Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Schiphol

Lovely space to stay in. Clean and comfortable and picturesque location.

We stayed a few nights with our 2 small kids, mainly to visit Amsterdam, and had a wonderful time. The house was great for us, very clean, enough space for everyone, very nice neighbourhood and restaurants and shops were close by bike or walking. We took the car to the nearest train station (Bussum Zuid) with free parking but without kids and less rain, walking would also have been easily possible. Jaap was very friendly and helpful and we felt very welcome. We would happily come again!

Lovely stay in a beautiful location with easy access to Amsterdam using public transport. Very helpful hosts with frequent communication answering any questions and even booking dinner on our behalf. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing stay in the heart of Holland. The place was very convenient and easy to use. Ellen has bikes available for rent and that was extremely convenient and tons of fun.

Very charming house by the river. Great location to visit Amsterdam. Beds really comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Great sound system. We spent good times and Katelijne is a great host. She is very responsive and helpful.

Despite the weather, we had a very cozy time and certainly enjoyed ourselves! The beds were wonderful, the shower was fine and everything we needed was present – even for music. The fridge and freezer worked perfectly and the atmosphere was really very pleasant. A small downside: in the small room we miss bed lights, that would make it just a bit more complete. And unfortunately, of course, the weather did not cooperate, because with sun it is probably very enjoyable there by the water. There is not much to do in the area, but for us that was not a problem – it certainly did not depress our fun. In short: we have enjoyed!* Best, the Keezen girls

Great stay at Annimek’s place. The house is gorgeous, lots of natural light, and plenty of room to stretch out. The patio out back was a great place to enjoy morning coffee & evening drinks. Only downside is that it’s a bit far from downtown, so rides into town were a bit pricey, which made it harder to see as much. Also, not too many restaurants or cafes around. We did love the potato stand by the windmill and we were thankful that there was a grocery store near by. The neighborhood was peaceful and beautiful, and overall we loved our stay.

The first thing I have to say is Sophie and Pieter are clearly lovely people. We were late because of traffic but Sophie waited for us and gave a warm and very helpful welcome. Secondly, the apartment is a real home from home. The kitchen has all the equipment you need if you want to dine at home. Throughout the apartment everything was clean and functional as well as being well designed and attractive. Thirdly, the location is excellent. The tram runs regularly on the Overtoom and gets you right into the centre in 20 easy minutes. On the other side is the Vondelpark, which is a slice of real Amsterdam that many people would miss, which is a shame as it’s fantastic. The bar run by the brewery was a real find for us. Around you are a number of excellent places to eat and drink on both sides of the park and into the centre. Finally I am going to return to Sophie and Pieter - honestly you could not get better hosts. Thank you very much - we intend to return.

Fabulous place in the heart of Amsterdam! Easy to walk to most places, and the tram was close if you want to venture out further. Our family enjoyed people watching from the big open Dutch windows. Very beautiful location. Hosts were friendly, and quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommend!

Such a lovely stay! This place was exactly what we needed — peaceful, cozy, and away from all the city noise. The cottage is super cute, clean, and has everything you need. Loved waking up to the sounds of farm animals, and it’s close to some handy local grocers too. The host, Marit was amazing — super responsive and really made us feel welcome. Highly recommend if you’re looking to unplug, recharge, and enjoy a bit of countryside bliss. We’d definitely come back!

The stay at Marjolein and Michiel's was exceptionally nice and cozy. Quietly located, beautiful ambiance with private pond terrace and garden. Ideal for cycling tours to the World Heritage Site to the mills in Kinderdijk, Rotterdam, as well as to Dordrecht. The water bus is also highly recommended! Since my husband turned 60, Michiel had thoughtfully put a nice bottle of Prosecco in the fridge for us in advance. Breakfast was very tasty and extensive. The beds are very comfortable. Overall, the room could be darkened well for sleeping. The car could be parked very safely in the courtyard. Thank you so much again for the wonderful stay!! It’s very good and charming place to stay

We had an amazing stay at Sharine and Keon’s place! The house was spotless, cozy, and perfectly equipped with everything we needed. It’s located in a beautiful and peaceful neighborhood, with easy access to everything Amsterdam has to offer. Sharine and Keon were fantastic hosts—very responsive, thoughtful, and welcoming. Their home had a warm, personal touch that made us feel comfortable and at home right away. It was the perfect space for our family, and our little one especially enjoyed it. Nanda’s place is very spacious and comfortable, with lovely large windows and all the facilities you would need. The apartment is on the first floor (no lift!) with the hosts’ living area on the ground floor and bedrooms on the second floor. Easy 5 minute walk to buses, just 3 stops to Central Utrecht. Nanda was very welcoming and easy to communicate with. Recommended!

The property is located 20 mins from Schiphol Airport, in a quiet gated community. The house was neat and clean and located beside a water canal. The kitchen and cutlery were well stocked. The furniture was comfortable. Plenty of towels provided. Easy to get to the city and to the other attractions. As stated in the description there is no washer / dryer. Bedrooms are located on the floor above the ground floor, the stairs are a bit steep. Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very responsive, friendly and courteous. Upon request we were given a late checkout which was very helpful and very kind of the host. Indeed a superhost! Would love to come back someday!

We had a lovely stay and Anneke or her daughter were always available for questions during the stay. The house is very nicely decorated, everything was clean, good amenities and the pool and Jacuzzi were great. I am more than happy to recommend the place.

Splendid place for a weekend with friends. Big enough for 12 people, with a gorgeous garden and a nordic bath. We really enjoyed our stay! Only point which could be improved: the kitchen is a bit small if you want to cook.

Insanely great house with super nice hosts. Joke and Peter always help with quick answers and give good tips. There are tips for activities, also to be found directly in the house. The house is a real dream and you feel right at home. We love staying here and have come here once a year so far.

7 of us stayed here and I asked them if they would stay again... we/they all said yes. The only complaint is the road noise. The cars go around the roundabout and rev up their cars and the larger trucks must have a hard time getting around it as they too rev up their motors. The house and location were perfect.
