Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Setúbal

My husband and I spent two nights at João's, and our stay was exceptional. The surroundings were gorgeous and peaceful, and the house, itself, was sparkling clean and beautifully decorated. João was incredibly helpful and friendly. Highly recommend and hope to visit again!

We liked it very much. At the property, the gigantic pool in particular is a highlight as well as the quiet location in the nature with a view. The property and cottage is a bit outdated, but very authentic. You can reach many great beaches, cliff hiking trails, as well as the very beautiful fishing village of Sesimbra in a short time by car. We also took day trips to Lisbon and Sintra. Host Barbara was extremely helpful, friendly and straightforward. Thank you!

Dina is an excellent host!! Always responsive and willing to help, it has met all the special needs we requested. The house was spotlessly clean and tidy, with all the facilities needed for a quiet and cozy stay. Very comfortable beds, clean towels, clean and smelling sheets, and a delicious and very enjoyable outdoor space. We were very satisfied because it exceeded our expectations. I recommend it and will definitely be back!

The stay was great! Overall, the place exceeded our expectations. We were a group of 8 adults, 2 children and 2 toddlers and there was enough space for everyone so that you could spread out well in the house if necessary. And while eating, everyone could sit together comfortably at the large dining table in the cozy living/dining room. Unfortunately, the weather was not optimal for long pool days, but we were still able to use it. Especially the kids had a lot of fun. There was everything you need. Kitchen is super equipped. Since we drink a lot of coffee, the small espresso machine was not enough, but that was the only thing we were missing and we quickly found an alternative for us and bought a simple filter coffee machine in the nearby discount store. If we had any questions or concerns, the hosts always responded very quickly and helped. Thanks a lot! 🙂

Pleasant house in a quiet environment, what we were looking for for holidays with 2 children. The house is well-equipped and the pool 20m from the terrace was a big plus. The host guided us well for the key exchange and check-out. The welcome coffee was a nice touch. We would recommend it.

Two families stayed for 10 days with young children. Breathtaking scenery, beautiful house. 10 minutes from town and the beach. Children also had great fun feeding the goats with the farmer. Thank you for a great stay, we will be back.

Amazing stay! The house is wonderful, designed with great taste. I loved the peaceful location, just a short drive from Setúbal’s center and awesome view on the golf course. The outdoor area is a dream — spacious, private, and ideal for relaxing. Highly recommend, i would definitely return!

We had a fantastic long weekend at Francisco & Marta’s place. It’s a beautiful house, clean, quiet, lots of great amenities and spacious. We were 4 adults & 2 kids. Our highlights were cooking & spending time together in the big living room, patio and garden during the day, and then sitting around the fireplace at night. The house is a short drive from a nearby town with lovely restaurants & wine farms, various local beaches, hiking and Setubal was lovely to visit as well. We had a rental car but had also had no problem accessing Ubers. Overall we had a wonderful time and highly recommend their place!

Well-decorated apartment, with very interesting details and equipped with everything necessary for the purpose (both for short and medium stays), however, with reasonable sound insulation. Bedroom wardrobes with above-average space. I must point out the following points to improve, so that everything is perfect: Evident signs of infiltration in the kitchen's false ceiling, requiring repair. Suspended bathroom sink cabinet needs to be replaced. In addition to the finish being cracked in some places, the top drawer no longer opens when it closes. The shower does not seal 100%, not preventing water from flowing out onto the bathroom floor. The rooms do not have blinds or curtains, giving no alternative to those who do not want to sleep with light. In short, a good option considering the price, but in need of improvements.

Very comfortable, family-friendly and clean space, in a privileged location in Soltroia Mar. 5-star hostess!

Nice apartment, stayed with her husband for almost 2 months. I can recommend both for short and long stay. Spacious, with everything you need. Fast stable internet, although the signal catches well only in part of the house, it is almost not in one of the 3 bedrooms and in the kitchen. Large smart TV with youtube. The kitchen has everything you need for life: oven, microwave, dishwasher, gusto coffee machine. Air conditioning in every room. The location of the apartment is good, even without a car. Ground but high floor apartment. Quiet neighborhood. Railway station in 15 min walk. The Fertagus train allows you to get to Setubal in 3 minutes or Lisbon in 40 minutes. Communication with the host goes through the manager. All issues were resolved quickly and without problems. Thank you very much for the sweet treat at the time of check-in.

Lidiya and Pilar were very responsive and very kind. The apartment is very nice, with everything you need and more, and perfectly suited to our needs. There were also directions and numbers to organize adventures around. So we were able to enjoy the beaches to the north and south of Sétubal. We recommend their apartment without any worries!

The host was friendly and had good communication. The location was great as it was a 2 minute walk from the beach and near the marina, which has lovely restaurants and a grocery store near by. The accommodation itself was beautiful, clean and as advertised. I recommend staying at this accommodation.

We enjoyed our two week stay at this apartment which was spacious and quiet as described. Very comfortable with two bathrooms (one with a bathtub). Great cafe (called SMILE) just outside building on the corner of street. It was easy catching busses to various parts of Setubal, and we enjoyed the close proximity to Alegro Mall (about 10 min walk each way). Carla was a very responsive host right from the beginning of booking up until the moment we checked out of the apartment. She was always very helpful and professional. Fantastically located between the sea and the river delta of the Sado. The apartment has a beautiful view of the sea and the garden and the pool area. It is quiet and there is always a pleasant wind. The apartment is very nicely decorated and spacious, has a well-stocked kitchen. We felt so comfortable and very well recovered.

We enjoyed our stay at Eduardo's place very much. The house was just as described in the AirBnb ad. The house is spacious for 10 persons, a well equipped kitchen. One can see that it is also used by the family wich we found very nice and personal, cosy. As it was so early in the season, the house was a bit humid after the winter, but there were radiators to take care of that. Not too far from the village Azetao but the surroundings were fantastic! The national park is so beautiful. The house was also very private and clean.

Friendly, flexible and very accommodating host. Very safe and peaceful neighborhood. No complaints. Very nice stay.

The accommodation is very spacious and pleasant with all the necessary amenities. The neighborhood is very quiet with many shops around including a bakery at the end of the street. The geographical location is excellent and the city of Setúbal really immerses us at the heart of Portuguese life. i would definitely recommend it.

What a gorgeous place. Bit off the beaten track so a car that isn’t too low to the ground is a good idea, but the instructions were excellent so no problems getting there. Plenty of space for a large group to holiday together

Peaceful with a beautiful view of the mountains. The house was perfect for the ten of us. The kids loved the pool and yard to explore. The house is setup so each area of bedrooms can be secluded and the outdoor area is very accommodating for outside eating. When we arrived to the property someone was there to greet us and show us around. Also we were surprised and thrilled to have treats there for us, they were delicious especially the orange Bundt cake. I would definitely rent this house again if I am lucky enough to return to spectacular Portugal.

We only stayed 2 nights and were not present during the day, but the accommodation met our expectations. The house is large with a garden and a large and very nice terrace.

Wow, what an amazing place! A big, beautiful home at the top of a hill in a quiet location with a gorgeous view over fields and forest with the lights of Lisbon in the distance. Incredible sunsets visible over the ocean, afternoon swims, dinner with friends and family at the huge indoor and outdoor dining tables. Day trips down to gorgeous beaches. Just wonderful. Lior was a lifesaver to us after our airbnb fell through last minute — he responded within minutes, got on the phone and met us at a coffee shop before checkin. Totally eased our concerns after being cancelled on. His place was decorated super well, had plenty of space and even a tennis court. Honestly I couldn’t have imagined staying anywhere else.
