Dear potential guests, Whether in transit, for a short break or for longer - our apartment is quickly accessible and a good place to relax in the evening - on the balcony with a view or in front of the blazing fire in the fireplace. The sofa bed in the living room is very comfortable, so you can sleep well in two rooms. In the village, there is a nice outdoor pool and good gastronomy - surrounded by a lot of forest. Our café serves breakfast weekdays from 6 AM and on weekends from 7 AM.

In the middle of the Rhön Biosphere Reserve, you will find the newly renovated vacation home, also known as “Hühnerhuis” in family circles. Here you can experience unique sunrises. If you want to enjoy absolute peace, this is the place to be! Hiking trails, bike trails, and various attractions are very close. Among other things, alpaca hikes are possible directly in the village. Just ask us about excursion destinations and we will be happy to help you. Pets are not allowed.

We were with a group of 13 and enjoyed the accommodation immensely. In the house there was enough to keep us busy, I am thinking of the great sauna and swimming pond but also the extensive range of board games, toys, chess board and poker set. It is a very charming house that is modern where it should be. The area was beautiful and even more beautiful than in the picture. You can take a very nice walk directly from the garden and you are really in nature. This is definitely recommended!

We used the accommodation as a starting point for a family visit. It is a nice, very new and absolutely clean accommodation, with everything you need. There was even a coffee and tea preparation and Iris had put drinks in the fridge for us. The communication with Iris was easy and accommodating - the reception was also very warm and straightforward. The beds were amazingly comfortable - we slept great! Otherwise, many small items were also available (shower gel, games, hair dryer, etc.). You also have to highlight the good WiFi - which was necessary, because we definitely had no network, which was also quite nice :-) Fulda can be reached very easily by car in 20 minutes and it is really worth a visit. We will be happy to come back if we are back in the area.

The apartment is much nicer than the photos can show! Fantastic! Super equipped, EVERY detail has been thought of! Great documentation about the apartment and the surroundings (hiking!). Good access to hiking trails, right behind the house is the beautiful area! Short walk to the old town (a bit steep, but if you are fit, you can take it as a fitness workout!). Christian and Anja are super nice and helpful, greeted us personally, live downstairs in the house, are accessible, but leave you full privacy. However, there is also a key safe if the arrival is inconvenient. Just leave the keys in the apartment when you leave. The area is really nicely laid out, holidays in Germany, great! The brand new suspension bridge, Kneipp basin barefoot paths, forest bathrooms, the ball tracks, also for the young at heart, made it easy to have fun! For families with children, too. We - 3 hiking-loving friends - will definitely be back, no matter what time of year!
