Big Rocket (?)Goryokaku, and Shinkai Sanja Shrine are also must-sees. 5-minute walk to a convenience store (7-Eleven), 6-minute walk to a supermarket (Tsuruya Utsuda branch) Good access to Karuizawa, Sakuho, Yatsugatake, Kiyori, and Ueda! (Within 1 hour by car) The countryside is rich in nature. Saku Usuda Shinshu is delicious for its vegetables, fruits, rice, miso, and sake. Please enjoy nature, such as the changing seasons, beautiful scenery, the sky, the morning sun, the setting sun, and the starry sky.

Herbal Retreat Lodge/Relaxing hot spring area with wood-burning stove and herbs (pets allowed)

A tiny house herbal retreat surrounded by the rich nature of Shinshu. You can freely use more than 80 kinds of herbs to heal your mind and body with herbal tea and herbal baths. In the living room with a wood stove, you can read or enjoy tea time while being enveloped by the warmth of the flames. There is a fire pit and pizza oven in the garden, where you can enjoy a bonfire and homemade pizza. Outside the window is the seasonal scenery of Bingushi no Sato Park. You can enjoy picnics and morning walks on the lawn, as well as cherry blossoms and autumn leaves. Pets are allowed, and you can walk with them in nature. A 1-minute drive to a superb view hot spring, and many local hot springs within 10 minutes. Within a short walk, you can also visit Ueda Castle, Seikogen, and the Power Spot Tour. Bedding includes 1 double bed in the loft (single futon can be added if desired), 1 double futon bed in the first floor tatami mat space, and the couch sofa can be used as a single bed.It can accommodate up to 5 people.

After locally sourcing fresh ingredients, head to the Rock Forest, park your car in the parking lot, and climb the stairs to carry the ingredients to the hearth space. I don't get to meet other people. From Tokyo to Karuizawa, it is 60 minutes by Shinkansen, and 30 minutes by car from Karuizawa Station, so for example, you can work in the morning and take a half afternoon.
