Vacation rentals with beach access in Sicily

Fabio’s place was lovely, full of character & charm with views of the water. Having the washing machine was a real plus. The location was great for walking to restaurants & the pedestrian zone, easy access to the port for ferries & a good base to visit Erice which is a must. He was a wonderful & responsive host, giving us many helpful recommendations!

Lovely apartment right at the heart of this beautiful coastal town. Large balcony gets the sun all day. Apartment is fully equipped with everything you might need. We had a very enjoyable stay! Could use a couple more pillows on the bed and a couple of loungers on the balcony.

Wir haben unsere Hochzeit auf Sizilien gefeiert und Robins Apartment war die perfekte Wahl für unsere Unterkunft. Vom ersten Moment an haben wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Wohnung entsprach exakt den Bildern und war makellos sauber. Robin hat uns herzlich empfangen, stand uns mit tollen Tipps zu Ausflügen und Restaurants zur Seite und hat sich immer wieder nach unserem Wohlbefinden erkundigt. Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit auf Sizilien und unvergessliche Flitterwochen. Mit einem lachenden und einem weinenden Auge sind wir nach Hause zurückgekehrt – aber eines steht fest: Wir kommen wieder! Vielen lieben Dank, Robin, für alles!

Wij zijn 6 nachten in het appartement van Giselda en Colin geweest. Heel fijn dat we werden opgewacht bij het tankstation beneden, zodat we achter hen aan naar boven konden rijden. Prima appartement, met terras waar je een prachtig uitzicht hebt. De zee is hemelsbreed maar 800 m maar zonder auto is het zwaar. Wij reden naar beneden waar we via een pad een leuk klein strandje bereikten met uitzicht op Cefalú. Appartement is goed geoutilleerd.. we hebben niet gekookt maar alles is er om dat wel te doen. Vaatwasser en wasmachine zijn er wat erg fijn was. Naast Cefalú zijn er veel mooie plaatsten te bezoeken die moeite waard zijn, waaronder: Castelbuono, Santa Stefano di Camastra, Castel di Tusa en andere. Zeker aan te raden

Die Lage der Wohnung direkt am feinen Sandstrand ist einmalig. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig, gemütlich eingerichtet (sehr bequeme Betten) und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub benötigt. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns das große Angebot an Mobiliar auf der Terrasse (Esstisch mit zusätzliche Loungeecke, 3 Liegestühle, 5 kleine Klappstühle zum Sitzen am Strand). Die direkte Umgebung ist sehr ruhig, aber in 3-4 Autominuten gibt es kleine und größere Geschäfte, Restaurants, Eisdiele etc. Ein Spaziergang am Strand entlang bis in den Ort ist in ca. 15 Minuten gut möglich. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war sehr schnell und freundlich. Es gab klare Wegbeschreibungen und hilfreiche Informationen für den Check-in. Zur Begrüßung gab es Kaffee, Wasser und Mandelgebäck :) Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Wohnung auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Alessandro’s place was comfortable for us. The location is excellent but be aware that his street is under construction so you cannot drive up to the building, if you arrive by car. Hopefully this will finish up soon. It was very quiet at night.

Salvatore is a perfect host. He was extremely welcoming. He kindly informed us on the day of our arrival that the apartment would be ready earlier and was there to greet us. The flat was immaculately clean, had all the things we needed, including a lovely roof terrace. We loved the colourful furniture matching the beautiful tiled floors. It was a pleasure to hear about the family connection and history of the house. One of the big advantages was the car park as parking in Cefalù is not easy. The apartment is quiet and only a short walk to the historic centre. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and highly recommended Salvatore’s home.

Great location, lots if space and nice views. Two bathrooms is convenient. Well equipped kitchen. Friendly host.

We stayed for four weeks in march. We had a great time, we fell in love with the place and their lovely dog Fiocco who is very sweet, also to children. Therèse and Viviana were very kind and helpful when we had questions. The house is situated in the middle of a large lemon grove and a daily stroll to the sea (it's a pebble beach) is greatly recommended. The nearby village San Stefano di Camastra is great for an ice cream and a coffee. We expected more hikes to be near, as it is located right next to Nebrodi but finding and reaching hotspots (hiking or otherwise) was ultimately harder than expected. We encountered this across Sicily though and is not related to the house itself. Our children loved to roam around the premises and find their own little adventures. All in all, we had a great relaxed stay and felt in tune with rural Sicily.

