Beachfront vacation rentals in Shoreham-by-Sea

Kay's apartment was absolutely superb for us and she was such a great host. She was able to provide a travel cot and high chair at the last minute as silly grandparents had forgotten to pack them. It was no problem for Kay and she'd got it in position by the time we arrived, for which we were all extremely grateful. The apartment is located in a great spot with direct views over the estuary and Arun yacht club and a 5 minute walk from the beach and high st! We were greeted with a lovely basket containing sourdough bread, homemade biscuits, milk, jam, marmalade as well as plenty of tea bags, coffee & sugar! All the beds were comfortable as was the sofa and easy chairs in the lounge/diner. We all would recommend the local fish & chip shop Osca's as the food there was fantastic!

Beautiful house and felt like a real home from home. Beds were very comfortable and ideal for our family (4 adults, 1 child, 1 baby). The property has a stunning kitchen area and the whole house is decorated to a very high standard. Everything available you could need (all the little basics) and more. Lovely touches like a welcome pack including a bottle of Prosecco, biscuits etc. This is probably one of the loveliest properties we have stayed in and so conveniently placed halfway between useful shopping area and the beach. Local park nearby for children too and parking for up to 4 vehicles behind a large secure gate. Only criticism (although minor) is the windows would benefit from blackout blinds as we all tended to wake up early due to sunshine streaming in despite blinds being drawn. Thank you Karen for a lovely stay - would highly recommend this property for family holiday /get together and we are very likely to return.

Sarah’s flat was welcoming, immaculately clean and beautifully furnished. We were encouraged to use all the toiletries and whatever else we needed. Sarah had left breakfast, tea, coffee, milk and a surprise bottle of bubbles too! There was a comprehensive handbook to guide us through our stay containing local eateries and recommendations for days out. Rather than just a place to stay Sarah’s flat was an absolute treat, highly recommended.

Will kept us well informed from booking to arrival. Very responsive to message. Apartment is small but exactly what it says on the listing. Great location and only a 10 minute walk to Brighton Pier.

We really enjoyed staying at Bloomsbury place. We felt it was in a great location, and was just the right size for the 3 of us (2 adults and a small dog). The place was pristine and the welcome goodies made us feel right at home. We had never been to Brighton before and feel like we’d love to come again every chance we get. We had a great stay at Xavier's place. The location was ideal. 25 min walk from the station, really close to the beach front, but also pubs & restaurants too. Xaviers communication was second to none. The kitchen was well stocked with every day essentials including milk, tea, coffee, oil, biscuits etc & the thoughtful bottle of prosecco was very much appreciated by me & my 3 friends ! Would certainly recommend. Thank you.

Wow is all I can say! We fell in love with this beautiful flat. Wish I could have stayed for a week! Amazing location , lovely outside space and the flat itself was perfect in every way. The g&t was much appreciated and helped us settle right in. Thank you so much

What a hidden treasure this place truly is! It exceeded our expectations and then some. The hosts left so many little touches that made it that extra bit special - from dog treats to adult treats 🍾 and they were so lovely and easy to contact. We came here on our first little getaway with our 9-month-old baby (+ dog) and have created some beautiful core memories for us all. If you’re thinking of booking to stay at Marge you won’t regret it. Provided parking, dog friendly allowance and baby amenities sold it to us but from the private cinema (kitted out with all the apps) to the stylish outdoor area and the sea literally on your doorstep, this might be Brighton’s best kept secret.

Malcolm and Jane were very welcoming and could not do enough for us. Recommend places to eat and visit. The facilities offered were great with the ensuite sauna and steam shower. We also used the jacuzzi in the garden but due to the weather ☁️ we did not get to use the pool. Definitely looking to revisit soon.

Had a lovely stay here as a part of a small hen celebration. Hosts were great in the lead up with all my questions and also prompt to response during our stay too. Great location, great value for money. Definitely recommend :-)

An incredible house … everything you could possibly want and much much more … sadly weren’t able to use pool due to weather but we all loved the house so much as it was so comfortable… my nephew said the best air b n b he has been to … we agree. Perfect for 2 families with space to escape each other! The hosts should be highly commended for an exceptional guest experience… thank you so much.

We had a lovely stay at Bec's flat - it was very clean and in a lovely position in the Lanes - only tricky to find because the road signage was confusing. Not sure how easy it would be to unload a car during the day as parking was restricted but we were fine as we arrived late.

Really lovely living space to explore the Worthing seafront and surrounding area. Regular busses run to Brighton and hove and journey is less than an hour. Everything was as described in the listing and was spotless, couldn't have asked for better.

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful apartment. The views out over Brighton/Hove and the sea from the lounge, bedroom and kitchen are just stunning. The apartment itself is very well equipped with everything we needed for a short stay. Clear and detailed instructions for how to access the apartment and loads of recommendations for places to visit, eat and drink. Fantastic communication right from booking and James even messaged on our first morning to check everything was OK. Brilliant from start to finish. Thank you!

Paul's place was excellent. It's really big with gorgeous decor and there was so much space for all five of us. It was in an amazing location right by the sea. 5-10 minute walk to the water. We went there frequently. Lovely park just outside the house where we sat having coffee every morning. Nice restaurants nearby but still a quiet and chill area. Paul was excellent to deal with. Very responsive and flexible. We would definitely come back!

Spacious, comfortable flat with unbelievable views of the river . Extremely well furnished and modern Helen‘s helpfulness and quick response time was much appreciated.

I absolutely loved Jack’s place! It looked even better in person—spacious, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. The decor was modern and thoughtfully done, making it feel like a real home away from home. The location in Hove was perfect—much quieter and more relaxed than Brighton, yet just 20 minutes away by bus. Plus, it’s right next to the train station, which made getting around super easy. Jack was always super quick to respond to messages and really helpful throughout. Highly recommend!

Super host with a gorgeous home. Very proactive and helpful. Would definitely check if it was available before booking anywhere else for our next visit. Lovely peaceful area away from the hustle and bustle but only a short bus journey to/from the town centre. Highly recommend!

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The accommodation was clean, tidy, and surprisingly spacious for two people. The large living room with a comfortable sofa and TV made it easy to relax. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. There are quite a few stairs—steps up to the front door, the flat is on the first floor, and there are steep steps down to the bathroom. These were manageable for us, but something to consider if you have any mobility issues. Although slightly set back from the seafront, it’s only a five-minute walk to the beach. It’s also within easy walking distance of several lovely restaurants and eateries. Overall, a lovely place to stay!
