Beach house vacation rentals in Sicily

We stayed for four weeks in march. We had a great time, we fell in love with the place and their lovely dog Fiocco who is very sweet, also to children. Therèse and Viviana were very kind and helpful when we had questions. The house is situated in the middle of a large lemon grove and a daily stroll to the sea (it's a pebble beach) is greatly recommended. The nearby village San Stefano di Camastra is great for an ice cream and a coffee. We expected more hikes to be near, as it is located right next to Nebrodi but finding and reaching hotspots (hiking or otherwise) was ultimately harder than expected. We encountered this across Sicily though and is not related to the house itself. Our children loved to roam around the premises and find their own little adventures. All in all, we had a great relaxed stay and felt in tune with rural Sicily.

nice holiday in early April 2025. The apartment is very nicely located, close to a beach. The south and west coast of Sicily are quite untouched and underdeveloped. You get a lot of tips from the host. He is always ready for you. We enjoyed visits to, among other things, selinonte, agrigento and sciacca. I recommend it! (as far as the shower is concerned: it is indeed somewhat inconvenient but there is plenty of hot (and hot) water. So not insurmountable). Grazie!

Domenico and his son Mirko are super hosts! They were always there for us and helped us with problems right away. The house has everything it needs and is very close to a beautiful beach. The garden is huge and beautiful - we spent almost all the time of our stay outdoors and felt very comfortable. Mirko was personally present at check-in and showed us everything. We were even allowed to arrive earlier in the day. The parking space right outside the front door is super convenient. The house is in a locked area and we felt very safe. All in all a great place to stay - clear recommendation !

we had a few trouble finding the place but no drama. The property is located in a small settlement and is accordingly quiet. For restaurants and supermarket you need the car. a small free beach is within walking distance and was nice and quite clean and offers to collect many mussels. will be happy to come back

What an amazing location! The house is exactly as described -quiet, right on the beach, all amenities as listed. Miki gave us recommendations for the area. Overall a wonderful trip!

What a wonderful time we had at the Pearl of Sicily!! This stunning private villa has a beautiful sandy beach on your door step!! With the added bonus of a beautiful pool!! The villa was spotless inside and out! Antonion is an outstanding host, always quick to respond and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. From the moment you drive into the parking area you feel very lucky. The outdoor space is well designed with multi areas to sit and relax. The outdoor kitchen is easy to work in and lets you enjoy the area. There are three lemon trees which you can enjoy a fresh lemon whenever you want. The inside is ever comfortable and the beds are comfortable and linens are crisp and white. You are in walking distance to stores with fresh fruit and a grocery store that lacks nothing. I highly recommend this location for a week or more holiday.

what can I say? Hosts are always kind and available for our requests. I also feel strongly about recommending the house to people who have a semi-ambulatory senior, few stairs and little street x the beach and if you do not want to go down you can enjoy the sea view even from home. I add that with the French door closed at night, you can't feel the night movement at all.

Great view and perfect place to stay for adventures on the island. It’s cosy and has all the facilities you need. Recommendation!

Very much enjoyed staying at Salvatore’s house. Everything was as described and looked just like the photos. Pristinely clean and well accommodated, it had everything we needed. The outdoor space in particular was very special and the pool was pristine.

Beautiful villa, wonderfull host and gorgeous location. Couldn't fault the villa, and our stay. Margarita helped us navigate to the villa when we arrived and work out the WiFi to keep the kids happy. Can't fault our stay. Thank you.

Roberto is a very welcoming host, he is very responsive and gave us some great recommendations in the area. He even brought us breakfast twice. The house has an unobstructed view of the sea with private access without sand space to settle in but with a small concrete terrace. We also enjoyed the outdoor terrace which is sheltered from the wind and where we spent very pleasant evenings. We had a good week in Sicily and the location very close to the airport (15 min) was a plus. The cities of Trapani, Palermo, Mondello, Segeste are easily accessible within 1 hour and Cefalu at 1h20.

