Vacation rentals with lake access in Sea of Japan

I had a wonderful time forgetting my daily routine and relaxing. This time it's a trip for two couples.The purpose was to take a break from my usual life and work and relax.Before you leave, can you switch your mood properly?I was a little worried, but the moment I arrived at this inn and entered, my worries disappeared. The accommodation was very clean and spacious, and I felt the comforting warmth of wood.It was a soothing space where the word "tadaima" (I'm back) came out naturally when I came back from going out. I didn't have much of a sightseeing plan, but thanks to the information provided by the host, Erize, and the guidebook in the accommodation, I was able to go to a nearby hot spring, jog along Lake Toyako, and enjoy the beautiful view from the summit of Mt. Arashiro. Thanks to Elise and this wonderful place, I had a really relaxing time.Thank you very much.

amazing place felt right at home in a lovely tradicional japanese house that I would bring home if I could. the hosts are really careful an attentive, the lake and surroundings are just beautiful

We had a lovely stay in Otsu at Shizuka’s lovely Japanese house. The place was well appointed with everything one would need right down to a brand new bicycle! While we did not cook a meal while we were there, the kitchen had everything we needed and was well described. Shizuka even brought us a pour over coffee maker when I asked if there was a coffee maker. I didn’t realize there was one already in the kitchen and the next morning she delivered another one. I would highly recommend this place if you want something away from the crowds of Kyoto but still within a short walk and a quick train ride.

The place was really good to stay at. If you're staying in Winter and Spring where the weather is colder, walking to the accommodation would be great! As the walk from the nearest train station is quite a distance, might not wanna do it during summer. But the place is really cozy and homely. Facilities and amenities were great too!

The house really nice and fit for small family, if you are looking for quiet and peace are it will be good choice 👍🏻 you will feel like living a real Japanese life

This home is great for our stay at kawaguchiko, within 10 minutes walk from kawaguchiko station. we rented a 7 seater mpv and there's plenty of parking space next to the property. the house is in a quiet neighbourhood off the main street and has views of mount fuji for all 3 rooms. the rooms are clean and the heaters heat up quickly so no issue for cold temperature at night. the owner madam yip is a nice lady who lives just a few houses away and check upon us when we arrive and leave. we are able to communicate with cantonese. do note there's only 1 shower and toilet so if you are coming in a large group do plan your bathroom schedule accordingly😆

What a great place to stay, very near to Kawaguchiko station. Can see Mount Fuji from 2nd floor. If I may, maybe the owner could prepare complementary coffee or tea. Otherwise all is well.

Nice hosts who are very friendly:) we were allowed to use bicycles with which we explored the area, great location, clean accommodation as well as beautiful views of the Mt. Fuji. In addition, we were picked up at the train station and finally dropped off. I highly recommend 👍🏽

The accommodation was so pretty as shown in the photos The view was beautiful, and the interior was nice. And Dyson Airlab, hair dryer, hand There was even a dryer, so I was able to reduce my luggage, and it was so nice to have a massage chair!! The accommodation was clean and there were enough towels.

Depending on the room, you can hear some car noise, but overall I am satisfied. If I come next time, I want to use it again.

It's close to the station. It took about 10 minutes to walk, and the view was amazing!! The view of Seokchon Lake was the best! And it's right in front of the lake, so it's good for a night walk. There are many Bangi-dong restaurants if you walk and sightsee, and they are easy to get to. I was so satisfied. I'll visit again next time I come!

I only leave a review after arriving at the owner's house. I rested so comfortably today. Thanks so much

We had a relaxing time in a very beautiful location and a clean mansion.

We had a wonderful stay at Loris Cottage. The place was clean, tidy, and fully equipped with everything we needed for cooking and daily use. The highlight was waking up and having breakfast on the balcony with a stunning view of Mount Fuji—truly marvellous and felt almost unreal. We also enjoyed walking and using the bicycles provided to explore around the lake, which made the experience even more special. The only challenge was accessing the main area, as it required climbing quite a steep staircase. It might be tiring for those with heavy luggage or for elderly guests, so it’s something to consider. Aside from that, everything was excellent and exceeded our expectations. The peaceful atmosphere, thoughtful touches, and the unforgettable view made our stay truly memorable. We had a great time and would absolutely love to return if we visit Fuji again in the future. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a scenic and peaceful getaway.

The owner is very kind, and he is very good at recommending restaurants and cafes to go to in Chuncheon! I also modified the place I was going to go to and went to restaurants or cafes as recommended by the owner, and I was very satisfied. It's a local owner, so he let me know:) I had such a great time!

I came here as a last healing trip before my friend joined the military. It was really the best. The house is so pretty and the air is good Thanks to the facilities suitable for barbecue and the kind and always quick responses of the host, the young people in their 20s who didn't know anything enjoyed it without any problems. I think it's essential to have a car, whether it's a rental car or your own, and it would be a little easier to check the market in advance. Two thumbs up.

The host was so kind and the place was tidy The stars in the night sky are so pretty and quiet, so it's enough to have time for two.

It was the accommodation I chose for a family trip, and my family, my parents, and my brother and wife were all satisfied ~!! The grocery store was close, the sea was close, and the restaurants were close, so the accessibility was perfect ~ If I come to Sokcho next time, it's an accommodation I want to come again ~ ^ ^ Sir, I'll eat the walnuts you took care of ~!! Our family of 8 spent a very unforgettable day in this very Japanese and innovative house... we were deeply attracted to the house as soon as we entered... we arrived a little late... but the owner still received us very warmly... and reminded us to be careful on the way... because it snowed at Yamanakako that day... our family's first experience with snow was here... we were really mesmerized by the beautiful snowy scenery... although we couldn't see Mt. Fuji, we still got a veryBeautiful snowy scenery... all the internet-famous check-in spots near Lake Yamanakako are very close... but this time we didn't have the chance to see the beautiful Mt. Fuji... I hope to have the chance to come to this house again in the future... and then enjoy the different scenery of Mt. Fuji... I highly recommend everyone to stay in this cozy and comfortable homestay... there will be a next time only if there is regret...

The owner was very kind and I went with my dog, and he really liked it. There was also a valley right in front, so I had fun with the puppy. There were many benches to sit on, and the sound of the water right in front was peaceful:) The garden was also spacious, so I had fun running around.
