This house is a traditional 20 year old Japanese house. It is totally private as it's surrounded by trees. There is a walkway 5 minutes down to Shirahama Beach which is arguably one of the nicest beaches in Japan. We have added a large deck to the house for outdoor living. The bedrooms are very traditional Japanese. The kitchen is large and easy to use. We have a coffee machine, rice cooker, screen with HDMI chord (adapter needed for your device) and blue tooth speaker for your use.

We enjoyed our stay soooo much! This house is absolutely wonderful — spacious, new, and just 5 minutes walking to the beach. It’s very unique, cozy, and authentic — we fell in love with every room, every corner. Everything is thoughtfully designed, with so much attention to detail. It’s also just 5 minutes by bike to the supermarket, which was super convenient. The hosts are a lovely, responsive family who clearly put their heart and care into every part of the home. We felt truly welcomed and comfortable here

It has been a great experience visiting yugawara. We had great time staying in this lovely house. It is near to Lawson, taxi stand, bus stop, and sightseeing area, which is very convenient for elderly . Very peaceful town to visit. The house has everything we needed. We definitely would like to come back to stay at this place and enjoy nature in yugawara again.

Cabin like, spacious house only a skip from the incredible Irita Beach. We were welcomed promptly and given a brief, helpful tour. The home has great traditional touches such as tatami rooms with lovely beachy vibes. We had towels, kitchen supplies and even boogy boards! This place met all of our needs. We had so much fun discovering wildlife like geckos and butterflies outside.
