Lovely, welcoming casita for two in the tranquil Andalucian countryside. This is truly a place to unwind and relax. Walking and cycling tracks direct from the door. The village is 5 minutes drive away with 3 bars, serving delicious food. 15 minutes away is the lovely town of Huercal-Overa where you can find all amenities including supermarkets, restaurants and beautiful architecture in the old town where you can while away many an hour with a drink and tapa. I spent two weeks in Daniel's apartment in Puerte de Mazarro and felt completely comfortable. The apartment is very bright, clean and well equipped - nothing is missing. Particularly impressive is the view of the harbor and the bay, which you can enjoy thanks to the large fully-opening window fronts, some even from the bed and the bathroom. Several small stairs lead to the different living areas - for me with a new knee joint, it is doable, but you should be aware of it. The location on the mountain brings great views, but also the need for a car. There is also a footpath to the harbor, but with many stairs. The host was available at all times and very helpful. I can fully recommend the apartment!
