Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Sechelt

This cute, modern condo was quiet and comfortable, and felt like a home away from home. It was a great spot to stay if you are exploring Nanaimo and the surrounding area, or even all of Vancouver Island, as we found it to be a central location. We were travelling with our little dog and there were many trails and walking paths, for walks within the area. The bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen was large and has all your basic needs. Colin was a friendly, responsive host and checkin and out was easy. We would highly recommend Colin's place. We will return again.

Really nice responsive host. Very clean & modern room with a nice view. This was my second time stay at the property and I absolutely love it and will definitely be visiting again soon. The pools and other amenities are very clean and easy to find. The staff on property are very kind and helpful as well.

Travis’ place was perfect for our family’s three nights stay on the Island. He had the single mattress and the pack and play set up for my kids before we arrived. The set up is perfect for a multi generation family trip. We got to really enjoy the amenities such as the pool and the pickle ball court. Would definitely consider renting again here!

Condo is as pictured and described. Very family friendly condo and area. 4 playgrounds with a 10 minute walking distance. Place was clean and had everything we needed. Would stay again.

Even better than the pictures. Amazing view, thoughtfully appointed, and comfortable king sized bed! The property has wonderful amenities including a restaurant, gym, and spa - but it has a small intimate feel. We just wish we could have stayed longer. Hope to come back to this beautiful spot!

Home away from Home, is how I would describe this. From the moment we walked in, we felt like we were not only welcomed there but that we could feasibly own this place. We stayed a total of 5 nights, and were began to feel sad after the 4th night, knowing we would have to leave. Being literal steps from the ocean made for beautiful sunsets and serene mornings. The area is fairly well protected from winds as we were facing a North-West direction. The indoor pool, hot tub, gym and games room are all within a quick 3-minute walk. The indoor pool is very large with a large shallow area for the kiddo's. Indoor pool has a Dry Sauna as well. The hosts, Kimberly and John, are very communicative. There is a provided binder with local amenities and Places of Interest. We took their suggestions and had a wonderful time getting to know the area! All-in-all, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We have officially decided that we will be making Vancouver Island our yearly destination.

John’s place was fantastic. Easy check-in and quick to answer any questions. My wife and I really appreciated the size of the condo and all the amenities. The fireplaces, jetted tub, comfortable king bed, well equipped kitchen and beautiful patio. We took advantage of the on-site amenities including the gym, pool, outdoor hot tub, trails and restaurant. Our stay was awesome and John made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this gem of a condo in beautiful Nanoose Bay.

Our family loved the spacious, bright two bedroom layout! The furnishings are beautiful, and the beds are super comfy. The kitchen was well stocked and the water views from the balconies were a wonderful bonus. The amenities are fantastic, the restaurant is conveniently close, and the pool, gym, and sauna are great additions. The outdoor hot tub feels like a natural hot spring & the 12ac beach front resort allowed for coastal exploration. Tannis was a great host & very friendly. We’ll hope to stay here again in the future.

A second great stay at Lilian's. It was spotlessly clean on arrival as always and we enjoyed the well stocked kitchen again. We even had dinner at the Pacific Moon Rising Restaurant on site this time and had a great meal. We will be back!

This condo was so great! I could live here. It had pretty much anything you could need for a short or long stay. The full kitchen was nice with the full size, 6 person table. There were several condiments, tea and coffee left in the kitchen to use. The bathrooms and beds were beautiful. Even the hide-a-bed was fairly comfortable. The pool, hot tub and gym were in a different building so we only used them once. The beach and walking path were right outside the door. The walk is definitely worth it, even if you don’t have a lot of time. Other than the shoreline, Nanoose Bay is within an hour of many hikes, waterfalls and hidden gems to explore. We didn’t find a bakery or grocery store within walking distance. The closest would be Parksville which is not far. But you do have to drive or set out for a long walk. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area. Thank you!

We loved staying at Jordyn’s place as we went to the Grotto Spa at the tigh na mara very near by. It was convenient to get to the water and close to many amenities. We would be happy to stay there again.

Casa Sunrise worked perfectly for our vacation with our daughter and her family. It gave us each our own space and room to gather and spend time together. Our grandchildren loved the games and coloring book. We all loved exploring the beach and tide pools. And, we took advantage of the easy access to the hot tub, gym and making s’mores in the outdoor fireplace. We would love to return sometime!

Great and peaceful space, nice and quiet in October. Kids friendly 🤸🏻‍♀️amazing facilities at the resort too. Lovely bedrooms. Awesome view of the creek and tides. We can't wait to return again!

We had a fabulous time with our kids at Andrew’s house, it’s situated in a lovely quiet setting with a balcony to take in the magical views of the beach. The house had everything we needed, to enjoy our stay. We had a short walk to the beach and lovely walk in the forest. All local shops within 5mins drive in Parksville and would also hugely recommend the Parksville community park for the kids to burn off energy. I would hugely recommend The Mount Arrowsmith Brewery for lunch , great service .

We stayed at Janet’s place for a couple of nights and had a great experience. She’s a warm, friendly, and thoughtful host. The suite is beautifully decorated and well-equipped with everything you might need for a short stay. The location is excellent—close to the beaches and downtown Gibsons. We truly enjoyed our time and highly recommend it to future guests.

I don’t believe perfection exists, but if I did, I would say the Demitri’s place comes as close as I have ever seen it. Perfect location, perfect apartment with everything one needs for an incredibly comfortable stay. Demitri was a Wonderful host: friendly, responsive and helpful. The best stay we have ever had! Five stars across the board!

The setting, garden and suite are peaceful and beautiful. The suite is bright, spacious and comfortable. The hosts kindly arranged for a high chair for my infant grandson and made our arrival time and departure time a little more flexible to accomodate us which we greatly appreciated. The cedar sauna and weight room were a wonderful bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and highly recommend it.

My first Airbnb guest experience and Nikos our host made it easy and a joy! He was quick to respond and gave thorough directions, parking details and ideas of what to see in the area. We arrived at night and Nikos greeted us from his unit and pointed me to the door and keypad, even ensured the PIN was easy to remember. From the grand double door entrance to the spacious hallway, high ceilings, marble floors and skyline view from the deck this place was palatial and as advertised. The Welcome Book covered everything we needed to know. I hope all Airbnb's will be as well equipped as this one. We were greeted with a bottle of red, some snacks, a fully charged Keurig turnstile, even some condiments and all the kitchen supplies you could imagine. I had a wrinkled shirt and was thrilled to find a professional garment steamer. The TV had Netflix and other paid subscriptions. The 3 of us took advantage of a bathroom each and the beds were very comfortable. Thanks for the stay Nikos!
