Family-friendly vacation rentals in Scott County

My family and I selected Aaron and Colleen as hosts based on their five-star rating and safe location. However, we received more than what was expected. The first day, we were met with a personalized note, chocolates, and drinks in the fridge, including homemade cold brew! Such a thoughtful touch made us feel right at home. We were busy with family activities in the city, so we didn’t use the Peloton, hot tub, or sauna as expected. Still, returning to immaculate, extremely comfortable, stylish accommodation was lovely. The mattress was perfect! We also enjoyed listening to various records on the record player while playing cards and board games; it felt nostalgic. We enjoyed our stay, to say the least, and hope to revisit our experience at some future time.

This is by far the cleanest Airbnb ever. Since we are a group of snorers, we had to try out the 2 couches in the adorable nooks and they were perfect. Appreciated the electrical outlets. All typical travel issues that I usually encounter were solved here. Stay at Aaron and Colleen’s. You won’t regret it.

The rave reviews are true! Perfect and spacious home for our multigenerational family stay for Carleton College’s graduation weekend. Thoughtful details abound and the home is supplied with every creature comfort imaginable. The back porch and relaxing room off the main bedroom had beautiful views of trees and birds (and squirrels!) eating from the birdfeeders. Barry was the perfect host and answered all of our questions promptly. We hope to be back next time we are in the area. Thank you!

It was even nicer than the photos, with a beautiful back yard, fun pool table, very clean. Jill was very responsive.

This well-equipped home is the perfect base for exploring Minneapolis. It's convenient to lots of activities and restaurants, but a tranquil spot to relax with plenty of space both inside and outside. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed the experience of the tree house. Very clean, everything we needed to stay was there,kitchen,bathrooms,accessories. Beautiful setting,fun experience.

The hosts, Katie and Curt, were very friendly and responsive. The hot tub on the patio was a big bonus. I also enjoyed relaxing in the hammock and watching the trolley go by through the woods ($3 to take the short historic ride). And just a few minutes to walk to Lake Harriet pavilion to take in some live music or walk around the lake. I’m excited to come back sometime for this relaxing get-away!

What a charming, cozy and spotless cottage in a very private setting! The description was on point! Very quiet, wonderful neighbors and accessible to parks, restaurants, shopping, etc. Communication with the host was excellent with any concerns! She was lovely to chat with. The house was charming, and had lots of amenities. The kitchen had more pots and pans, silverware, appliances than I’ve ever seen at any other Airbnb where we’ve stayed. It was awesome!! Having use of the garage is also rare, and it was so convenient. We were there in the spring, and it would be really helpful in the winter. Kudos to excellent hosts for making the atmosphere so friendly and warm.

Beautiful bungalow in a quiet, residential area of Minneapolis. It was a relaxing spot to return to after a busy day in the city. We also enjoyed how close the location is to the restaurants and shops at 50th and France.

The place was solid. We loved the location and loved that we could bring our doggies along w us. The kitchen pretty much had everything you could need, and the bathroom was even stocked with sanitary supplies, which I thought was a sweet touch. The house is wacky, but in a cool good way. I’d be back for sure.

The apartment was great! The neighborhood is very nice, beautiful, and walkable, very close to the university. The check-in was smooth. It was amazing for our weekend trip to the Twin Cities.

Felt very homey, very quiet, nice lake location. Safe. Neighbors yards are really messy but that didn't bother us. Host was really nice.

What a wonderful stay! My husband and I spent a week scouting neighborhoods for our upcoming move to the area, and this was a perfect place central to everything we needed. Brenda and Brian were very responsive, and it's apparent that they put a lot of thought into the unit. We bumped into Brian the day before our departure (they live in the downstairs unit) when he was working in the garage, and had a lovely conversation. You can tell they really enjoy hosting, and we will absolutely recommend friends and family book this when they come to visit us after our move. The parking spot in the back is a great bonus, and we felt very safe here. There's a busy street nearby, but we weren't ever really bothered by traffic noise inside. We walked around the neighborhood at night and felt very safe as well. Lovely tree lined streets all around too.

It was great! Maybe not for the very tall due to some of the duct work but the location met our needs. The neighborhood was beautiful and the location as close to local shops. We recommend trying "Our kitchen" for breakfast

We’ve stayed in a number of Airbnbs in Minneapolis/St Paul, and Daniel’s definitely stands out. The apartment is sunny and spacious, with a big and well-equipped kitchen. The bathroom is lovely, and taking a bath at the end of a long day was fantastic! Daniel was responsive and very easy to work with. We very much enjoyed our stay and will be back. Thanks, Daniel!

This was our 4th stay at Mel and John’s place. One our favorite Airbnbs. Very friendly hosts who are super responsive. Apartment has a fully stocked kitchen with all you need to prepare meals. Lovely neighborhood with great access to a large park with lots of great trails and access to other parks. Easy access for the Minnesota state fair

Alison's place is in a great location for a stay in the Uptown neighborhood. We had a wonderful short stay and enjoyed the lush and private back yard. Short walks to great restaurants and the lakes.
