Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Shimoda

Excellent hospitality for 5 days on New Year's Eve! I also had a 4-year-old daughter, but there was a step table, children's dishes, and there was a trampoline, balls, swings, and badminton in the garden, so I could enjoy it with my family without having any time! My parents were also with me, but there were two bedrooms on the second floor, so the sleeping space was comfortable! There were a lot of citrus fruits in the garden, and it was fun to pick tangerines, and it was delicious.😋 Thank you!

My husband and I had 3 great nights at Hill Top house. It was certainly dramatic excentuated by our arrival in the dark on the first night and waking in the morning to glorious sunshine and stunning views out to the Pacific, not to mention the monkey troop walking along the tree line behind the house. The house is as described and is a modernist gem. We would not hesitate to stay again. We only wished we had booked it for longer.

9 of us, friends and family, stayed, and everyone was satisfied. However, there were small ants in the kitchen, so I thought it would be better to deal with them.

We enjoyed our stay soooo much! This house is absolutely wonderful — spacious, new, and just 5 minutes walking to the beach. It’s very unique, cozy, and authentic — we fell in love with every room, every corner. Everything is thoughtfully designed, with so much attention to detail. It’s also just 5 minutes by bike to the supermarket, which was super convenient. The hosts are a lovely, responsive family who clearly put their heart and care into every part of the home. We felt truly welcomed and comfortable here

Is a lovely place nice location nice surrounding beautiful view and a lovely house actually the kitchen is very big and you can see Fuji mountain on the balcony and from the window in the house

Great place to stay. Location wise is near to most attractions in Izu. However, without car, it is a short walk from the nearest train station. Views from the house is good, overlooking the sea. The amenities are also great, many appliances in the house and all working fine. The beds provided were also ok, with many mattresses if needed. It’s spacious and can comfortably accommodate our group of 6. Host was responsive and helpful. Overall great stay and would certainly recommend.

I used it as a family of two, but it was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped and I enjoyed cooking.

This place was AMAZING. The views shown in the photos are even more breathtaking, peaceful and beautiful. The air smells like flowers and the birds never stop singing beautiful songs. The property was well kept and well maintained. It was clean and the sauna and sauna tub were awesome additions! 10/10

A wonderful place. It was our second stay at this property, and we’ll come back again. Going swimming and then jumping in the hot tub after was wonderful. Hiromi made us feel like we were family. Highly recommend.

It was a perfect place to stay. This time, we stayed with a family of three, but the night view was beautiful because the weather was good, and there were no buildings around, so we had a very quiet time. It was the best time with an unobstructed view in the morning. Next time, I want to come with a large group, including friends and other families, and have a barbecue.

This is a really beautiful place. Very relaxing with the waves crashing down below, a tub outside and a sauna, and a beautiful gas fireplace to cozy up to in the evening. The decor was fascinating also, everything was designed so beautifully. I appreciated the easy automatic locks for the door, the big bedroom to fit the whole family (also with amazing views) and the comfortable bedding. Every item you need in the kitchen was provided, and the washer/dryer combo was great to have. Also the location was great, just a short drive to a variety of things to see. I also loved the recommendations for hot springs and restaurants! Super helpful. I am looking forward to staying here again!

I stayed with 9 friends.It was close to the bus stop, the bath was very clean, and we all enjoyed it very much!It was very good.

Very unique and well-equipped home with lots of space and right next to the Jogasaki coast. We especially liked the outdoor onsen and the barbecue option. The bikes were nice, too. Lots of individually packaged supplies available and everything clearly labeled (to rule-averse people, maybe to an almost intimidating degree). Furniture is more on the functional side. A peaceful retreat for nature lovers and larger groups. Would definitely book again!

It was a wonderful environment that made me forget about my everyday life.The sauna also goes up to 110 degrees, so I would definitely like everyone to use it when they stay.

I used it for a family trip. We had a very relaxing time with the warmth of the cabin and the scent of cypress. There was unlimited access to hot springs and saunas, and I enjoyed it many times, which was very pleasant. There are several golf courses nearby, so I'd love to play golf next time. It was in a great location, close to tourist destinations such as Izu and Atami, and easy to get to by car. The kitchen and bath were also the latest and clean.
