Minimalist, cozy, rustic and beautifully located on the high Dörnberg above the city of Zierenberg. In the immediate vicinity is an Icelandic horse farm and the restaurant Bergcafé Friedrichstein. Within walking distance are the glider airfield (one of the oldest gliding areas in Germany), the Wichtelkirche and the Helfensteine. The area is very popular for its great hiking trails (e.g. Habichtswaldsteig) and its juniper vegetation along the limestone grassland areas.

Very cozy attic apartment almost directly on the forest, but only 15 minutes by car from the Documentary City of Kassel. A day trip to the Unesco World Heritage Site Wilhelmshöhe Mountain Park including Hercules is worthwhile. Great hiking trails (e.g. Habichtswaldsteig). Rewe, Aldi, pharmacy and ATM in the village. Swimming pool and cinema 10 minutes away by car.

Only 5 minutes drive from Lake Edersee and 10 minutes from Waldeck Castle, which offers a beautiful view over Lake Edersee as well as the national park. Here you can relax in peace, lie in the garden or use the many possibilities of the third largest reservoir in Germany. Stand-up paddle and bike can be rented on site at an extra cost and deposit deposit.

Whilst our place is located in a quiet area of town ideal for a stroll around the nearby fields it, is also well connected to public transport with easy 20min access to the centre. The studio flat is part of a family home with a separate front entrance. Access to the outside dining and bbq area can be arranged upon request. Two supermarkets are within 10min walking distance for self-catering in the fully equipped kitchen.
