Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Shannondale

It was a peaceful family get away. The house is well stocked with necessities. The animals were an adorable touch. I enjoyed feeding them more than the kids did. The trails are more for able bodied people. My clumsy 2 year old was not able to get very far. My kids and dogs loved playing in the mini beach. The cave hot tub unique but we were not able to use it. The peoperty itself is gorgeous. I would love to come back.

Beautiful old home just blocks from the Walking Mall. Our golf club has had a tournament around Winchester each spring for many years and this place was one of the nicest we've rented especially since its so close to town for so many things to do in the evening. Elizabeth was a great host and easy to contact for any questions we had.

Very peaceful, a place to get away and relax. Restful. Grounds are well cared for.

Kristiane’s home was the perfect place for me and my two friends to stay in for our Foxcroft Reunion weekend. The home is lovely, updated and the perfect location. Kristiane is a great host who thought of every detail to make her home welcoming.

This Airbnb was the best stocked home we’ve been to so far. Joseph is a responsive,kind host that always keeps his guests in mind. The area is quiet and there are restaurants nearby. I recommend staying here if you’re in the Frederick area.

This cabin was beautiful and clean, the furniture was so rustic, true cabin! Loved the creek, it brought a lot of wildlife to the area. The hot tub was so relaxing. This was one of the best cabins we have stayed at, the cleanliness and cute factor made it a favorite along with the seclusion. Directions were very clear and easy to follow. Our host was very friendly and helpful . Will rent this gem again.

It’s a very cute house, we really enjoyed our stay. We had no cell service but there is WiFi so it all worked out great! It’s the woods so there are some bugs inside but nothing too bad. It’s a great place, easy to get to as well. I’d definitely stay here again!

Joi's place was perfect for our annual three-family vacation. The house is beautiful and has a great layout for family gatherings with a huge dining table and open kitchen/living room concept. The house was pristine and had so many amenities and extras - including everything you could want in the kitchen and bathrooms. We thoroughly enjoyed the kayaks, the bikes, and the lawn games. The kids loved the video games, foosball, ping pong and pool table. The hot tub was great, too. Joi is very responsive and communicative and was helpful with any question we had. Highly recommend - would definitely stay here again!

Cindy's place was immaculate and so very comfortable from one end to the other. The furnishings and decor were outstanding, and her special touches including the snacks, the eggs and beverages in the refrigerator, and the design of and appliances in the kitchen were above and beyond what we've ever experienced. Total comfort and relaxation, and we definitely hope to return. A big thank you from both of us...

A great place to stay!

Quaint place off with access to the eclectic shops in Occoquan. The beds were comfortable and had all the necessary amenities for a visit to the DC area.

Ava was so pleasant and helpful. The space was cozy and had everything we needed and more! Would definitely recommend.

We were in town for a funeral so we didn’t require much. This place was perfect for our needs. It’s a cute space . The bed was super comfortable and the apartment was very clean. It is a small space. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you are getting so there are no surprises. For the most part it was fairly quiet considering it is in the city of Winchester. There are limited outlets so if you have multiple things you need to charge plan accordingly. I would definitely recommend and I would definitely stay here again.

The location was great: quiet neighborhood and easy 20-minute walk to Metro. Tyson's Corner, Wolf Trap and downtown Vienna were all close by.

Very responsive was always willing to accommodate! Any question I had, he responded quickly and always had an answer! Very very clear and nice!

The house is as described full of amenities. I particularly enjoyed the piano and sauna. The host was very responsive and accommodating. Thank you for everything

Our stay was amazing! The pool was excellent! The rooms were spacious and clean.

Thos home was so perfect for myself and six of my family members. The house was absolutely beautiful, clean and really well put together. The beds were so comfortable and the host was super responsive. I don't have anything negative to say about our experience at all. The area is super close to a large shopping area so it was easy to get to food and anything else we needed.

Our family had a wonderful time. Highly recommend this place very beautiful, clean, peaceful area, indoor pool great for our children 14years old and under. Our host was very welcoming and professional. Thanks for having us and we would love to come back again !

I will forever be grateful for the amazing weekend my wife and I spent at the Dulles Executive Resort. It was love at first sight when we checked in after an overwhelmed 5 hours red eye flight. We needed a secluded place to rest and it was far better than what we had hoped for even beyond a stretch of our imagination. Beside being conveniently located less than 10 minutes away from IAD, the DER offers so many amenities..Our host welcoming attitude left no room for reproach. What an incredible stay! The home was spotlessly clean—truly one of the cleanest Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. Every detail was pristine, which made it feel so welcoming and comfortable. It was also beautifully and tastefully decorated, creating a cozy yet stylish atmosphere throughout. The outdoor space was just as impressive—peaceful, private, and perfect for relaxing. We especially loved the fenced-in hot tub area, which made it easy to unwind while our dogs stayed safe nearby. And the sauna was such a cool and unexpected bonus! The location is secluded enough to feel like a true escape, yet close to wineries, restaurants, and everything else you might need. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. We had the most relaxing weekend with family and friends—this place is a true gem. We can’t wait to return!

Dan’s home is like stepping into a home of history and adventure. There are many pieces to view of his endless journeys throughout the world. The home is situated on a high bluff overlooking the Potomac. The views are gorgeous and many birds can be seen and heard. The gardens and plantings around the house breathe life to the landscape. The home itself is updated with high end kitchen and baths. Master bedroom is spacious with an en-suite bath. 3 other bedrooms are very nice as well. Our stay was lovely and would recommend this home highly.
