We loved our stay at this stunning modern home tucked away in the Santa Cruz hills. The house feels completely private and secluded, surrounded by nature, yet it’s only about 15 minutes from town and the beach — the best of both worlds. Everything was beautifully designed, high-end, and spotless. The pool was a highlight for my kids. Perfect spot to unwind and still be close to everything. Would absolutely stay again!

Fantastic location and home for a family get-away. Much to see and do on site and in the local area. The home is very comfortable and welcoming with all the amenities you might need and more. Can’t wait to book again!

We had a wonderful time during our recent stay at Sean's place. The house is so spacious and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We especially loved the large kitchen; it never felt crowded, even with a few of us in there at once. We also really appreciated how well-equipped the kitchen was with all the pots, pans, plates, and other essentials we needed. Our kids absolutely adored the pool area! It was beautiful and private, and they had so much fun with the basketball hoop. They also loved watching the hummingbirds at the backyard water fountain and the rabbits hopping around in the garden. Overall, we had an amazing stay. Thanks for hosting us!

We had a lovely weekend with our family celebrating a birthday. The place was perfect for hosting 6 of us, walking to the beach and then driving up to Capitola and other towns very close by for celebration dinners. We enjoyed staying here and would definitely recommend others to consider for a beach getaway.

Cute house. Would advise driving during daylight tho, the roads are extremely windy and challenging at night. We had a tough time driving up in the dark. The amenities like hot tub were great. House was as described! Easy to use amenities. Would advise bringing a jacket on April.

The place was great, literally across the street from the beach, super clean and comfortable, and the best part was the kayak, which we took out in the morning and we were able to see dolphins, sea lions, and otters fantastic!!

We selected the home to celebrate a 60th birthday with siblings. It was perfect for our group of five. We walked (and ran) on the beach, did puzzles, made meals together, and spent quality time just hanging out. Kitchen has everything one could need. Plenty of supplies. Clear instructions and expectations. We’d absolutely return.

The stay was perfect, would definitely stay here again! The space was great, clean! Perfect for two! The half bath is fine for average height folk, might be a bit of adjusting for taller people, but very manageable! I would definitely recommend!

We absolutely adored our stay at this charming cottage! From the moment we walked in, we were struck by its perfectly staged design and stylish touches. The owners clearly put a lot of thought into providing great amenities, including a coffee pot, hairdryer, and plenty of soap, making our stay incredibly comfortable. They even gave us a bottle of wine to welcome us to their home! The cottage was also spotlessly clean. We especially enjoyed the fire pit out front for evening relaxation. There was a tenant in a smaller house behind the main one, but they were no bother at all; we barely saw or heard them. The location and neighborhood were fantastic, perfect for leisurely day/nighttime walks with its beautiful plant life, amazing homes and pristine streets. It was also incredibly convenient to walk into town for dinner and shopping. As four close girlfriends, the two bedrooms were ideal for us to double up, and the extra half bath was a huge plus. We highly recommend this listing!

Sam's cottage was the perfect accommodation for our trip to Carmel — comfortable, cozy, and complete with all the amenities we needed. Getting to town is a pleasant walk along a sidewalk path — no car needed! It was also convenient having laundry and a fully stocked kitchen. Thank you, Sam!

Elizabeth was at the property wrapping up a couple things when I arrived early. She was welcoming and friendly allowing me to get settled while she finished up. The house is really cute and worked well for our purposes, shared accomodations for a conference with a collegue. The kitchen was well stocked for making meals with breakfast/coffee/fruit available as well. Each bedrooms has a bathroom next door and are separated (split level) which worked well for us. The driveway accomodates one car and there was plenty of street parking. The house is close to a commercial strip with all kinds of restaurants, shops and cafe. One can hear street noise such as trash pick up on Wednesday morning and unloading at the cafe around the corner. I was able to walk to Monterey with the majority of it on the bike/walking path which was really enjoyable.

The place was absolutely amazing. I so loved the house, It was quite & quaint. I would absolutely do it again. Only wish Check out time was a bit later maybe 1-2 pm insted of 11am. Will book again in the near future.

Loved everything about our stay at Briana’s home. Felt like staying in a brand new home; everything was very clean and thoughtfully stocked. Our kids loved the playroom and beach toys. The neighborhood is quiet and very close to major shopping (Costco, Target). We would definitely stay here again.

I can't imagine writing a review that would accurately describe the experience at Munir's home. He thought of everything! We drove about 7, maybe 8 hours. When we arrived, we were exhausted but the lights were on, blinds open so we could begin the experience before we walked in the door. The refrigerator was stocked and the beds were so comfortable! When we woke in the morning, we got the full picture! Everything is close to his home, so it is convenient for sightseeing, shopping, hiking...etc... Munir's home is so warm and comfy, instead of dining out, we were content to hang out with the dogs and enjoy! Munir's warmth and attention to detail made this trip better than we could have imagined! Thank you Munir!!!

A very nice home for a stay with a moderately sized family. Very good walkable restaurants from the house. A very short drive away from the aquarium, felt very safe with the kids playing in the yard it was enclosed.

We had a family wedding to attend in Monterey and needed a pet friendly place for our group of 11. The Bixby House was absolutely perfect. Our hostess Anna was great, responding immediately to any questions we had. She had left some very special gifts for the four kids in our group, which was really thoughtful. We couldn’t have been happier about our stay. Thanks, Anna and John.
