Vacation rentals with beach access in Shizuoka

Great location very close to the train station. The instructions for check-in were clear, and the view was amazing. The room was 5 stories up, but we were aware of that when we booked. The only downsides were that it was noisy with the cars on the street below. The host was friendly and communicative. He was well organized with the check-in information and gave lots of local recommendations. He also was fairly quick to respond to any questions I had. Overall I would recommend this place if you are looking to stay and explore Ito!

Cozy and comfortable place with an amazing location. Also came with a complimentary ticket for the hot spring near the place. Host was very accommodating and kind.

The unit was perfect for our little “slice of life” experience in Japan. Mari was super helpful for providing extremely detailed check in instructions and how to find the place. The place was very cozy for 2 people and had everything we needed. I really enjoyed the hot water and the comfy linens on the bed. I really appreciated all the drying hooks for when we did laundry (washer is on the front porch). Everything was clean upon arrival and 2 L of water was provided by the host. She was very responsive and attentive, I felt relaxed staying at this place. It is about 12 minutes to Manazuru station making this convenient to explore other areas like Odawara and Hakone. Overall I enjoyed our stay and would stay here again in the future.

Jun was very prompt and accommodating. Thankfully he allowed us to store luggage before check in cos there were zero lockers available at Odawara station and so many tourists were scrambling. The flat was much bigger than our Airbnb in Tokyo and we had lots of floor space to open our luggages. I appreciated sweet touches like the lighted bulbs at the stairs to the entrance at night and magic pens for our kid to entertain herself. Note that this flat is on level 2 on a narrow metal stairway.

Excellent hospitality for 5 days on New Year's Eve! I also had a 4-year-old daughter, but there was a step table, children's dishes, and there was a trampoline, balls, swings, and badminton in the garden, so I could enjoy it with my family without having any time! My parents were also with me, but there were two bedrooms on the second floor, so the sleeping space was comfortable! There were a lot of citrus fruits in the garden, and it was fun to pick tangerines, and it was delicious.😋 Thank you!

The location was inconvenient, but it was just as clean and beautiful as the photos.There was a time limit of 8 pm when using the BBQ grill, which was a bit disappointing.

We stayed with 8 adults, 2 children, and 3 families.The room was clean, and although it was a cold day, the whole room was warm and I had a pleasant time.The sea, station, convenience store, McDonald's, and hot springs were also within walking distance, and there was also a delicious cake shop nearby.It was my first time using it, but they were very polite and communicative, and I made very good travel memories.

The living room on the second floor had a great view and a sense of openness as pictured, and the whole family, including my parents in their 70s, were delighted! If the kitchen had such a nice view, I would be happy to cook every day. I felt luxurious with the high-quality tableware and furniture. I stayed one night, and the first day was rainy and the second day was sunny, so I was impressed by the sunny day. The kitchen, bathroom, and toilet were very clean and very pleasant. The bath was spacious and the floor was soft, so it was safe even for a 1-year-old, and I was satisfied without going to a nearby hot spring! The facilities and location were great, and the host's messages were accurate and quick, making it a very memorable experience. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at Mitsuko’s house, and the view on the sea was amazing! The house is comfortable to stay for longer periods, with more than enough cooking utensils, cutlery and plates and cups for cooking. Definitely visit the local hotspring, and Manyo park in Yugawara for a relaxed day out. There are also some local busses for commuting to the nearest supermarkets.

Kotomi’s place was such a gem in the sleepytown of Yaizu. It was perfect for our family and was the most relaxing stay!

Thanks to the very kindness of the host, we had a comfortable time.We were able to relax with all the BBQs and bedding.I'd love to stay again if I get the chance.

The interior was cleaner than the photos and it felt luxurious.There was a bedroom facing east where you could see the morning sun, and you could watch a wide range of TV subscriptions, so we had a relaxing time.

Great stay! Strong internet/ WiFi. Close to downtown. Free bike use. Easy checkin, good communication l, and clean apartment. I stayed to go surfing nearby and they had parking available for my car.

Very good place to stay! The beach is just a short 5 minute walk which we very much enjoyed. The view from the balcony is great. Not a whole lot of places to eat nearby but there is a full kitchen to cook with. We also stayed during typhoon and host was very responsive and let us stay an extra day as the trains were suspended.

It was a beautiful place! It was easy to know how to check in!

I booked in the late winter so the greenery wasn't quite as verdant as the photo, but that's understandable. The condo with tatami sleeping area comes well-equipped with a very nice bathroom, kitchen, and sit-down outdoor gas grill on the patio for DIY teppanyaki. Note that access from the bus from Shimoda (which runs every hour or two) is best using the 2nd driveway (it has big "BBQ ⇧" painted on it); also there is currently a 9:24AM bus back which worked out great for the 10:15 Odoriko express back to Kanagawa-ken. I didn't try the adjacent BBQ restaurant with "Taco Cabana" (sounded great) but hope to the next time I get back to this very scenic part of Japan.

Everything is beautiful. The TV was also large, and there were two, which was great!

Three generations and five of us stayed.The staff were friendly, flexible, thoughtful, but not overly sophisticated balance, and both elderly parents and children were very relaxed and enjoyed from the beginning.There are two rooms on the second floor, up the stairs from the first floor where the restaurant and cafe are located.The room was spacious, simple and modern, and the bedding and amenities felt comfortable to use and considerate of the environment.The room had a full glass ocean view, and on the balcony, we had a relaxing and luxurious time lying on the sofa while listening to the night breeze, the sound of insects, and the sound of the sea.The area around the kitchen is necessary and well-maintained, so you can bring ingredients and condiments to cook.You may also be able to borrow knives.At night on the sandy beach, you can take a quiet walk in the morning, and the water bus comes out in front of you, and the center of Shimizu is also just a short walk away.The restaurant on the ground floor also had a good atmosphere, and Marine Sports seemed to be fun.I'd love to stay next time.

We stayed for 6 nights and had wonderful time in the villa. The host was very helpful and responsive when we needed something (our fault, not theirs). the view from the balcony is incredible and we used the sauna at least once a day. We were staying with our 2 year old son and can recommend to families. We hired a car and drove to shimoda from kyoto which we enjoyed, would suggest having a car in this location, there's plenty of other great beaches etc within a short drive if you don't just want to stay around the accommodation. Only takes less than 5 mins to get into town for restaurants etc too, although we used the BBQ on the deck several times which we all enjoyed. Thanks for having us.
