The cottage is located next to heifers of traditional forest pastures. The place's atmospheric peculiarity is the occasional heifers' bell cling, or a herd arriving for a drink on the adjacent shore.

Here you can enjoy nature and total silence and peace just a 10 min. car drive from Savonlinna centre. You have a good chance of spotting the endangered Saimaa ring seal, often swimming in front of the cottage. Both the cottage and the sauna are just a few meters from the lake shore. The house is part of an old farmyard. The finnish-german couple welcomes its guests the year round, for only one night or for longer stays. The farm and its surroundings offer plenty of activities.
