Nice cottage by a cute little lake. There were other neighbours around but it didn't disturb at all, even now in early spring when the naked trees don't offer yet full privacy. Cottage itself is very neat, cozy and it has all needed (incl nice games for the rainy day). It is not very large, but it has a very smart distribution and separation of spaces. Feels larger than it really is. We had rainy and coldish weather, and therefore the glazed terrace was the weekend savior. Sauna had nice and smooth heat. Would go again.

Our stay at Emmy's cottage was perfect. A wonderful place in a truly beautiful part of the world. The cottage had everything that you would want of a Finnish mökki holiday, and was the perfect base to explore Savonlinna and the whole Saimaa region. It made for a memorable experience. We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beautiful villa in Finland! The location was breathtaking, surrounded by stunning nature and serene lakes. The villa itself was immaculate, with modern amenities and charming decor that made it feel like a home away from home. One of the highlights was the hot tub, offering a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring the area. We also enjoyed using the rowboat to paddle around the lake, taking in the beautiful scenery. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful, providing great tips about local attractions and activities. Whether it was relaxing in the sauna or enjoying the view from the terrace, every moment was a delight. I highly recommend this villa to anyone looking to experience the beauty of Finland in comfort and style. I can’t wait to return!

Our Stay at Essie’s and Pieter’s Cabin was marvelous. The Cabin was really cute and convenient, the location was perfect, close to the nature and in a calm place. It was perfect to stay during winter, and we will come back someday to discover the place during summer !

We had the greatest stay at Kosti’s ! He’s the best host we could ask for. He’s always available when you need anything, and makes sure for your stay to be as welcoming as possible. The sauna and pool are really nice to enjoy, and the location is perfect. The (then frozen) river next to the house offered us the possibility to watch wonderful auroras, and the proximity the Ounasvaraa ski station allowed us to enjoy it as much as possible. I could only recommend you to stay at Kosti’s place if you want your stay to be the best, and feel as a local.

Gorgeous place, isolated spot but still in walking distance of bus to get to city. Cabin has everything you need. Will defo be back!

Had an overall lovely stay with my partner in a spectacular location right by the lake. Astonishing views for both breakfast and dinner were served right through the windows of the cottage. The price is of course in accordance with these features, maybe even a little too much. It might have been the particular weather but it was quite challenging to get the sauna ventilation exactly to where it doesn't let the smoke in the room.

We had a great time with our 2-year-old and a dog. The surroundings were peaceful, looking through the big windows, it really felt like nature was coming all the way. We spent 3 nights, longer would have been entertained. Covered pool rescue when the weather in May wasn't yet summer enough. The yard and interior are cozy and functional. In the guest book more.

Awesome place and great host. We had some problems with the electricity, but Teemu handled it quite fast - during the Christmas days.

A great place for calming and grounding in the midst of nature. Great sauna and nice fire pit. It was easy to do business with Lotta, and the instructions were clear about everything. We had a camping stove with us and I recommend it to others, so you don't necessarily have to use a wood stove for coffee soup or other small heating. None of the insects hurt us, even though we didn't use repellents - the mosquito season is clearly already behind us. We hope you get the chance to come again!

In a wonderfully peaceful place! The wood sauna had good steam. Everything you need was found in the cottage! Very flexible check-in. Responding to messages quickly and the info message was really comprehensive.

Absolutely wonderful place with great views. A great swimming pool and hot tub. The beds were good and all three bedrooms had doors and curtains on the windows. A spacious apartment with a good taste. We were on a cycling trip and got the bikes locked up in the garage for the night, and the batteries charged. The sauna was small, but quite sufficient for us and heated up quickly. The neighborhood is peaceful. Bo lives in the yard, but the terrace was nicely made so that you could enjoy the hot tub in peace. There is a nice little village shop right next door, where you can find everything you need. This was something special. We as a couple had a really hard time to leave this place :-) The Sauna and the lake was so great that we enjoyed it everyday, sitting on the stones in the middle of the lake drinking tea. On top of that Noora is such a warm and helpful person that helped us in every possible way. I think we will return some day :-)

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! The place is very nice and the location is absolutely beautiful, perfect for peaceful holidays. Niko was very kind and helpful, always quick to assist and make sure we had everything we needed. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to return in the future! :)

Relaxing, cosy and beautiful. Modern, charming.

Pauliina was very flexible with the schedules, the place is perfect, a lot of connection with nature, there is an outdoor sauna near the lake, the house has household utensils, there was coffee, the place is perfect for hiking, cycling, if you can bring a kayak it will be perfect. Pauliina, very attentive and loving, brought us more candles. One of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen.

The listing exceeded our expectations many times over and we had a great time! All the details were thoughtful and nothing was left to chance. Everything in the cottage was easy and clear. The cottage was really comfortable, inside you could find all the amenities, including air heat pumps. It was easy to enjoy the outdoors on the magnificent terrace, which opened up to a stunning sea view. The sun loungers on the terrace were our absolute favorite! 😊 There was also a hot tub on the terrace, which was great to relax in both during the day and in the evening. The most memorable was the feeling of luxury that made everyday worries forget. In a peaceful environment, the mind rested and recovered. Lasse was an excellent host who made sure we were all well. I'm sure we'll be back! 😊

The place is just wonderful. It is located beautifully by the river, cozy and has a great sauna. Piia is a very nicesnd friendly host. Everyhting went easily with her since the booking, staying and checking out. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely come again.

Simply fantastic. The house, the lake, the sauna, everything. You get what you see in the pictures and in addition super nice hosts. We were also very lucky with the weather and were therefore also able to use the terrace around the house a lot.

Beautiful peaceful place! Went for a long walk in the forest and a swim in the lake. The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. Can definitely recommend!