Absolut fantastische Lage mit wunderschönem Blick auf das Meer und die umliegenden Hänge mit viel Natur!Trotz Abgeschiedenheit sind Restaurants, Tabaccio und kleine Souvenirläden fußläufig (800m) erreichbar. 2Km entfernt gibt es eine absolut leckere Cafetteria und den Scopello Market! Auch ein schöner Strand ist fußläufig (5 Min) erreichbar. Vincenzo ist ein sehr hilfsbereiter und freundlicher Gastgeber. Da wir in der Nebensaison (Anfang April) da waren und es vor allem abends recht kalt war, mussten wir das heiße Wasser fürs Duschen etwas aufteilen, da dies schnell aufgebraucht war. Einziger Minuspunkt den wir unterschätzt hatten, war, dass man sich die Einfahrt mit den Nachbarn teilt. Wenn diese zur gleichen Zeit anwesend sind, ist die Privatsphäre (wenn man die Terrasse nutzen möchte) sehr eingeschränkt. Grillen ist leider nicht erlaubt, was wir sehr schade fanden.

Wij hebben de verjaardag van mijn man en de feestdagen in de comfortabele villa van Fulvio doorgebracht en er een heerlijke periode genoten. Het huis was heel schoon en ruim en de benoemde voorzieningen waren aanwezig. Er is een restaurant (Graffiti) op loopafstand van het huis, maar voor de overige voorzieningen, zoals een supermarkt en dergelijke, zou ik toch een huurauto adviseren. Een aanrader is Mondello beach, zelfs in de winterperiode is het er goed vertoeven. Palermo stad ligt op zo'n 20 autominuten vanaf de villa en het vliegveld op ongeveer 25 minuten met de auto. Er zijn diverse (historische) bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving, dus je hoeft je er niet te vervelen. Fulvio zelf is erg behulpzaam en reageerde heel vlot wanneer we een vraag hadden. Wij zouden deze plek en host absoluut aanraden.

What an amazing location! The house is exactly as described -quiet, right on the beach, all amenities as listed. Miki gave us recommendations for the area. Overall a wonderful trip!

We recommend highly Salvatore’s apartment for getaway vacation. It was raining during our stay so we didn’t walk to the local restaurants -Salvatore took us to large grocery store for supplies.We took taxi and Uber to get Palermo even though we had an auto. Salvatore greeted us ( waited for us because we got caught in a rain storm coming from the Valley of the Temples) He showed us the apartment and guided us on our plan to explore the area-This apartment is a great base to explore Palermo and the area this side of Sicily. We wished had more time in this area.Salvatore was a very respectable and responsive host.

Great place, certainly designed to enjoy in hotter weather so outside areas can be enjoyed and not put away with the wind as was the case with us! Unfortunately came on a stormy weekend beyond everyones control. Recommend hiring a car if staying with Maia, only 15 min walk from train station but area isn’t particularly pedestrian friendly and trains arent too often/didnt run past 9pm. But none of this the hosts fault, an oversight by myself. Thanks for having us, seeing the ocean from the bedroom was definitely a highlight!

We spent three nights at Paolo’s place, We highly recommend it, Communication was great, the house is very clean, freshly painted, it has all you need to stay comfortably. Paolo is an exceptional host, he greeted us in person and came again upon our departure. He was very helpful with giving us suggestions about places to visit and eat. What a wonderful time we had at the Pearl of Sicily!! This stunning private villa has a beautiful sandy beach on your door step!! With the added bonus of a beautiful pool!! The villa was spotless inside and out! Antonion is an outstanding host, always quick to respond and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Counting the days to come back to the pearl of Sicily ❤️

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Sonnenaufgang auf der Terrasse und der Ausblick ein Traum. Angelo hat sich schnell und gut gekümmert und auch einen sehr freundlichen Fahrer für den Transfer vom und zum Flughafen organisiert. Auf dem Europaplatz vor dem Haus ist auch Nachts einiges los, aber dank der Höhe der Wohnung ist das nicht störend. Die Nahverkehrsanbindung ist dank des Bahnhofs „Europa“ und AMTS-Bussen (die allerdings hin und wieder einfach vor dem Eintreffen an der Haltestelle - obwohl angekündigt - verschwinden und man so deutlich länger warten muss) gut. Auch eine U-Bahn Station ist in der Nähe. Um Catania kennen zu lernen muss man also kein Auto ausleihen. Einen Tipp von dem netten Transfer-Fahrer geben wir gerne weiter. Pasticceria Verlora & Bonvegna, Via Asiago 60 (also ganz in der Nähe). Unbedingt hingehen: Ein Törtchen-Genussparadies!

