Fantastic property in a great location. We loved how private it felt whilst still only being a short hop to breath taking locations. The pool is outstanding and everything is clean and catered for. If you want to visit a beautiful place, receive a wonderful warm welcome and be sad to leave then this is the place for you!

A big thank you to Sylvette for hosting us and for her discretion. A peaceful place to gather in peace and quiet and enjoy the cottage and private pool! The location is perfect between Perigueux and Bergerac! Thanks again to Sylvette and I would fully recommend the cottage.

Firstly the hosts were responsive from the moment we booked to right through to check out. It helps they live on-site so when we had questions/issued Tas was with us instantly. The house has an incredible wow factor, and the heated pool and outside setting was to die for. Perfect for a general pool party / bbq party. What we especially liked as 3 couples with babies and toddlers, Tas has a “just like home approach” meaning we were not at all worried about the kids. The house is well equipped and had 3 high chairs and cots (with matresses). The bedrooms are wonderful and beds very comfortable, for an old house even the shower pressure was good. This region is rural so with water nearby do expect the usual flies/bugs/mozzie. That said, I was not biten all week and there were ample citronella aids (raid) left in kitchen for us along with a welcome hamper. Hosts are English and cater for a UK audience very well. Noise was never a problem and we felt at ease al week.

This beautiful Gite was perfect for us. We loved the peaceful location, the well kept grounds and the beautiful pool area which we only sometimes shared with the 2 occupants of the smaller gite. Often, we had it to ourselves. Chris and Debbie were really lovely and helpful with lots of recommendations- from markets to local restaurants. They set up a private chat group when we arrived so they could be on call if required and pass on any useful information. Debbie arrived at our door one day as we headed out for a trip with a cool box, which was a lovely gesture . On another day, she arrived at the pool with a jug of chilled sangria. Their lovely friendliness contributed to our enjoyment of this property. As someone who is often a gourmet buffet for local insect life, the mosquito nets over the beds were very welcome. Our girls loved the grounds, including the swing next to the gite, although the pool made it for them. We would happily recommend it to everyone we know.

Also, although we were not able to meet Dominique,we spoke by phone and message ,she was always very responsive,gave good advice and available when needed! In addition, the accommodation is set back from an axis,quiet and quiet guaranteed ,not to mention the pool +++

Accommodation in a very peaceful and quiet environment. The house has lots of charm, and the unoverlooked heated pool is lovely. The house was very clean as well as the linens. Self check-in and checkout, which went very well. If you have any questions, Emmanuel is very responsive. Only small downside, for a house intended for 6 people only 3 stem glasses and the space in the living room is not intended for 6 people. Otherwise the rest is perfect!

We will happily come back for several days to enjoy the surroundings and the place because the house is very nice. Cécile is welcoming.

Very good stay, Aurore and Stéphane are very kind, smiling, responsive, and both give ideas for visits. We saw a little more often Stéphane who was very good tips on outings (like the best place for the bike☺️), and we were able to enjoy a walk (a little muddy but excellent) in the forest with the new mountain bikes (extra price of course). The sheep are right next door, excellent for children (they were even able to change them from "garden"), slide, swing, petanque court, ping-pong table... In short, everything is there for the days when we don't want to go out for a walk.

Amazing house, great host! Nothing to complain about! Perfect for a weekend with friends at the heart of the countryside. A total change of scenery.

The house was as described and very comfortable. It’s set in a very peaceful location but not far from amenities and picturesque bastide towns. Owners are next door but respect your privacy and helpful if needed. Kaya the dog is super!

My husband and I spend a wonderful time at Iris place. It was a wonderful experience to enjoy this beautiful historic home to ourselves and specially the peace and tranquility, views and wonderful home that lend itself for entertainment. We cooked, we enjoyed the pool, we talked along the vines, visited wonderful chateau's and wonderful towns and restaurant with a short drive. We look forward to come back soon with our entire family!

I came to rest, I had a great time at Lina and Laurent's, the accommodation is impeccable, functional and tastefully furnished. Access to the beautiful pool is a real plus! We had a great family stay at Sandrine's house. The place is perfect for a family, the house is spacious, very pleasant and very well located, on foot from the city center of Perigueux. I highly recommend it!

We really enjoyed our stay. Marion was very helpful and friendly. Easy to communicate with. Really lovely house, lots of space & character, very well equipped, lots of garden space and pool area. The house is very private, close to town and a good sized super market with in walking distance, although would suggest a hire car for convenience and sight seeing etc. If pressed to make any negative comment, it would be that there is some road noise when outside, we live where there is none, so it was noticeable to us. It would not put us off returning.

Our weekend was great! Nelly is very nice, communication is very simple frankly it's very easy! The house was clean, true to the photos, nice, quiet… Perfect for my birthday weekend! Beautiful and very cozy house with a beautiful pool. Perfect setting to relax with the family, around the vines and located by car to Saint Emilion, or Pomerol for wine lovers. We had a great stay, thank you to our host Christophe for his excellent welcome and sympathy!

A real gem, this spacious and beautiful house had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. The village itself is very quiet, but only a short drive from Langon where there are local amenities. Nathalie was very helpful and friendly throughout.

I was traveling with my colleague for work, Jean-Claude showed me around the space and explaining how it works. The kitchen is very well equipped and we had enough to prepare breakfast on site, a big thank you for this generosity! The house is spacious, the place is very peaceful and quiet, which is nice. There is space to park 2 cars in front of the house and there are 2 car parks very close to the house. Jean-Claude was responsive and responded to our messages quickly. i recommend it!
