Monthly Rentals in Shobley

We loved staying on this farm, which was very peaceful, watching the wildlife, the cattle, chickens, and the peacocks. We couldn't wait for the peacock to call and make his multitude of noises; it amused us. Our dog was very chilled about it all and loved the enclosed garden. We gave our dog a short circular morning and evening walk from the farm, and travelled into the New Forest and down to Highclife Castle for our excursions, eating at local restaurants. Everything was in easy reach, including shops in Ringwood. A vehicle is a necessity with this location, but being away from it all is what we wanted. We chose to use self-check in, so did not get to meet Lesley, but she was easily contacted for any information and responded quickly. She leaves a "starter pack" of milk, butter, and shortbread, however, we only needed the milk, so Lesley was happy to cater to our requirements. This will definitely be on the list as a place to return to.

Sarah was very pleasant and easy to deal with. The house is lovely and suited us perfectly as a family with several adults, a toddler and a dog. Kitchen was well kitted out and the garden is secure so we had no concerns about the dog or child being outside. Loved the deer in the field. Thank you.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was very homely and comfortable. It was the perfect place to stay with 2 large dogs. Jane was very friendly but not intrusive. Jane left some pastries on our doorstep one morning which was a lovely gesture. The cooking facilities were basic but everything we needed was there. The bed was the most comfortable we've ever slept in. If you want opulent this isn't the place for you but if you want a little place that feels like home it is.

A wonderful few days with friends in this beautiful converted barn overlooking fields. So much space for kids to run around and Sarah and Simon are so welcoming. Kitchen well stocked so easy to cook. Bedrooms all really comfortable. Lake and Zip wire were so much fun. Couldn't fault it, would happily return!
