Old Gardener’s House – a waterside paradise

The former gardener’s house, originally built in 1710, is nestled in the stunning natural landscape of the picturesque Holsteinische Schweiz, directly on the Schwentine River, one of Schleswig-Holstein’s longest rivers. In 2025, the house was lovingly restored with meticulous attention to detail. The result is a true gem situated directly opposite Schleswig-Holstein’s oldest manor estate. The surrounding landscape of lakes, fields, forests, and gentle hills lends the area its captivating charm.

In beautiful Kappeln/Kopperby we rent a very special spacious holiday home near the Schlei and Baltic Sea with a large garden, two private lakes and a whole 4 hectares of pure nature. We welcome you to our new, newly renovated house. Our house is bright and modernly furnished and has a large, sunny garden with lots of flowers and fruit trees, where you can relax wonderfully. The house is situated in a quiet environment and yet centrally located. The city center, shops, cafes and swimming areas are even minutes away on foot. It is the ideal starting point for your activities in Plön and Holstein Switzerland to the Baltic Sea coast.

Relax in this special and quiet place. You will have your own lake access with jetty, canoe, rowboat and kayaks as well as two e-bikes. In the tent on the shore of the lake you will find a table, chairs as well as paddles and pads for the boats. From the spacious terrace (100 sqm) you can enjoy the wonderful view of the lake. Plön is 2 km away for shopping; Lake Trammer has a connection to Lake Trent and from there you can reach the small Lake Plön.

Our bakery is located directly on Lake Plön, nestled in the courtyard and holiday home complex of the Nehmten estate in beautiful Schleswig-Holstein. The house is about 90 m² and individually furnished with a lot of love for detail to feel comfortable at any time of the year. On the terrace with direct lake views, you can start the day relaxed and unwind wonderfully. Two other beautiful apartments are located in the dairy next door.

Our house with garden is located a few meters away from the shore of the Baltic Sea fjord Schlei - in the small, cute Weseby. The Scandinavian-style house is bright and fully equipped. Great for couples and families. Kids can run around freely here. Weseby is considered a "place of rest" - here you can really relax, enjoy nature & water or be active and surf, paddle, sail, swim, hike, cycle, jog, ride, golf or simply do nothing.

Our lovingly furnished and approx. 50 sqm vacation home Hinterm Deich is located in an absolutely quiet location and just a few meters away from the Schleiufer. The Baltic Sea can also be reached in no time! Enjoy long walks, eventful bike tours or relaxing beach visits – because all this and much more is offered by the charming and cozy town of Kappeln, as well as the surrounding towns and cities!

Hiking trails around the lake. There are swimming spots on the lake that are within walking distance. Schleswig is known for its old town and the trading metropolis of Haitabu from the 8th century AD.

On the edge of the organic farm Gut Hohenhain is our newly expanded vacation home "Haus Seeblick". Modern, bright and friendly, the semi-detached house impresses with its proximity to the manor, forest and sea. A view over fields to the Baltic Sea gave this property its name. Nestled in green spaces, our holiday guests enjoy quiet independence with the proximity to life on a farm.

We rent a cozy, vacation cottage close to Lake Selent, in the middle of one of the most beautiful vacation regions of Schleswig-Holstein. The house was completely renovated in 2018 and is bright and modernly furnished. It is located in a large garden with an orchard and has its own terrace. It is only bathing area on the lake. 100 meters and 17 kilometers to the Baltic Sea.
