Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Scarborough State Beach

We loved The Salty Life! Every year, we go to Narragansett to see our BFF and this place was fantastic for the five of us. Adorably appointed. We all felt that the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were great (loved the walk-right-in vibe after a day on the beach). Easy walk to the beach from the house and we appreciated use of the passes. The kitchen has everything you need with ample seating inside and out back. Ann was really responsive to any sort of reach out we had. We wished we could have stayed longer and hope to return next year. Note - the parking space, which houses two cars, is tight so I'd recommend backing in especially if you have SUVs.

We loved this place! I loved the house decor and location. It was a 10-15 minute walk to the closest beach and there were lots of options for food. Narragansett beach was only 10 minutes away by car and had good food and shops as well! I would stay here again 100%.

Caroline’s place was great. She was a very responsive host and her place was as described. It was clean, spacious easy to get in and good location. There were lots of good restaurants and beaches nearby. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The owners were very responsive and accommodated us on very short notice. The house was clean and well furnished. The back yard was lovely. The house was in close proximity to a lot of area attractions. We appreciated the easy communication with the owners!

Melanie’s house is the perfect vacation house. As soon as you walk in you will be impressed. Beautiful beach decor, clean and well stocked with pretty much anything and everything you could ever need. The view from the top floor balcony is unbelievable!!! We stayed with my in-laws and our older son with his girlfriend for our younger ones URI graduation weekend and we will never forget the 5 days we spent there. We hope to come back soon!!!

Loved staying at this little seaside cottage! Beautiful sunset view. Cute bunnies hopping around in the yard. Very helpful to already have linens & towels available on-site. Easy entry with access code, not having to carry a key was great. Beautiful neighborhood to walk around and look at the houses & the views. Neighbors were super friendly and everyone waved during our daily walks. Easy access point to the bay right down the street so we could paddleboard. Easy walk to George's (awesome tiki bar right on the beach in the sand - live music), Jimmy's Portside (delicious seafood - I say best in Narragansett!), seafood markets, shops, and other restaurants - as well as the Block Island ferry for a day trip. House was very bright/white and clean and peaceful.

This rental looked exactly like the pictures. The wine and bags of ice were very nice touches. The only thing that could have been better were some extra linens/towels. We stayed for 2 nights but we used this as a bridal suite while getting ready and ran out of towels quickly. Thankfully there was a washer and dryer for towels. It looks like they are slowly doing some updates so I’m sure it will look even more amazing when we come back. Can’t wait! Loved your home away from home.

The house was just enough for our family of 6 (we are too big for a hotel room) and you cannot beat the location minutes from the beach on a quiet street. Laundry was an added bonus and amenities were plentiful (soaps, TP, kitchen items, beach accessories, etc)I was apprehensive about one bathroom, but the outdoor shower was helpful and a wonderful addition after a day at the beach. The house was better in real life than the photos - we were pleasantly surprised - and the deck was very spacious and offered great water views. Just minutes from the ocean and a quick walk for coffee and a bagel in the morning. Would definitely stay here again and am already trying to find time to make that work! Thanks Pamela!

We had a really sweet weekend stay here. The location was super convenient — close to Newport, scenic drives, and great food options. The space was clean, cozy, and felt private while still being part of a friendly neighborhood. The bed was comfy, the AC worked great, and check-in was smooth. It had everything we needed for a relaxing trip.

We loved the location overlooking the bay. Very beautiful mornings. Only a short car ride from Newport. Elaine was very helpful and offered early check in and late check out proactively - very nice of her.

We had such a great stay at Alice and Jesse's place. They truly thought of it all, all the amenities and super clean! It's peaceful, quiet, and sunny. Loved having an outdoor deck. This place is beautiful online and even nicer in person. It's also a short car ride to the main Newport area and a 2 minute drive to the beach. Wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you again!

