I would surely book this place again. The place was very comfortable and had everything we needed, including laundry facilities. The location was great for walking and also a easy close drive to Nicene Marks Forest for a lovely hike. Communication was very pleasant and quick. Loved this stay.

Overall we had a great time at ORV rental. We know the area well and love to visit for the day but this trip we wanted to stay for a couple of days. The apartment was well decorated and very clean. We did have trouble finding the 4 accommodating bath towels for our party of 4 but eventually did locate the remaining two towels. The adjoining guests in the apartment next door were quite loud and the sound very easily traveled into our unit. There’s not much that can be done about that at this point but something to be aware of. Overall we had a great time and would recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Nikki’s! It was clean, quiet, and close to all we wanted to do - perfect for our 2 night visit!

The house is off the beach but a 2 min walk to the coast. We really enjoyed walking to restaurants and stores in Pacific Grove. Very short, easy drive to Asimolar State Beach and the Monterrey Aquarium.

What a beautiful place! If you are looking for "off the beaten path" with access to tourist areas, this is an excellent location. It is not the pristine hotel environment but a charming and unique place to get away from all the hustle and bustle. Follow Susanne's instructions to a "T" and you will have no problems. Hope to come back some day! Great experience.

Well-stocked, simply furnished bungalow-type attached residence in the Seabright neighborhood, convenient to the northeastern residential sections of Santa Cruz and to supermarkets and natural food stores. Many new, easy-to-operate small appliances and good laundry set-up. Ample kitchenware and condiments. Quiet city surroundings, easy parking. Overall, staying at the unit (and interacting with owner) was a pleasure.

The unit was great and exactly as described - very well appointed, clean, well decorated and in a great neighbourhood. Very convenient to places around Santa Cruz and obviously SC is very central to a lot of nice places to visit - SFO, Carmel, Monterey Bay, Silicon Valley. Check-in was easy, appreciate the convenience of a combination entrance, checkout instructions were not onerous, just common sense. All in all, had a great stay, will gladly stay again in Ben's place next time we are in Santa Cruz

I had a fantastic stay! The place was spotlessly clean upon arrival, which made settling in super comfortable. Communication with the host was excellent—quick, clear, and helpful throughout. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking supplies I needed, so making dinner was a breeze. On top of that, the location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach. Highly recommend!

The place was great, literally across the street from the beach, super clean and comfortable, and the best part was the kayak, which we took out in the morning and we were able to see dolphins, sea lions, and otters fantastic!!

We selected the home to celebrate a 60th birthday with siblings. It was perfect for our group of five. We walked (and ran) on the beach, did puzzles, made meals together, and spent quality time just hanging out. Kitchen has everything one could need. Plenty of supplies. Clear instructions and expectations. We’d absolutely return.

We absolutely adored our stay at this charming cottage! From the moment we walked in, we were struck by its perfectly staged design and stylish touches. The owners clearly put a lot of thought into providing great amenities, including a coffee pot, hairdryer, and plenty of soap, making our stay incredibly comfortable. They even gave us a bottle of wine to welcome us to their home! The cottage was also spotlessly clean. We especially enjoyed the fire pit out front for evening relaxation. There was a tenant in a smaller house behind the main one, but they were no bother at all; we barely saw or heard them. The location and neighborhood were fantastic, perfect for leisurely day/nighttime walks with its beautiful plant life, amazing homes and pristine streets. It was also incredibly convenient to walk into town for dinner and shopping. As four close girlfriends, the two bedrooms were ideal for us to double up, and the extra half bath was a huge plus. We highly recommend this listing!

The house was easy to find and check in went exactly as explained. She allowed us to drop off luggage early which was very helpful. House is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast recommendation was amazing!! Only wish is that I could try their lunch too. Checking out was quick and easy. I recommend this property and hope I get a chance to revisit it.

This was our third year using Donna’s home for our week-long annual trip to the Monterey peninsula. We have always been pleased with our stay, and this year was no different. Donna’s home has everything a family or group could need. The home has always been clean and tidy. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood, and very close to most of the points of interest in this area including golf courses, the popular Monterey Bay Aquarium/Fisherman’s Wharf, and Laguna Seca Raceway. Her communication has been friendly and clear - no troubles to speak of. If you are considering a stay in this area, either short or longer term, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it!

Our stay was wonderful. Our two girls especially did not want to leave. Everything was so comfortable and clean, we loved the toys and books, and the projector set up. The architecture and remodeling was beautiful. Appreciate the lack of tacky artwork on the walls. Tracie and Dave were such generous hosts. Hope to be back, thank you!

We had a family wedding to attend in Monterey and needed a pet friendly place for our group of 11. The Bixby House was absolutely perfect. Our hostess Anna was great, responding immediately to any questions we had. She had left some very special gifts for the four kids in our group, which was really thoughtful. We couldn’t have been happier about our stay. Thanks, Anna and John.

Amazing views of the Pajaro River and Pacific Ocean. Short walk (300 yards) to the beach along a boardwalk or enjoy the views from the livingroom through the large picture windows or deck. Perfect for a couple or young family (the two twin beds in the second bedroom are quite small but my 20 something daughters had no complaints). Abundant bird watching opportunities along with the occasional sea lion\seal and otter.

This stay is absolutely amazing. Comfy bed and furniture. Stocked Kitchen. Steps to the beach. Closet full of beachy things. We had fun flying the kite. Built bonfires just over the dune on the beach. 🏖️ Don’t hesitate to book. This place is it.

Staying at this Airbnb was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and thoughtfulness—fresh local flowers, many beautiful books related to the neighborhood in reading material. The space was immaculately clean, beautifully designed, with everything I could need—toiletries to fast Wi-Fi .The host went above and beyond, checking in to ensure everything was perfect. It felt less like a rental and more like a five-star boutique hotel with the heart of a home. I truly didn’t want to leave!” This is a real heartfelt space in the middle of my home town that provided the soulful connection to home.

My family of 4 had a wonderful stay! The pictures didn't do it justice - all the upgrades were well worth it and my family thoroughly enjoyed the stay there. My was very responsive and helpful. So glad we found it! Would definitely stay there again.

Lisa was very friendly and responsive. She not only provided clear instructions, flexible check-in, but also shared many great local dinning options, which were super helpful for our family of five. The condo was kept spotless with comfortable king size bed, bunkbed that my boys love, a beautiful swirling love seat that my daughter loved to sit in while watching sea birds catching fish using the binocular provided! Our family specifically loved the fireplace on the balcony. It was just perfect for us to enjoy the cozy night chatting and laughing by the fire while listening to the ocean waves NorCal beaches can be very chilling at night. We’ve stayed at Pajaro Dunes before, but it’s been decades ago. Marc’s place was perfectly situated for privacy and views and was very clean and well appointed. The peacefulness and serenity were exactly what we were looking for. The beachy feel of the furnishings was charming and the unit included all that we needed including an upgraded and well furnished kitchen, a gas fireplace, a comfortable, king size bed and other essentials like extra blankets and a Kuerig coffee maker. Our only difficulty was when inadvertently trying to use the TV remote to change channels…Don’t Do That, Use the cable remote like it says in the instructions. Spent a thoroughly enjoyable four days here with side trips to Monterey and Carmel. Perfect home base for dining out and exploring the coast, and an excellent, proactive host.

It was a great stay. We loved our time there and would definitely visit again.

As described, great location walkable easily to shops/restaurants/beach. Quiet location and thoughtful extras like makeup removal wipes, qtips, and popcorn.