This is a fantastic villa, located in an excellent position for exploring the North West and Palermo. The town of Balestrate has good shops and restaurants and a couple of nice beaches...but is just out of reach of walking (the villa is on a fairly hilly lane with no pavement) and so a car is needed. It's a 'real' town rather than a heavily touristed place, which we loved - the restaurant were busy with locals and very good value as a result. The hosts were super-responsive and sent lots of recommendations and useful info, and were particularly helpful when our car broke down! There is so much to see in this part of Sicily and it's only 30 mins drive from Palermo Airport.

The villa was absolutely beautiful and very well equipped. We particularly enjoyed the choice of outdoor areas and the pool. Sabrina was an extremely lovely and responsive host who made sure our stay was smooth. Arriving in Catania at 8am, we were able to do an early check-in which was much appreciated. Our children also appreciated the cats who came to say hi, it reminded us of ours :) We would definitely recommend Sabrina’s place.

We had a wonderful week here. The hosts were very welcoming. We had a couple of minor issues at the start which were resolved immediately. Emanuele is a very attentive host. The house, garden and pool provide a wonderful space to relax and unwind. Going in April, the pool was pretty cold but the kids got on with it and the parents treated it as an invigorating refresher! With Cefalu just down the road, the mountains behind, and Palermo an easy day trip, there’s plenty to do if you want to.

We had a wonderful time at Rosanna's beach house. Rosanna welcomed us warmly and we felt right at home. She gave us tips for activities and was always very accessible. The sea at your doorstep is beautiful and very suitable for small children.

Uncomplicated, lovable, caring, great hosts, we almost felt like part of the family - Gabriele, Ettore and Ettores mother, the good soul of the house, provided us several times with local delicacies and when the water was running out, a new 6-pack was already at the door, the same applies to the bedding - the host family is a well-established team that does everything in the background to make guests feel comfortable. Thank you!! The terrace is incredibly beautiful, I don't think there is anything comparable near Palermo, free parking right outside the door. The azure sea is right under the apartment, we were able to relax well and would like to come back, we found the hospitality in addition to this jewel of an apartment very special!

This was a beautiful Oasis on the southern coast of Sicily. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Marcello. he was extremely helpful and the property is very well stocked. This is a very special place that is serene and peaceful. We used it as our base of operations to visit various archaeological sites in the area and we're very happy to be able to return back here in listen to the ocean from the veranda. I will definitely return to this property if I am visiting southern Sicilia again.

Stay in the apartment is a real pleasure . The terrace is superb and the apartment very well furnished there is just the street to cross to be on a superb free and clean beach. We will be back!

An amazing getaway! A pristine, rustic, and cozy sicilian home nestled in a citrus and olive orchard with a 200 meter walk to the beach. Quiet, except for the birds and the occasional car. Full kitchen to cook what you learned at at a local cooking class and a great family run restaruant an few minutes walk away. Close to main roads for adventures out and a train station about a kilometer away if you prefer. The host was friendly and helpful with recomendations and understanding Sicily if it is your first time. He spoke English very well and a variety of other languages. This was a great location to live and breathe Sicillian culture and to have a quiet place to rest. Overall an amazing countryside stay that was still close to Cefalu and Palermo. Highly recommended!

Mauro and Caterina were both very kind, generous with their time and helpful. We loved the location as it was so peaceful. Beach bar at the end of the street, the dammuso is conveniently located between the port and Scauri. We rented a scooter and loved the ease it provided. We were warmly welcomed with a fridge full of drinks and pasta ingredients ready to go. Coming here felt very homey as it was well equipped and the little details were well considered. We loved Pantelleria and our stay with Mauro. A very proud local who leaves you with a local magazine full of gems to visit from the island. Great food recommendations too. We loved it! We will be back. Thank you for being so accomodating and generous!
