What an amazing view! Every room is perfectly decorated. Anything you could possibly need was available. We visited during a cold spell so enjoyed the indoor fireplace, complete with plenty of fire starters, seasoned logs, and s’mores fixings! Enjoyed meeting Ozzy the tortoise. Also spotted deer, wild turkeys, squirrels, and a rabbit. We had our binoculars but didn’t get them out as Ally supplied a better pair. Ally responded quickly to questions. We had a terrific anniversary and highly recommend you book here.

Magical and perfect in every way. There aren't enough words to describe the absolute perfection this getaway provided for our microwedding. Many months back, I had a vision of what I wanted for our wedding, with the help of Dave and Holly, it came to fruition beyond my most magical dreams. Holly let me tour the property twice to be sure I could cover all the details I had envisioned. Holly and Dave added twinkly lights to the main room to make our wedding reception space special. This space is perfect for an event such as a wedding. Separate house quarters allowed the bridal party to get ready in private areas which was perfect and private. The kitchen was large enough for our buffet, dessert bar, and, just off to the side, our drink areas and candy bar. Our vision was for our kids to enjoy the property the entire weekend leading up to and after the wedding while our guests would enjoy our ceremony on the dock by the lake and reception throughout the whole house and yard. Perfection!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and towels, soap, etc nicely laid out. We used the kayak on the river, and there was even life jackets available. Was close to city and restaurants. Would stay here again.

Absolutely perfect for our weekend getaway! Wish we could’ve stayed longer. The porch swing/bed was perfect for evenings “outside”.
