The log house was spacious and cozy, peaceful surroundings by a beautiful lake. Beach sauna and hot tub a big plus. Hilkka was a friendly and flexible host, we were able to come a little early and check out late. She also responded quickly and gave good instructions.

Our stay at Emmy's cottage was perfect. A wonderful place in a truly beautiful part of the world. The cottage had everything that you would want of a Finnish mökki holiday, and was the perfect base to explore Savonlinna and the whole Saimaa region. It made for a memorable experience. One of the most beautiful places we have stayed! The home is wonderful and had everything we needed for our stay. The surroundings are spectacular. I could have sat on the deck and watched the lake for hours. Veera was lovely and helped us extremely quickly when I inadvertently locked us out of the house…not my finest moment! We hope to come back to this amazing airbnb someday if we make it back to Finland.

We spent a lovely cottage weekend enjoying the outdoors, swimming, and sauna. The stay was a short drive from services like a grocery store. There was a storm over the weekend and we were at the cottage for almost a day without electricity, but Markus handled it in the best way and without asking.

Wonderful place, beautiful house with funny details. Nice environment with private beach. Spacious and comfortable house, perfect for family get together. Working kitchen, with enough of everything. It was an experience to stay here. The hosts great, I admire all the work they put in this unique place.

Very nice lakeside and forest location. The kids loved the swing, especially for adults.

We enjoyed the holiday there very much. In addition to pure relaxation, there were also plenty of activities that were offered to make the stay as unique as possible. The toboggan run, which is only a few minutes walk away from the house, was a super busy for small and large. With the snowmobile provided, we were able to explore the surroundings and drive through the snowy forests. We had a lot of fun! The highlight was also the ice bathing in the lake after the sauna as well as ice fishing. Many thanks to Arthur and his son for sawing up the hole in the frozen lake😁. Definitely worth an experience! We can only recommend this house from the whole family and assure you they will have a holiday like never before with enough fun and relaxation.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this cottage! It was clean, spacious, and perfect for large groups. The place felt brand new, and the view of the lake was simply breathtaking. The BBQ area was the best we’ve ever had at a cottage, and we loved having a pool table to enjoy. The host was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. The lake itself was large and beautiful, and rowing there was an unforgettable experience. The hot tub and sauna were also fantastic additions. Highly recommend!

Nice and convenient small houses on a camping ground directly at the lake. Houses are quite close to each other so you could hear your neighboors.

The house was exactly what we were looking for: a cabin in the middle of the woods, in full contact with nature, perfect for admiring the lake area. We were right on a lake practically everything to ourselves, we also took a nice ride on the lake with the rowboat (there was also the engine but we didn't use it) and the sauna all to ourselves! Awesome!!! In the evening, eating outdoors in silence was wonderful. When we returned to the house we turned on the fireplace, beautiful. The children especially appreciated the darts and the pier on the lake. The house had all the comforts, even if the bathroom was external and organic: a hole with a bucket underneath, where you had to throw fertilizer between times, but it was all reported and it was also fun! The only problem was the cleanliness, because the house was not very clean, but so in the middle of the woods we could safely bear: we cleaned a little and adapted. In general, I highly recommend it!!

The villa and the surroundings are very beautiful. We much enjoyed our stay in the villa and the peacefulness and beauty of the whole area. If you have a chance to stay in this place, don’t hesitate. The hosts were very helpful and friendly.

This cabin is just 15 minutes from Joensuu and completely accessible by car in winter. The cabin is very private, quiet, and completely relaxing with a nice fireplace and wood burning sauna. Everything was completely clean and modern, great functional layout for a small space as well. Host was very quick to respond with any questions and provided proactive check-in instructions. Great place and fantastic value!

Sirikka hosted us very well, she wanted to come shake our hand and show us around the accommodation properly. Accompanied by her son who also welcomed us. The clean accommodation was well heated, beds made and clean and special touches for breakfast etc. It's a great place to stay for the journey.

We had a holiday like in a fairy tale, with lots of snow, in a super cosy, clean and warm mökki, skiing over the frozen lake, and dipping into an ice hole after Heikkis legendary savu sauna. We also tried his delicious potato bread and spent altogether 14 sunny and peacefull days in Hugos huvila. At a certain moment I had a health issue and Heikki was kind and helpful, so it did not spoil the beauty of everything. From the very first day, we absolutely loved it. The Airbnb was perfectly equipped, and nothing was missing. The sauna, whirlpool, and the entire outdoor area are a dream. We will miss the peace and the wonderful nature. It was a fantastic 7 days. Anne was super friendly and helpful and responded immediately to any questions. We will definitely come back!

The apartment is very cozy and well-equipped. The nature around is beautiful, the area has great jogging terrain and great beaches. For those seeking peace and relaxation, the place is very suitable. Heidi responded very quickly to our messages and was always friendly. Thank you for a wonderful vacation experience!

The cottage is in a very part of the Saimaa region and has it's own beach. Everything in cottage itself was as in description, clean and well-maintained. This is a perfect place if you enjoy biking on gravel/asphalt or kayaking - or to enjoy the almost complete absence of any civilisation noise (no cars, planes, motor boats, people etc). Kaisa was very friendly and responded to all of our questions. We enjoyed our stay a lot!
