Downtown and train station are also only about 30 minutes walk away. Cathedral square concerts, musicals in the city castle or the events at the Hessentag 2026 can be reached in 2 minutes by bus or relaxed on foot. With us, you have it quiet but still close to the city.

A thermal bath with salt cave is 13 km away (Bad Salzhausen).

There are no shopping facilities in the village. In Borken and Frielendorf (both 6 km away), you will find possibilities to shop. Our village is surrounded by woods and invites you to go hiking.
