The cottage is located on the river Amstel, only 15 minutes by car and 20 minutes by bike from the vibrant center of Amsterdam. The cottage overlooks meadows on all sides. Akerdijk is located in Badhoevedorp and offers a garden, jetty with rowboat. The accommodation is 18 km from Zandvoort aan Zee and offers free WiFi and private parking. The nearest airport is Schiphol Airport, 4 km from Akerdijk.

Nice restaurants and terraces on the river are around the corner. Ouderkerk aan de Amstel has many nice cycling routes in the area. Amsterdam is reachable with public transport (30 minutes), bicycle (40 minutes) or by car (15 minutes).
