Vacation rentals with breakfast in Sicily

I spent a wonderful month in this location - it's clean and comfortable with good wifi for remote working - perfect for what I was after. Maria is a wonderful host who is always responsive and cleaned the place once a week while leaving me nice things for breakfast! She even gave me a lift to and from Catania (c.10km) with my heavy suitcase. Trecastagni is a pleasant town on the slopes of Etna with accessible supermarkets and other essential shops as well as a some nice bars and restaurants and several churches. This location is better for those with private vehicles as the buses to/from Trecastagni are somewhat unreliable and it is a walk of several miles to the nearest train station (Acireale). However for those with vehicles it offers good access to Etna as well as other attractions in the area such as Catania and Acireale.

We were there in March with our little baby. Everything was in bloom and we felt like we were in the Garden of Eden. It's very quiet, only a few times a day a train passes by. The dog is very trusting, especially with our baby. You can wonderfully spend whole days on the property: there is a small children's playground, a beautiful pool with views of the hills and fields, an olive grove, a vegetable and herb garden, a beautiful shady terrace, a barbecue area. A perfect place for us as a family, or for couples or friends. We had the whole place to ourselves - so if you're traveling alone, you have to like the solitude. :-) The Valle dei Templi in Agrigent is 40 minutes by car, as well as some beautiful beaches and the Scala dei Turchi. In short: a beautiful place with great value for money. Communication with the hosts was very easy.

We stayed one night here. Guiseppe welcomed us warmly and explained everything. He also gave us tips for the area, really great! The apartment is a bit older, but everything worked and it was clean. For breakfast, we were even provided with milk and other "sweet" things. By car, you can reach 10 minutes to the city and the salt mill can also be reached in approx. 15 minutes by car.

Our favorite place that we have stayed in Sicily. A retreat from the busy cities but close enough to go and see tourist attractions, the beach and eat wonderful food. We loved sitting quietly and reading as well as walking around the home and of course, the outdoor bbq. Perfect place to eat bbq sunset meals and listen to nature. We felt well cared for, the cottage had everything we needed, recommendations were excellent. Make sure to visit the bakery in Santa Rita! Caltanisetta was also a welcoming and beautiful place. Thank you so much, we hope to return and stay much longer!

We had a great stay at Valentina's place in Plemmirio. Beautiful surroundings and a very cosy home with a spacious terrace in the sun. Valentina was very responsive and helpful!

I couldn’t recommend Collesano and Francesco’s house more as a base for discovering this beautiful part of Sicily. If you want to experience the true, unspoiled, and touristically untouched Sicily — yet still be close to beautiful beaches — go for it! It’s a great base for exploring the Madonie National Park, enjoying affordable Italian food, and connecting with the warm and welcoming Sicilian people. Francesco was more than helpful with his advice, and the house is spacious, with a large terrace overlooking the rooftops of Collesano and the mountains. Can’t wait to be back!

We had a great time in Cefalu. A little bit outside of the crowded town, up the hill with a great view. Enjoyed it a lot!

great stay, well located place, great relationship with the owners. The place might need small maintenance that in no way had an impact on the stay.

We loved our stay here! The apartment ist super cozy and very clean and we felt very comfortable here. Roberta was amazing. She was very nice and super accommodating with early check in and late check out. She provided us with lots of snacks and drinks and took the time to give us some great restaurant and sightseeing tips. We definitely recommend staying here on your next trip to Catania!

We felt very comfortable! The apartment is in the center of Cefalu, which is why restaurants and bars can be reached very quickly. The kitchen is super equipped and for two you have a lot of space in the apartment. If we come back to Cefalu, we'll stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay, the apartment is right in the centre; plenty of restaurants. The apartment was clean and we had a warm welcome 😊 The only drawback is that the apartment is on the 3rd floor; you can only use the lift for the first floor only, it was not easy with the pushchair.

We loved our stay at Carlo’s. Check in was easy and he was responsive throughout our stay. The place was clean and private. The location was great, walkable to bars and restaurants.

Flawless accommodation as was Michele. The accommodation is located 2 steps from the center, clean, well organized and equipped with all comforts. Overall, we were very satisfied.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house! The location was perfect — close to restaurants, stores, and shops, which made everything super convenient. We especially loved the restaurant right upstairs — not only was the food great, but the view was beautiful too. The host was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. They even left us some items for breakfast, which was such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommended!

We loved Marikla's place. It was only ten minutes to Ortigia and there was plenty of parking, and right across from a grocery store. There was a beautiful bike path with stunning views of the sea. Three bedrooms were perfect for us and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was also great to have two full bathrooms!

Massimo was a great host. He met and showed us the parking spot he saved right outside the Airbnb, which is a great help and no stress parking. He was very helpful and showed us around the beautiful apartment and gave great advice of restaurants, bus schedule, etc. The apartment is large, extremely comfortable and clean. We appreciated the strong water pressure in the shower, as the last hotel we were in, there was a trickle of water. Also loved that Massimo provided coffee, milk, snacks, yogurts, and juice. Once we parked the car, it stayed there until we left. We walked down to town, and ended up taking a taxi back. $20. We could have taken the bus, but unfortunately we did not buy tickets ahead of time and the bus was full. If you want a certain return, you will need to purchase ahead of time. They did not allow paying bus driver. What can we say about that view from the apartment. It’s absolutely beautiful. Thank you Massimo

Superclass accommodation in Marsala to experience, for example, the sunset in the saltworks or a winery tour from there. The place was bigger than expected and super clean. At first, we were a little irritated to be part of the house, but we especially liked that in the end. The large garden with the (warm) pool could also be used. The reception was already super warm and this special kindness accompanied us the entire time. We felt more than comfortable and enjoyed the conversations very much. However, not for cat allergy sufferers, as approx. 20 cats run around the property. But that was also an enrichment….

The room was exactly as shown in the picures. We staues for one night in mid july. Ragusa Ibla is a cute romantic Spot with beautiful views, good restaurants and surprisingly not crowded. Had a great Stay at Emilio’s place. Would definetly come back!

Giuseppe was very kind and clear in the directions to get to the b&b, located in a very quiet and convenient area both for the center and for visiting the Valley of the Temples. Giuseppe recommended us where to eat and was always available, a highly recommended place!!

Great stay in a wonderful place, close to the sea and Zingaro reserve. Lovely host, delicious breakfasts, daily cleaned room. Definitely above expectations.

The town is a real peaceful and beautiful hidden gem and the apartment was great! very nice breakfast and amazing hospitality

Olga and Vivien were lovely, certainly the best hosts of our trip! Their hospitality is generous, warm, caring. We arrived a little late but were received like queens by Olga and the b*****s of the house. The place is quite amazing, it vibrates strong with lots of animals, plants, quiet, care! Olga cooks like a starry chef and brings a lot of joy and dynamism. Vivien is just as attentive, both are not lacking in humor and kindness:) They are rich in recommendation and experience. They are curious about their guests and take care of themselves as much as their place. They created a Bed & Breakfast in the noble sense of the word! This is a chance to cross their path. Giuseppe was immediately helpful even in a difficult situation and was super friendly and relaxed! In a lively city, a good place to relax - Furniture and architecture are something special - and Giuseppe too: always available - such great and versatile tips and also friendly and helpful in a difficult situation!!
