TreeHouse is a beautifully designed Manzanita Craftsman style home. Beach access is just 300ft down the quiet, unimproved road. With vaulted kitchen and great room with lounge upstairs, 2 cozy bedrooms and Master Suite downstairs, this "upside down" house feels like a tree house at the beach! Two bedrooms with comfortable beds, comfy high end air bed for the kids, washer and dryer, fully equipped kitchen, electric fireplace, movies, games, new flooring. Need bikes? We have them along with gear for crabbing and clamming. Family & pet friendly.

We spent a week at Jeff and Cathy’s home, shortly after check in we were greeted by Jeff with a thoughtful welcome gift! The home was very cozy and comfortable, all the amenities of home. The view was one of the best features! We saw deer everyday and everything was so peaceful. We definitely will stay here again and possibly for even longer.

Shacktown House was the perfect getaway for our family! We loved how close it was to both the beach and town—just a short walk to everything we needed. The home’s surfing aesthetic gave it a great vibe, and the new modern kitchen made cooking easy and enjoyable. We had a great stay at this Airbnb for a family gathering, and it was fantastic. We couldn't have been happier. Mel was a great host and very responsive. She responded within minutes if we ever had any questions, and offered suggestions for restaurants and things to do. The house was fully equipped for cooking family meals, and within easy walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, and shops. We'll definitely stay there again. I highly recommend this property.

This is a wonderful home base for any trips to Manzanita. The host was very responsive and kind. The house was beautiful, cozy and very clean. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fun board games. The beds were very comfortable. I look forward to staying again someday.

We had a nice stay overall— the house was clean, as described, and had the main features we were looking for: enough space for 6 adults and 2 kids, a hot tub, dog-friendly, and close to the beach. Everything worked as expected and check-in was smooth. That said, for the price, we were hoping for something a bit more updated or special. The home felt a little dated and didn’t quite match the cost in terms of style or overall vibe. Still, it served our needs and we appreciated the location and amenities.

Our family of four had a wonderful stay! Location was incredible, so close to the beach, restaurants, and shops! The outdoor shower and full bath on the main floor really helped clean off after playing in the sand. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the electric fireplace made the living room very cozy. Our two young children slept in the bunk room, which was nicely insulated, making it quieter (stormy weather during our stay), and a bit darker. This was helpful for all of us!!
