Vacation rentals with lake access in Sicily

Joseph’s place was great for us as two couples seeking a quiet villa with a pool just outside of town (and there was plenty of room, including beds and chairs, for many more people). Amenities were as listed, the top terrace and pool areas are amazing, check-in was very easy, and communication with Joseph was great too. The villa is secure and in a residential area with few shops, but there are plenty of nice places to eat and drink in Mazara del Vallo - including a couple of nice places just 10 minutes walk away at the seafront. We needed to hire a car as it became clear upon arrival that the local buses into town were not running as advertised, there was no regular taxi firm (only airport transfer taxis), and the walk into town or to a supermarket was around 45-60 mins - make sure to get charcoal for the barbecue!

The property has a great value for money, but Michele and his family's availability goes beyond just a financial discourse. They provided everything we needed. House with a great location, nearby has all the services that can serve you a vacation or work stay. A gem, the house perfectly keeps the cool, which in summer makes a difference. Highly recommended for both the area and the professionalism of Michele and family.

Unforgettable holiday. The house is right in the middle of the lovely country side, full of olive trees and wildlife. Giorgio and his wife Carmela were extremely helpful. Any questions we had were answered straight away. The property and the surroundings were better then expected, will definitely return. Very friendly neighbours (including their pets). Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

The house is in a wonderful place, surrounded by the nature of the island just a short distance from the sea. The house is decorated with an extremely simple and elegant taste and has all the comforts you can look for. The best part of the house is definitely the wonderful terrace overlooking the sea where you can organize wonderful dinners and admire a breathtaking Sunrise. Note of thanks to Ariane, an excellent owner of the house who immediately made us feel like true islanders !

Clean house and cared for in every detail. Perfect location to enjoy the sea in serenity while remaining not far from the center of Messina. Very kind and discreet owners, always ready to help if needed.

We stayed at Villa Paola for the entire month of August. Ennio and Salvatore are very welcoming, super quick in their communication and also very accommodating to our needs. The house is huge with all the amenities we needed for our staying. The position it’s of total isolation, with a perfect silence at night. You can stay there only if you have a car, since the closest beach it’s around 30 mins away. But still, if you are looking for a sacred place of solitude and tranquility, that’s the perfect place for you

the house is very nice and functional, everything is designed for a very nice stay. The sea view is beautiful and every night a different sunset... The beaches are nice and Cefalu and Castelnuovo are very nice towns to have a good evening. Car recommended to make the most of the stay. Thanks to Alessandro who is a very kind host and responds quickly to inquiries.

Luke's dammusi are comfortable, tastefully furnished and in a context of special peace and tranquility. The view of the sunrise fills the heart and the majolica and the details of the property make the stay really pleasant. Luke and his family were kind, helpful, and hugely helpful without ever being intrusive. I felt at home and absolutely recommend a stay in Luke's dammusi. I admit that the location imposes a lot of cars to reach centers or beaches but it is worth it without a doubt. The island is still quite small so or all easily reached

We had a very good time. Quiet village and a long long beach :) Communication with Irina was very good and fast.

Nice small apartment in the historic center with great view over the ocean from the private balcony. Basic furnishings. Centrally located in a busy bar/restaurant street. Still quiet at night. Only a short walk to the ocean and other sights. Would stay again!

The apartment is lovely and furnished with great care, in a very quiet location (5 min by car) but very close to the district of Scauri where you can find everything you need. Although it is located in a complex of many apartments, silence reigns, and the view of the sea from the terrace is priceless. The apartment is really small, ideal for two maybe a little limited for 3, but despite this it is very well organized and equipped with everything you need.

Donatella was an extremely kind, friendly and helpful host. Easy to contact, fast to reply, answered all the questions we had. She even did some research on her own time to help us get where we wanted to go in Sicily. Extremely helpful! The apartment was perfect. Clean, spacious, comfortable. Stocked with everything we could ever need (coffee, sugar, clean towels - even some fresh fruit and cold water in the fridge!). Located in a very nice and safe part of Palermo, only a few minutes to the city center by bus. Would recommend!

Super nice welcome by Alberto and his parents! The apartment and pool were both super clean. We slept very well as it was very peaceful and quite and there are mosquito nets on all windows and doors. We could easily wash our clothes which was very kind and helpful. Very recommendable accommodation! Thank you for the lovely stay, Alberto.

We had a very nice time at the Tenuta Carabollace, enjoying the beautiful place where each corner is carefully arranged, the great view and magical sand beach with very clean water 5 min from the house. Everything you need as a family with kids is offered at the place -from beach /pool toys to a washing machine and beautiful domestic animals. Can highly recommend the place and hope to be able to come back another time.

The accommodation offered an excellent, very nice starting point for exploring the diverse surroundings. Pools and overall a very nice well-kept complex invited us to linger. Communication with the hosts was very good. We would love to come back.

can't recommend this place enough! loved the little house that was very complete, the garden, the pool (we were there mid april and used it multiple times), the walk to the sea with al lot of wild flowers , the animals, the views.... Ignazio and his family are very friendly and the place feels very homely.

Antonio's family with Francesca and Ignatio are very friendly and loving hosts. We were welcomed with fresh water and lemon cake. The complex is familiar, private and very nice with plants, trees, flowers, fresh kitchen herbs, many cozy seating, outdoor kitchen, pool, table tennis, table soccer, ……. The unobstructed view over the countryside with olive groves, sunset, sea, convent on the rocks above Sciagga is wonderful. We spent 6 beautiful days there and spent time in the surrounding area with Erice, Marsala, Trapani and Selinunte. It is a short walk to the sea and the farm animals certainly delight not only every child's heart. We'd love to come back!
