Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Shannondale

We came this weekend for a snow tubing trip to River Riders. There were 5 adults, 5 kids and 2 dogs and there was plenty of room for us all! The fenced in backyard was perfect and everyone enjoyed the hot tub, even in the freezing temps. The old house is super cute and has some unique qualities. It was clean, plenty of towels and everything needed in the kitchen to cook breakfast, lunches and dinners! No issues were encountered at all and we will be back in the Spring for river tubing! Highly recommended.

It was a peaceful family get away. The house is well stocked with necessities. The animals were an adorable touch. I enjoyed feeding them more than the kids did. The trails are more for able bodied people. My clumsy 2 year old was not able to get very far. My kids and dogs loved playing in the mini beach. The cave hot tub unique but we were not able to use it. The peoperty itself is gorgeous. I would love to come back.

Very peaceful, a place to get away and relax. Restful. Grounds are well cared for.

We had a great weekend staying at the home. Everything was exactly as described and wonderfully comfortable.

Joi's place was perfect for our annual three-family vacation. The house is beautiful and has a great layout for family gatherings with a huge dining table and open kitchen/living room concept. The house was pristine and had so many amenities and extras - including everything you could want in the kitchen and bathrooms. We thoroughly enjoyed the kayaks, the bikes, and the lawn games. The kids loved the video games, foosball, ping pong and pool table. The hot tub was great, too. Joi is very responsive and communicative and was helpful with any question we had. Highly recommend - would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I were very happy with the hosts! They were very helpful and it was a pleasure dealing with Valencia. The house was as it was described and very clean! ! We had a very nice time at the house! It's super convenient to the Harper's Ferry National Park, just up the road. The house was clean, and we appreciated the extra towels, the new grill and the wide variety of kitchen utensils. The hot tub was clean and very nice as well. There is road noise from the nearby highway, and the fire pit space was not as idyllic as we had imagined. But, it was a nice place to return to after exploring, and the location did have a convenience benefit- Walmart and other shops being just a few miles away.

Great find! House was awesome! Love the decor! Had plenty to do with pool, foosball, games, fire pit, large TV and great space for relaxing on the covered patio for morning coffee or afternoon drinks. Very pet friendly. Damon (host) is very friendly and responsive. Set in a peaceful and reclusive environment, but, close to plenty of activities for daily excursions. Definitely looking forward to coming back!

The lower level private entrance apartment was very nice with all new furnishings, comfortable bed and sofa, smart TV, plenty of books and games. The kitchen was well appointed with high end small appliances ( microwave oven, toaster oven, single pan cooktop, Ninja coffee maker and an under the counter with complimentary goodies ( sweet muffins English Muffins, butter, cream cheese, Starbucks ground coffee and orange juice) and some small bag snacks (popcorn and chips). The bathroom was very nice with plenty of towels and complimentary shampoo and conditioner. Judy was a very gracious and friendly host with quick responses to any questions or sought after recommendations. She gave us 4 wineries to try and we loved all 4 of them. You can’t go wrong with this Airbnb.

My husband and I were very pleased with our lodging. The photos and description were accurate. The rooms were very clean and even though it was still cold out, the heating inside was perfect. We loved how quiet the area was. Out side at night you could hear the proverbial "pin drop". We were within walking distance to all attractions. I would absolutely stay at this location again.

Excellent host. Very clean place, beautiful property. Laura was amazing. It was like staying with a good friend. We bought some of her eggs and delicious honey. We would definitely stay there again. My wife and I and our fur babies will miss Laura, Jerald, and Dasher.

I had such a lovely stay here! The cottage is in a quiet, family friendly neighborhood, with a park close by. Butch provided great instructions on how to get to the cottage, met me when I got there, and walked me through the space. The bed was super comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything I needed for an almost week long stay. I would absolutely recommend this place for anyone looking to travel to the area.

Great place with a great view and was comfortable and nice. Plenty of activities, nature, and restaurants and breweries in the area, not to mention it is wine country. Very private and Baker was a great host.

I absolutely loved this Airbnb! Roger and Kar Kar truly thought of everything someone might need. Plus it’s super cozy, in a great and beautiful location, and is the perfect mix of private and in sight of caring hosts. The only thing I’ll mention is that there were stink bugs in the studio, especially in the windows surrounding the bed—this did impact my ability to sleep soundly, I tend to be really sensitive to bugs. I came during a season change, so maybe there are more around this time of year. I thought that everything else was so wonderful that I couldn’t let this impact my rating, but wanted to flag that for others.

We loved our stay in Fort Valley. The home was spotless and perfect, we hope to return again!

This was our second stay at Janel's place and it was just as enjoyable as the first time. We loved the fireplace and views from the A frame windows. The hot tub wasn't working unfortunately, but things happen and Janel was communicative about it. Had a great weekend regardless. Also love that Janel is accommodating of dogs. Our fur babies were happy to join us on our getaway.

Perfect cabin — wish could’ve stayed longer. History buffs should take a walk past the old post office and see the church and cemetery.

Kayla's place was perfect for our last-minute spring break getaway with the kids—beautiful home decor and view.

We had a great time at the cabin! Cozying up around the fire place and relaxing in the hot tub were highlights of the trip. There were plenty of towels for us to use for the hot tub which was super helpful. We also definitely utilized the grill which was great. 10/10!

Adorable, cozy space on a stunning property. Jeff and Sam were very friendly and they thought of everything. Downtown was 3 miles away and had everything you could ask for. Will definitely be returning to this property.

Beautiful place me and my boyfriend came here for his birthday we had the best time! Brandi had the space nice and clean when we got there. She is has excellent response time and is very friendly. The cabin itself was amazing the view was incredible! being able to go out and kayak was amazing. The perfect get away for you and your partner! we will definitely be back!
