A perfect place to stay for our family where the teens could find some space to themselves in Hannes’ spacious apartment - including a second bathroom. Everything is at the doorstep of this accommodation and Hannes’ tips on which restaurants to go to are spot on. We appreciated the extra effort to let us know whether biking was an option at the time of year and the suggestion of taking the ferry from Melk to Krems made our stay extra special. We’d loved to have been able to stay longer to explore the surrounding vineyards and area. Spotless, spacious, central apartment in Melk.

I actually only wanted a week for myself, in nature, to go on vacation alone and looked for a suitable place to stay. Saw the pictures and booked without researching. It was probably meant to be! And! It exceeded everything. My first solo vacation was not only wonderfully beautiful, in this special place, but was also supposed to give me a lot! I was able to get to know Ernst, a wonderful, loving and giving person. 🙏 I was able to experience meditating with Ernst and doing yoga together with him. ☺️ My days of hiking and cycling in the mountains and on the Danube were impressive and energizing. But the place and Ernst, where I was allowed to be, gave me energy and joy. Thanks 🙏🍀

Perfect house for a family with two children. The location is peaceful, with incredible scenery and plenty of hiking opportunities nearby. Alexandra is a wonderful host; we'll be back!

A perfect house for us! It was very clean and spacious. The wood fire was cozy since it was chilly while we were there. The small village it is in is picturesque and we really enjoyed strolling through it and using the playground right across the street. The river is also across the street and there is a nice beach area. I would definitely stay here again if I return to the area!
