Another peaceful, comfortable stay! Springtime in Harney County didn't disappoint. Sitting on the covered front porch, you can hear meadowlarks singing and the cows and calves calling to each other. Our travel had us arriving on the early side of the check-in window. A quick message to Crystal and she indicated everything would be ready for our arrival. She is always so communicative and helpful. Thank you for another wonderful stay!

I took my two dogs to this adorable cabin to get away from the noise of the 4th of July fireworks at home. It was perfect - I've never been anywhere so quiet and peaceful. No neighbors, no noise, just what we wanted!

We were road weary and ready to do some relaxing. We drove up and our family was pleasantly surprised at our accommodations. Patti has a well stocked home and there is thoughtfulness and care it seems setting up their guests for a comfortable experience at her place. Farm fresh eggs? Snacks? Beverages?Above and beyond, beds were comfortable as were the couches, and we were bordering exhaustion from all the activities in the area, so it was nice to have a comfortable home base. Thank you again for everything.

Sumpter is an incredibly peaceful town and this little cabin was so cozy. Parking my truck with small uhaul trailer was a breeze. The Forest Service land up the road was so dreamy to walk around in. Fridge and oven are very nice and the bed was quite comfortable.

We were very pleased with the scenic location and tranquil nature of the cabin provided and Kerri and her partner. The property was very spacious and we were given free rein to explore. Our dogs absolutely loved the place and, after meeting Kerri's dogs and their chickens and horses, I'm sure they were very disappointed to have to leave. While we did not give ourselves enough time to fully explore their little part of the world, the mountains, canyons, and rivers we were able to visit were as amazing as can be expected in that beautiful part of Oregon. The cabin was cozy and warm and had more amenities than we expected for such a rustic and "off-grid" location.

I booked Jody and Dan's place for a birthday weekend getaway. What a great find it was! The location is amazing, and waking up the view of the "wedding cake" was an experience. Not to mention the incredible views of the sky at night. The cabin feels very private and everything you could need for a stay is provided. The host made sure the soaking tub was hot when we arrived, which was a great touch. Nature surrounds the cabin, I enjoyed seeing a variety of birds, including a bunch of quail (so cute), and hearing frogs near the small pond. There were clear instructions to get to the location - which are important because cell service was non-existent for me. All in all staying at stellar cabin provided a much needed respite from the city and I wouldn't hesitate to make the journey back out there.

Tiny house was excellent for a stay to attend local event. Downstairs bedroom had double bed. Kitchen , bathroom and living space small but great . Upstairs bedroom was two comfortable twin mattresses but low headroom was difficult to dress (would be best for children).

This house was absolutely incredible. We were in town for my dad’s memorial service and it made the weekend so much easier. Watching the sunrises was our absolute favorite, so incredible. Thank you for offering such a beautiful place for our family to stay.

Our extended stay at Howie's was great! The space was clean, quiet, and stocked with all of the necessities. Howie was respectful and communicative throughout our stay, going out of his way to shovel and plow the areas during several winter storms we experienced, and continually checking in to ensure our needs were being met. Couldn't have asked for a better host or space to live in for the winter!
