refurbished with very high standards, like a family home. the lake is to be seen from every widow, from a peaceful small village. it is important to note that you need to be in shape as there are a short uphill climbing for a few minutes from the parking lot, but it worth every effort!!! and eva is very kind, many thanks for the great holiday !!

Great house with ideal floor plan (sleeping area separate from living area). In a quiet neighborhood just outside Lugano and yet you can get to the city very quickly. The house was very clean upon our arrival. Very comfortable beds, extraordinarily comfortable.

The photos do not do this beautiful little spot justice. We were met by Antonio's mother who lives nearby and she showed us around the house. The house had everything we needed, including towels and blankets for our 2 dogs. The view from the balcony and sitting room is outstanding. The house is situated outside of the hustle and bussle of towns like Menaggio but there is a bus and a ferry that will take you there, just a short walk away. There is also a corner shop as well as a pharmacy 200m away and a few minutes drive or bus trip to a supermarket. There are lovely beaches and walks nearby as well as lovely cycle routes. Antonio and his mother were excellent at communicating with us. We loved the unique features of the house particularly the shutters and coat rack. We will definitely be back! If you looking for a welcoming homely house away from the busy crowds, but close enough to get to the sights, that has a beautiful view and an enclosed garden you won't be disappointed.

We spent a fantastic week of relaxation in this magnificent chalet surrounded by greenery and nature, equipped with all comforts and privacy, everything tidy and clean and above all completely fenced, the view was spectacular and the area was quiet and quiet. My 3 little dogs appreciated the greenery that surrounds the house, being able to remain free and safely, we were welcomed by Elisa in a punctual and friendly way. Thank you Fabrizio

An absolutelly beautiful place to stay! The area of Vezio is a climb away from Varenna, the climb is steep and will take awhile, but so worth it. But it might not be easy for everyone. The house was wonderfull, with all the necessities you’d need. And the yard, so green and lovely. The views from the house and the yard were amazing, you could see the mountains and the Como lake. There were some problems with electricity, but we were staying in Vezio during a thunder storm, so it could be expected. Catarina stayed in touch with us for the whole stay, so what ever problems we had, we got quick responses. Varenna and Vezio are easily the most beautifull places to stay in the area. I would definatelly recommend this place for a holiday destination.

Beautiful location but a bit noisy streets around the house. The house was perfect with kids and great to go and eat t the nearby places.

Our stay here was incredible! The views are unmatched. It was very affordable compared to other places in the area. It perfectly accommodated 8 of us each having a bed to sleep in. Deborah is very responsive and helpful! There are some restaurants that are walking distance but you almost have to have a car for this area! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful villa in Varenna. Very close to ferry dock and short walk from train station. Awesome views and short walk to town center with restaurants. Very comfortable for family of 5. Host was very responsive. Would definetly stay there again.

We had an amazing time! Our kids (teens) absolutely loved the area. It's right in front of the lake and has nice restaurants walking distance. They were able to integrate with the locals and play soccer. The house is on the older side and has no air conditioning. So that was tough but overall the view and the environment made the sweats worth it. We'll come back next year.

it was a super nice area, quiet. by car fifteen minutes from como lake. the house was beautiful, a veranda with a great view of the mountains and it was also pleasant to stay if it was too hot outside. we felt right at home. the family was extremely welcoming, they are ready to help you with all kinds of questions. even when we had to go to the hospital they helped us well. for anyone looking for peace and a beautiful area, we highly recommend this airbnb

The house of Stefania was just perfect! Beautiful views over Como lake and the house has just what you need. It was great for our dog who enjoyed the big fenced garden. Stefania also picked is up before entering the small road to the house which was very helpful as we arrived when it was already dark.

Great hostess and fantastic place. Access for larger vehicles like a VW transporter is not an option but can park near by. Spectacular views from the balcony all day everyday, perfect for an aperol or a vino rosso.

This stay was wonderful. Modern, clean, peaceful villa, fabulous view. Stefania was ultra responsive, answered all my questions and there was even an Easter egg for my 3 year old son when we arrived! Perfect and thank you for this idyllic stay, we plan to come back soon :D

Carlotta and Guilia were incredible AirBNB hostesses!! I loved Villa Maria Laura from the listing photos, but it was even more breathtaking in person. I had asked if the Villa could accommodate my wedding proposal, and they went above and beyond helping me accomplish exactly the proposal I’d envisioned by providing early check-in, ease of access for my photographer etc, and an amazing private dinner. Even after the engagement, the stay at Villa Maria Laura was magical. Guilia came each morning to bring us fresh pastries and was always available through text whenever we needed anything. We loved it so much, we want to come back for our honeymoon too! Thank you so so much for the best AirBNB we have ever stayed in! This villa and its two lovely hostesses will always be in our hearts and memories ❤️
