If you want a true Japanese experience, stay here! If you want super easy access to the train station (quick jaunts to arashiyama bamboo forest or Golden Pavilion for example), stay here. If you want great neighborhood restaurants, stay here. We loved our time, thank you!!

If you want the feeling of a real Kyoto accommodation, I recommend this place. It's not far from Kyoto Station, the surroundings are quiet, and there are local restaurants, so I recommend it. However, the surroundings are dark for women only to stay, and the accommodation is inside the alley, so you should consider it. The accommodation itself is so perfect.

We had a wonderful time at Yoriko's house. Yoriko was an amazing host. The house was very comfortable, well equipped and had very generous breakfast ingredients, including ingredients for home made bread. Yoriko very kindly booked restaurants for us and gave us lots of tips in what to do. The house is within walking distance of the town centre. We enjoyed a hike up mount Bizen, and drove to temple 13 and walked from there to temples 14 and 15. We also visited The Naruto whirlpool. Great place to spend a few days. Wish we had more time.

the location is very close to the station 200 metres. supermarket nearby. restaurants mc donald nearby. very well maintained. friendly host. had a wonderful time with my family. thank you so much....will stay again.

Location was great!! Only 5 minutes away from the station and all the nearby attraction. It is an old japanese Machiya so yes while its not perfect you are able to experience what is it like living in the past with some modern amenities. Its big enough for our family of 7 though the stairs abit narrow and you can only open your luggage downstairs in order not to ruin the tatami mat. But you are here to explore Kyoto city and Ta's place make the perfect base!

The futons were of such high quality, soft, and incredibly comfortable to sleep on. I had the best night’s rest of my life! I would highly recommend visiting this place just to enjoy a good night's sleep. The house is absolutely beautiful! It is well-maintained. There are good air conditioners, so staying warm was not a problem. The furniture and decorations are so lovely and elegant. If you love nature, this place is perfect for you. There is plenty of wildlife just outside the house. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area and observing all the different animals. The bathroom is very fancy and modern. Everything was sparkling clean and spacious. I highly recommend visiting, especially for the chance to enjoy a relaxing bath! To top it all off, the host is exceptionally kind! She is welcoming, helpful, and warm. When we arrived late at night, the futons were already laid out and prepared for us. We were so happy staying here. Thank you again, Nao-Sama, for having us! ^^

Overall it was an excellent experience staying at Anita's place. The place was so clean (there's no dust at all!) with complete amenities. Anita was also very responsive and friendly. She provided very clear instruction (+ immigration instruction) with youtube videos which make live easier. She also gave us free ride to the airport. We are so thankful for the very kind gesture of her and her husband. Hope we can stay again at her place in the future!

We loved our stay at Daniel’s apartment in Iwatake! Everything was as described & pictured. Pick up and drop off to station great - as was the food shop at the start. All staff friendly. The drying room was very good and something we didn’t even know was a MUST! The new Gondala was very nice and the view from the top of the mountain was stunning. The ski lift near the apt did not open when we were there even tho there was so much snow which was disappointing. Daniel always responded to questions friendly and quickly and I would recommend these apartments for skiing families. Beds and amenities were great - the washer and dryer also handy. The apts are quite a distance away from most things in Hakuba (good and bad)- it cost me $50aud round trip to go to the shops (10 mins) to get some good and there really is not many restaurants or food close by and the cheap taxi would not collect from the apts. Some other guests were noisy and could be heard through walls. Would love to come back

I had a comfortable stay. Host is very responsive, I had a last minute request to check in early and host responded very quickly despite the wee hours of the morning and accommodated my request. The space is small but comfortable for a person and it's very quiet. I will be happy to stay at this place again in the future!

Mari’s place in Okayama is now part of my top 3 favorite places I’ve stayed while visiting in Japan so far! I loved how communicative she was leading up to my stay and during my time there as well. Having an available parking spot at the premises was a great thing to have during my first time experience in renting a car in Japan. She also provided a bicycle for use during my stay which I loved and took advantage of. 😁 The area is very nice and quiet as well and driving around in the city of Okayama for my first time was a great experience. The place was amazing and it also came with a CD player and some CD’s to play as well! I thought this was a nice touch to the place and made Okayama feel like a home I’ve always known. There’s lots to do in the area, the locals are really nice, and the Okayama Prefectural Museum and Castle is all within walking distance. I will definitely be booking Mari’s place again for a longer period of time soon! Thank you Mari! 🖤✌🏾

The place was a bit hard to find but our overall experience has been easy and convenient! There is also a Lawson just below the building which made our amenities a whole lot easier! All the appliances provided have been very handy as well, and the beds and linens feel very comfy, highly recommend this place if you plan to chill in Dotonbori!

Our family had an amazing stay at the Tacto House. Noriko and her son were wonderful hosts and made our experience exceptional, they went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome—from thoughtful local recommendations to small personal touches that really showed how much they care, we cannot thank Noriko enough for her kindness. The space was clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Communication was quick and easy, and it was clear that they genuinely wanted us to have a great stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again —highly recommend!

This was a great place to stay in Gotanda, not far from the station with lots of shops nearby. The flat was a nice size with plenty of amenities. Julian was a very helpful and friendly host too who was happy to help with any questions we had and allow for an easy check in.

We stayed here for four nights and found it quite comfortable. The location is very convenient and within walking distance to a lot of attractions. The neighborhood itself was cute. The host was also very communicative and responsive. Overall, it was a good stay.

I heard you had a good stay again, but I do everything and only my parents like it. When can I go? Anyway, the accommodation is spacious and the barbecue is good.

We had a lovely time and were right next to the Meguro Station so everything was a train ride away! There are a couple of conbinis nearby and the Meguro River is near too.

A great place to stay in Tokyo — spacious, cozy, and clean. The location was a dream: just a few minutes’ walk from Meguro Station, making it effortless to explore the city by train. The hosts were friendly and welcoming and we would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Tokyo! 😊