I stayed at Larna’s place for just one night and regret not booking for longer. This has been my favourite location I’ve ever stayed at and gave me a new love for Newport. The place encapsulates Newports charm with a coastal and updated theme in such a historical and amazing building. Larna and Dan supply quite literally everything you could think of if you forget to pack it. There were toothbrushes, body wash, snacks, extra blankets, even fresh muffins from the local bakery. The house felt so cozy. Dan was incredibly welcoming and kind helping with luggage upon arrival and showing us around the rooms. I recommend for groups of 2-4 people, I’d say 5 if someone is willing to sleep on the couch…which I would do as it was wicked comfortable! I highly recommend booking this stay, I wish I had more time spent here and will look forward to booking again and recommending to other people. I feel privileged to have spent time in such a fascinating location with such amazing history!

This apartment was perfect and adorable. Every detail was perfectly cared for. The house was just beautifully decorated! The hostess even baked us a delicious Irish soda bread. It exceeded our expectations!!!

Jay was an excellent host for my four-day stay. The location, cleanliness, parking convenience, and homey feeling all five star for the value. Marianne is wonderful. We had a few questions which she answered right away. The apartment is so nice! Underneath large trees so it didn’t get too hot on the hot day, but 2 a/cs in case they’re needed. One and a half bathrooms so no taking turns. Well stocked full kitchen - dishes, utensils, pots and pans. It is only 10 minutes away from Newport, but without the Newport crowds. The apartment is on the 2nd floor with steep stairs to reach it. If stairs aren’t for you, then this is not the place for you. However,if stairs aren’t an issue then I highly recommend staying here. It’s a lovely place with a lovely owner.

We had a lovely stay at Pelham Court on the hottest weekend of the year so far! Our apartment (#7) was clean and quiet, despite being in the middle of downtown. The AC was excellent and very important for that particular weekend. Although there are no views or a balcony for this apartment, the little courtyard at the back entrance is lovely and has some sitting spaces that we used to spend an hour or so reading. The location is great - once parked at the hotel we walked everywhere, including Cliff Walk, mansions and restaurants. Hosts were very responsive and proactively asked if we needed anything prior to leaving in the evening. Great stay!

LOVED THIS PLACE! We've stayed at many ABBs and this was easily one of our favorite spots. Newport is a must-visit town and this location was fabulous. the entire apartment was so charming, great decor and a wonderful space. the private balcony is a bonus. Restaurants nearby were delish. the host was super responsive and easy to work with. can't recommend this place enough. we'll be back!

Host was responsive and helpful, instructions were clear. The apartment was clean and very nice, we enjoyed eating dinner on the porch. It was easy to drive to downtown Providence and Gillette Stadium. It was easy to get to and a lot of space for parking (we all arrived mostly separately and there was space to park all 3 cars). Also, we were all very impressed by the shower and the water pressure lol. A great location and great Airbnb!! I would def recommend this spot and would come back! 😊

Great place for a few nights in Newport! Location is perfectly situated off of a main shopping street but was very quiet. Was more spacious than shown in the photos! Roof deck was nice as well. Had a small issue w a fire alarm going off but Liliane was easy to communicate with and was able to resolve it within a few hours. Beds were super comfortable and it was great for our group! Parking across the street was convenient for $25/day. Would highly recommend!

Waleed’s place is in a prime location near cafes, bars, restaurants, and local events. Very walkable - never used our car. River walk is 3 blocks away and so many places to walk or run. Exceptional bathroom! Very historic and well designed. Please go to Brown Bee cafe - best pastries ever!

Nice spot very close to everything, small but the right size for a couple to stay!

This is a ground level apartment in an historic home just off Benefit Street, a prime location on Providence’s College Hill. Because of the sloped terrain, it might seem like a basement apartment from one side, but it has a garden entrance at the front door. If you can handle the steep streets in this hilly area, it’s a perfect location if you want to be within walking distance of Brown University, the Rhode Island School of Design, and Downtown Providence. I did not rent a car while staying here and never felt I needed one. Tall travelers should be aware that this dwelling has low ceilings by modern standards. That didn’t bother me in the slightest; in fact, it made the apartment feel more cozy. Nevertheless, visitors over six feet tall should be aware of this aspect and make an informed decision. The apartment has a warm, comforting esthetic with all sorts of art on the walls and books on the shelf, and both made a great background for video conferences using the robust wifi signal.

We love staying here. This was our 3rd or 4th year in a row that we stayed here. It is a great location so close to the beach and the inlet. The unit is always neat and clean and Courtney and Chris are great hosts.
