Apartment vacation rentals in Setubal

This spacious, beautifully renovated, adorable, 2 bedroom space is such a treat to stay in! The windows open onto the cobblestone walkways below, sun streams in & a breeze blows through. There can’t possibly be a better place to enjoy a relaxing vacation! I highly recommend this Airbnb experience.

Located on the beach (first line), within walking distance (5 min) to several restaurants on the marina. Spacious 2 bedroom flat on the 3rd floor wtih lift access. Large balcony with table and chairs, with direct sea view (sunset), and if you're lucky like we were, you might get to see dolphins. All Basic Kitchen utensils available. 2x Allocated parking spaces. Access to shared pool, including a children's pool. There is a mini market within 5 min walk, however if you are planning to cook, I would recommend shopping before you get there - Alcácer, Setúbal or Sines (depending on where you are coming from). You can easily get to Setúbal via Catamaran or Ferry. Comporta is located less than 20 min drive away. The host was responsive and helpful. We had a great time during our stay and planning to return! 🙂

Jens is kind, friendly, humourous, knowledgeable and gave great recommendations from airport transport to local restaurants. The apartment is really an oasis. The courtyard is so peaceful and lovely just to sip coffee listening to the birds in the morning or enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. Fascinating history of the renovations work which have been done to the highest specifications, with attention to details. Really a home away from home. Would love to return!

We really appreciated this lovely little flat in Setubal. Margarida’s aunt met us and showed us where and how to use everything. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The terrace is definitely a highlight with 360’ views of the waterfront and the city. We found this location ideal for exploring the city. The market, which is across the street is a must visit. Margarida is more than willing to help with suggestions on places to explore. El apartamento de Sandra es precioso, está limpísimo y la ubicación es perfecta. Además, la comunicación con Sandra fue continua desde el primer momento y estuvo atenta a todo. Otra cosita que nos encantó y nos pareció un detallazo es que nos dejó una botella de vino como regalo de bienvenida. El lugar del apartamento es perfecto para conocer bien la ciudad, pasear, ir caminando a todos sitios (incluso a las primeras playas) e ir al mercado a hacer las compritas típicas. El único "pero" que ponemos es que justo al lado hay un pub y hubo un par de noches en las que el ruido no nos dejó descansar bien, así que si alguien va con un bebé o con personas mayores, es importante tenerlo en cuenta. Por lo demás, maravilloso, de verdad.

Hemos estado muy cómodos. Ubicación perfecta. Zona muy bonita. Limpio y moderno. La anfitriona muy pendiente y amable.

LUX was very comfortable and quiet with a beautiful view of the St. George castle and the old city. Patricia was so nice. When we had a couple small challenges, she immediately responded kindly and helped us out. We loved the welcome gift. The balcony was fun. The area is wonderful to walk in, near Avenue de Liberdade but still so peaceful. Trees everywhere! The bed was cozy. Kitchen was well appointed for cooking. Loved being on the top floor. Big view windows and doors that completely open up.

We enjoyed our two week stay at this apartment which was spacious and quiet as described. Very comfortable with two bathrooms (one with a bathtub). Great cafe (called SMILE) just outside building on the corner of street. It was easy catching busses to various parts of Setubal, and we enjoyed the close proximity to Alegro Mall (about 10 min walk each way). Carla was a very responsive host right from the beginning of booking up until the moment we checked out of the apartment. She was always very helpful and professional. Thank you for everything Carla!

This is truly an amazing place, and Iza was so friendly, helpful and responsive. I couldn’t recommend it more and we hope to return someday! Guests should be prepared for a short but steep walk to get to the apartment from the ferry which takes you to Lisbon. The apartment was sparkling clean, had everything we needed and wasn’t cluttered with things we didn’t. The kitchen was well appointed, even had spices we needed to cook, and Iza was kind enough to have some snacks waiting for us. She also accommodated us checking in early because our flight arrived in the morning, and offered us great recommendations during our stay. We couldn’t ask for more; truly one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had.

Appartement voldeed aan de verwachtingen voor een goede prijs. We waren met zijn vieren en allemaal een aparte slaapkamer. Iets buiten het centrum maar met Uber voor weinig perfect te bereiken

Emplacement idéal... vue mer. le logement était plus qu'à la hauteur de nos espérances. de grands espaces, logement ideal pour un grand groupe. je recommande!

Wir waren das dritte Mal in der Wohnung von Ricardo. Er hat die Wohnung dieses Jahr komplett renoviert und eine niegelnagelneue Küche eingebaut und neuen Boden verlegt auch die Elektrogeräte in der Küche sind neu. Die Dachterrasse ist wunderschön. Im Whirlpool kann man am Abend wunderschön entspannen. Die Wohnung ist super gelegen für Besichtigungen in der Stadt. Nebenan ist der Lidl Supermarkt und im selben Gebäude ein Auchan in dem man sich perfekt selbst versorgen kann und auf der vorhandenen Dachterrasse grillen kann. Ein großes Plus und äußerst selten ist die Tiefgarage mit einem Stellplatz für das Auto für die Ausflüge. Außen Stellplätze gibt es in Lissabon nämlich keine und deswegen ist ein Stellplatz in der Tiefgarage. Perfekt.

For a short stay at the beach, with great restaurants in the local town nearby, and wonderful other beaches at half an hours' drive, this is a perfect apartment. If you like the beach, it's simply perfect and there is plenty of things to do in Sesimbra. The only criticism I can think of would be the fact that a bar is very close by, and if they have live music (we had it only on our last night) it's quite loud at night. Otherwise the bar itself is hardly audible. Thanks for the stay and your hospitality, Tiago!
