Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Shizuoka

Kim and her husband, Chef at their wonderful restaurant Fresh Water shabushabu were extremely helpful and welcoming to my family during our stay. It helped greatly that Kim spoke very good English and clearly knew the area well. The house was pristine and had a sauna bathroom which everyone enjoyed. The view of Mount Fuji greeted us every morning except the last when the weather was very cloudy. We would definitely stay here again if we visit Fujikawaguchiko again.

I had a lovely stay in at Noriko’s place. The views are stunning from end to end. The house is so well designed, decorated, and organized. Everything is perfectly placed for when you need it. I was so relaxed here spending a lot of time on the porch and slept so well in the comfortable bed. Noriko is so kind and sweet. She always made sure I was comfortable and helped me with anything I needed. She made a reservation for me at Food Chant which I highly recommend you do if you want a beautifully prepared and special meal. She also drove me to the train station on my way out which was a nice way to relieve travel day stress. The beautiful beach is about 15 minutes walking, full disclosure there is a steep hill back home but worth it to stay here even if you are relying on walking. The bus stop is also right after the hill and the bus is easy to use to go into Shimoda. I adore Noriko and would absolutely love to come back and relax in this fantastic home.

I have multiple properties, so I use Airbnb, but this has been the most enjoyable stay I've had so far! I exercise a lot, but I was exhausted from running around the dog run all day. The furnishings and facilities were lovely, and it was a house that made me want to imitate. It's so clean that I don't think it's pet friendly. It was a very comfortable birthday trip for the dog! I definitely want to visit again◎

This was a last minute decision for us to stay here, so glad we did! The 2 hour commute to the airport the next day was worth it! So clean. Very peaceful. The sauna with the cold pool right next to it was perfect. And having our own private onsen was awesome! The house was really clean and looked recently redone and new inside. Loved it. Wish I lived here!

The room is very clean and large, the kitchen is well equipped, there is a bath tub, a vending machine at the door, and a 711 next door.But it's not very friendly for people without a car, you have to go up a particularly steep slope, it's inconvenient to drag your luggage and take a taxi.There are two rooms, the room is the sinking type, it is not very convenient to take luggage.But the air conditioning is pretty good.I feel that it is suitable for people with a cook and driver at home to come for a vacation, but not suitable for students to come for team building.

The room was very clean and 10 of us went, but we were able to relax sufficiently.There were also cooking utensils, and I enjoyed cooking.There was also a sauna on the veranda, and I was able to enter it at a very good temperature, and I was very satisfied with everything.

The place is located on the hill with the amazing mountains and ocean view and prestine facilities just as shown in the photos. You can also ask Yukitoshi san for the private boat fishing. It was very relaxing and fun at the same time! You can bring the fish you've caught to their restaurant and they will cook them for you. That was quite a remarkable experience! I will definitely come back here again! The host is very responsive and kind as well. Strongly recommend to stay this place of you are looking for something slightly rural and Onsen(Hot spring) experiences!

Magnificent view of Mount Fuji. Well equipped rooms and Kitchen. Spacious bedrooms. Good start a new day with breakfast on the terrace. Very clear check in and check out instruction.

We had a great stay and no complaints about the property. It was spotlessly clean, check in and check out were seamless and there was cleaning products left for us as well as a fully furnished kitchen. We were very comfortable the entire time. The hill is no problem if you are relatively fit but getting our suitcases up the first day was a bit tough. If you are looking for a hub between Odawara and Hakone, this location works fine and the accommodation is very close to Iriuda station, however if you plan to explore areas like Mt. Hakone / lake ashi it does take a little more time to reach from this location.

The property is on top of a hill and will need to walk a bit.But the view is beautiful.This room is equivalent to three separate rentals of one villa, but separate from each other.The host was very kind and responsive.Overall good.

This place was a lot better than we expected. We expected two beds only (it said two beds on the description), we ended up with three beds. Thanks for the kindness.

Like the house very much, silent place, cozy vibe and the equipments are so good. There is also Netflix membership for watching movies. Nice!

Very clean and well-designed space. The onsen access was a special, authentic treat! The personalized advice I received about local walks and places to visit was extremely appreciated. This is a great resource.

Three generations and five of us stayed.The staff were friendly, flexible, thoughtful, but not overly sophisticated balance, and both elderly parents and children were very relaxed and enjoyed from the beginning.There are two rooms on the second floor, up the stairs from the first floor where the restaurant and cafe are located.The room was spacious, simple and modern, and the bedding and amenities felt comfortable to use and considerate of the environment.The room had a full glass ocean view, and on the balcony, we had a relaxing and luxurious time lying on the sofa while listening to the night breeze, the sound of insects, and the sound of the sea.The area around the kitchen is necessary and well-maintained, so you can bring ingredients and condiments to cook.You may also be able to borrow knives.At night on the sandy beach, you can take a quiet walk in the morning, and the water bus comes out in front of you, and the center of Shimizu is also just a short walk away.The restaurant on the ground floor also had a good atmosphere, and Marine Sports seemed to be fun.I'd love to stay next time.

One of my favorite destinations in Japan! The condo is comfortable, clean and relaxing with everything we needed right there on site! Love love this place!!

The condo is located right off the main drag and directly across from a semi-private cove of one of the best beaches in Shimoda! The photos are true to life, the place was in pristine condition, all appliances worked out perfectly, and the bedding was super comfortable! Cheryl is a great hostess! The one thing we wish we could have changed was the weather, as it was misty and windy during our stay, and then of course, the sun popped out the day we had to leave :( Hoping we can get a do-over and land Cheryl's place again some day!

My stay was very nice and cozy though the condo building felt quiet. Rei has great taste in design and furnishing to make her guests feel at home. Recommend to drive here so that you could explore around freely.

Stayed for three days and it was tiring to climb. Overall was good!