Som alle andre besøgende har skrevet er udsigten perfekt, Maria er meget informerende og havde indkøbt forskellige madvarer. Eneste ting som jeg ikke synes at andre gæster nævner er at bygningen som lejligheden ligger i trænger til en stor istandsættelse.

Der Check-In erfolgte problemlos nach vorheriger Absprache. Salvatore hat uns persönlich empfangen und alles gut erklärt. Er ist sehr freundlich und immer leicht zu erreichen. Obwohl die Gastgeber gleich nebenan wohnen, ist die Privatsphäre zu jeder Zeit gegeben. Das Apartment ist sehr geräumig, die Küche bestens ausgestattet und alles sehr sauber. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Villa an sich ist traumhaft schön. Auf der Terrasse ist man von zahlreichen mediterranen Kübelpflanzen umgeben und hat einen direkten Blick aufs Meer. Obwohl sich zahlreiche Restaurants, Cafés und Bars in unmittelbarer Nähe befinden, haben wir am liebsten auf „unserer“ Terrasse gesessen und die Abendstimmung genossen. Nach Tages- Ausflügen ist es außerdem sehr angenehm, sich am „Privatstrand“ zu entspannen und ein Bad im Meer zu nehmen. Liegestühle, Sonnenschirm, Luftmatratze, alles ist vorhanden. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und kommen jederzeit gerne wieder. Vielen Dank an Salvatore!

Une des meilleures si ce n’est LA meilleure location que j’ai faite sur AIR BNB. Leti a vraiment été super accueillante et très utiles dans ses conseils et ses propositions de services annexes (transport aéroport, bagages, etc.) L’appartement est idéalement situé en front de mer dans le Mondello historique dans un coin très calme. Il est vraiment spacieux et fonctionnel et très bien orienté (le soleil le matin sur le balcon, c’est le rêve) avec une vue sur la baie 😍. Si je reviens à Mondello, c’est sur je rappelle Leti !

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft- das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist wirklich top! Die Gastgeberin war super freundlich und hilfsbereit, wir haben uns gleich willkommen gefühlt. Die Lage ist dem Preis absolut angemessen: schöner Meerblick, auch wenn die Unterkunft an der Straße liegt (ab und zu hört man Autos). Restaurants sind fußläufig erreichbar, was wir sehr praktisch fanden. Ein kleiner Punkt zur Verbesserung wäre das Badezimmer- das könnte teilweise erneuert werden. Ansonsten war alles weitere super und wir würden gerne wieder kommen!

We had a wonderful stay at Enricos apartment. There was plenty of space for the 4 of us to (a family with 2 boys 10 & 13) be very comfortable. The location is absolutely perfect with just a short walk to beautiful and affordable bars and restaurants. Panificio Bakery below the apartment was the real Cherry on top when it came to having beautiful fresh pastries for breakfast on the spacious balcony. For those interested in the Culture & History of the Island Enrico provided perfect information of how to get there etc and was always very responsive if we needed a little help via text message. Mondello is an excellent base for a holiday to Sicily with good transport links everywhere. Finding free local parking close to the apartment for our hire car was easy. We give Enrico & his apartment 10/10 for everything and would definitely use it again. Thank you, Enrico, for everything.

We loved the Island of Favignana. Patrizia place was perfect. It felt like home. very clean, well stocked for cooking. She greeted us and was always available if needed. Very convenient to walk into the town centre only a few minutes. Highly recommend anyone to stay in Patrizia place.

To wake up to this view is just wonderful and it is great to just walk out the back garden door and be on the beach! The 2 of us were here early May and the beach was basically empty because it was off-season, so it was really relaxing to chill out and swim. It didn't matter that it is a bit small because the balcony is big and is great for breakfast while watching and listening to the waves. The roof terrace above is HUGE; great for watching gorgeous sunsets and the starry night sky. Roberto met us at check-in and explained everything we needed to know about the place and gave us great tips about the area. From here we took day trips around the west coast to amazing ruins and the cities/towns close-by. There is no parking on the property but the parking lot is just 1 minute away. There is delicious seafood restaurant on the beach by the parking lot. If you want a relaxing beach front apartment and have rented a car, this is a great place to stay. Thank you Roberto! :-)
